Photoshop Elements

 I recently installed the 2024 with update from 2021 on a new PC (I9, thirteenth generation, 32GB RAM, crane GB, win 11 Pro).  Following the community, I noticed a large number of questions mostly about Organizer rather than Editor. This means that users, both new users and those who have been using Elements for years like me, are experiencing some difficulties. Here are my questions.I've ruled out automatic updates because I'm worried about having errors that I can't fix. I therefore attach at the bottom of the post the screen shot of my system. I note that Windows 10 appears and not Win 11. Because? When will I be able to return to automatic updates? I've already encountered problems downloading the program at the camera raw level. Community helped me. Does this precaution of excluding automatic updates only affect users in France, Germany, and Japan? How do I get notified if there are new secure updates? "Adobe support in Italy is tiring."The problem of backing up catalogs

Die letzten Tage habe ich versucht mich in PSL 2024 einzuarbeiten.Auch der Startseite zum Beispiel :  Gehe ich auf Link öffnen erscheint eine Hand und wenn ich dann damit clicke , verschwindet die Seite.Ist das richtig ?Bei PSL 8 konnte ich die Bilder einzeln hochladen und auf dem ganzen Bildschirm bewegen, auch ausserhalb des PSL Bildschirms, und einzeln bearbeiten und dann alles zusammenfügen.Zum Beispiel : Um den Münzen waren Schatten vom Scann, die habe ich mit dem Radiergummi entfernt.Mit dem neuen Programm ist der Kreis größer wie das was entfernt wird. Kann man das ändern,den so kann ich den Schatten nicht exakt entfernen

When I list or browse I can see the 2020 catalog file I want to convert, but it is greyed out and cant be loaded by PSE 2024.  Using Mac with Sonoma, and need some solutions,  Thank you. 

I'm running win 10 with a Radeon HD 6450 video card and cannot load raw files in Elements 2024 due to not having GPU acceleration enabled.  Have tried several suggestions and cannot get it to work.  Is there a way to go back to an earlier version of that 'raw installer' or is there another solution?  Thanks,  Mike

Tried to download/install elements 2024. When installed it would not load and a message appeared saying that ippcve9.dll was missing. How can I purchase/install your product if you do not provide the proper dll's?Should that not be a part of the program and downloads?What can a customer do to effectively install elements when the dll is missing?Thank You

Seit einiger Zeit poppt mit dem Öffnen der Software automatisch die Suche nach der Druckervebindung auf, ohne dass ich drucken will. Wie kann ich das abstellen?

Updated from Elements 18 to 24 (Core version 24.0) recently.  Catalogue size = 221.9 mb. Cache size = 2.8 gb. Now every time I select "Find, All Missing files" It displays a message saying searching and then it shows a message at the top of the browser saying "All Missing Files" but all I see is my full catalogue of thumbnails - nothing changes (no message displayed saying no photos found). Then I purposely changed a few file names in MS Explores and tried again. This time it does display the missing files but they are inserted into my full catalogue of thumbnails at the top of the browser screen and if I try to scroll down all of the thumbnails get distorted and split into two different photos. Also when I try to close the Elements 24 editor is keeps popping back up. No matter if I close it by clicking on the x or by clicking on exit. It popped up about 5 times before it stayed closed. Also, importing photos from Iphone 15 using the browser import feature kept crashing the browse

Prior to purchasing Elements I was using a free site called Pixlr. On Pixlr, there is an option to outline text. You can even change the color of the outline. I'm trying to replicate this in Photoshop Elements and can't seem to figure it out. The best solution I've come across so far is to make a copy of the text layer and contract and cut out the center. This works but isn't as clean as the outline option in Pixlr. Is this possible to do in Photoshop or is this simply a Pixlr feature?   

Tengo una licencia de Adobe PhotoShop Elemnts 14 y al intentar instlarlo en un ordenador con Windows 11 me aparece un mensaje que dice "El número de serie que ha interoducido ha sido revocado", pero el número de serie es correcto. En cambio cuando lo intento con un ordenadro con Windows 7 en el porceso de activación me aparece que no se pudo acivar porque el ordenador no tiene acceso a Internet, pero el ordenador si tiene internet.

I recently updated to Elements 2019 and the Keyword Tags panel places new and existing keywords tags, cats and subcats in erratic ways. I tried to change the Preferences for Tags and Albums from all alphabetical to all manual or a mixture as suggested in the online User Guide and nothing was changed. It refused to allow me to move things around manually. As an example, in the Keyword Panel, under a "Family" category I have 2 items near the top of the list (call them 2018 A & 2018 B) and I added a new 2018 C and Elements place it down below a Jxxx keyword. There a multiple examples of this irrationality. I find nothing in the Forums addressing this problem

Hi,Thank you community I now have Elements 2024 up and running again.Trying to install the RAW converter I'm getting error code 190It is saying my OS version 6.1.7600 doesn't satisfy requirements. I'm confused:Running Windows 10 Home, version 22H2, OS build 19045.4291I've no trouble for the past 6 months and then yesterday Elements would not open, we fixed that.Now I can not open RAW images. Can someone please advise? Thank you.Tony  

The latest ACR 16.0.0.1677 for PSE 2024 has the "Toggle Visibility" icon grayed out and non-functional. This ACR switch allows a temporary look at the original image after "Edit" > "Auto".The previous ACR 15.5.5.0.1595 has the functional "Toggle Visibility" icon switch.I resolved this problem by retrieving this previous ACR from another computer with an un-updated ACRand copying the "File Formats" folder at "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\Elements 24\" from one computer to the other.

HiThe application crashes every time I try to open any the sub-menus in the  preferences (for example to  show rulers, etc.). I have tried to delete and re-install the application to no avail. System is Sonoma, 14.4.1.Otherwise, the application works as intended.Does anybody has an idea of what could be wrong? Thanks and kind regards,José Antonio

Hi,I'm running Windows 10 and PSE 2018I take images on my Canon 250D in both JPG and RAW format.I have uploaded the images to an external disk drive.I can view the images in Explorer in both JPG and RAW (CR3) format but I cannot open the RAW images in PSE Editor or Organizer.I can open the RAW images in the basic Microsoft Photo Editor.Do I need to upgrade my PSE to a more recent version?ThanksJohn

Organizer 2023 V 21.0Is there a way to reduce the size of the lettering of the captions? I am setting the print out to 3 columns and the lettering of the captions are cut off.

I think someone indicated that they had to uninstall editor 2024 and the reinstall it to work with windows 7  Is that correct? If so do you loose your picture catelog when you delete the app? Or when are they gong to fix the problem caused by the last update?

how do you multifile images from negative to positive?

I downloaded all my images on an Imac to PSE 2023 Organizer using the download in Bulk but I forgot to click stack jpeg and Raw.  I selected all the images in the Organiser and clicked "Automatically suggest photo stacks" and all the images disappeared bar a couple in ps format and some mp3's. I couldn't undo the action so I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the organizer but no change.

I recently ourchased a new EOS R50 which shoots raw in the CR3 format, and downloaded (on 5 May) the 2023 version of Photoshop elements on my Macbook,  The CR3 files won't open and the onlline help from PE 2023 is useless - incorrect.  How can I find out the version of Camera Raw installed and how can I manually download a newer version if needed ?  Thanks in advance for the help !BD

I have used Elements 13 for many years on a former computer, and have just successfully re-installed it on a replacement machine. [I have a valid Adobe account where I can see the original Serial Number.]  The software loads to the familiar "Welcome" splash, and the Organiser part ot the installation does seem to work correctly. However, when I attempt to open the Editor, the application hangs with "Loading the Elements Editor Workspace" and offers a pop-up asking me to Sign in and enter an Adobe Id to validate the software. This I can do,  of course, and the pop-up reports a successful sign in. However,  when I return to the application it seems  nothing has changed. I can continue this fruitless circle indefinitely. Could anyone cast any light on this issue? 

I want my image and rule size to automatically go to inches instead of percent. It used to! How do I change back?
