Photoshop Elements

Hi All,I have downloaded a Luts Pack and I am having difficulty installing this plugin into my Photoshop Elements 2017. The files are .cube format and it seems that PE is not recognizing this kind of format.I did open Preferences - Plugins - Additional Plugin Folder - Choose, but when the files show up they are grayed out so that they can't be chosen. I have managed to install other plugins before such as the Nic Collection but that wasn't in .cube format. Does anyone know if I should be able to install files with .cube format? If this is possible could anyone please guide me as to how to instal these files? Thank you.

Depuis que j'ai acheté ce logiciel j'ai un problème bloquant quand j'ouvre l'organisateur. Au bout de quelques secondes, un message s'affiche provenant de Microsoft Visual C++  Runtime Library. Si je fais "ignorer" ou "recommencer" ou "abandonner" l'organisateur se ferme brusquement.Utilisation sous Windows 10 - 64 bitsVoir la capture d'écran ci-jointe.Je suis utilisateur depuis de nombreuses années de ce type de logiciel et je n'ai jamais rencontré un tel problème. Dernier logiciel acheté : Photoshop Elements 2019 et Premier Elements 2019 et je n'avais aucun soucis.Avez vous une solution svp ?Merci de votre réponse.

Every so often, I back up my Organizer, now with 144,000 items, and move to a second laptop where I 'Restore' so I have full back up of everythings and tags and albums.  this time on 'Restore' it keeps informing me that it is doing it through OneDrive, although I requested it do it through my external hard drive setting, and transfer to the second laptop.  It appears to be taking forever.  It normally will all take a couple of days but this seems slower.Is it best to let it run through this time, and in futre switch off OneDrive however I do that?  Whatever it does, I have no idea and do not know if I need it.  Thank you. 

Is it possible to download data from Photoshop Elements Organizer?  Specifically, want to download file name, file date & file location.  

error message - the catalog could not be opened.  It is either corrupt or the version is out of date.

I did a search for duplicates with PSE2020 on a windows 10 laptop. Several hundreds of duplicates showed up on a grid showing a percentage for each. How do I now delete the duplictes and leave the original in the catalog?

I recently upgraded to an HD monitor with my new system. I used to have an LED monitor. I am now finding when saving files in 300ppi, the files are extremely large and take up too much space. I like to print my images at 300ppi. Is there a way to change that? I just upgraded from Elements 9 to Elements 2022 last year so I am on a huge learning curve. Thanks for any help.

Hi all! I fully back-upped a Windows11-PSE23-catalog to an external NTFS formatted stick including foto-files.No I try to restore the stick on MacOS-M1 and get the error message, that the stick contains no valid backup. Could it be the problem, that the NTFS-formatted stick is not writeable on MacOS, although the stick is the data source?Unfortunately all these processes last hours up to days because of the bulk of data (500GB). Is it possible to copy the catalog  itself without foto-files using the backup and restore mechanism of PSE23 andcopy the foto-files using normal OS-typic operations like copying them with the Windows-explorer ? Regards,AAA

Hello all,I repeatedly tried to fully backup my catalog to an external drive (f:) under windows 11 - without success.The error message means something like: "error writing to c:\users\...\...\catalogname\CAXMPFiles\2302382.xmp" Info about Free disk sizes:The catalogs size on c: is about 12 GB, the foto folder and subfolders are about 500GB.The free space on my drve C: is about 15GB, the free space on my drive d: with the foto folders is about 60GB.The stick is empty besides the files (about 10GB) of the interrupted backup trials, free disk space is 950GB. I did before backing up  the following:Repair the catalogOptimize the catalogand then I started the backup prceessthe only warning ocured was that the program could not match some files with the catalogIs there any suggestion what the cause of the error is?Regards thank-you and happy new yearAAAI

Hab digitalisierte Uralt-Dias mit PSE 2020 aufbereitet, verschlagwortet und bei dieser Gelegenheit mit 'Standort hinzufügen' im Organizer an die richtigen Stellen auf der Karte gezogen. Ortsangaben, Beschreibung, Datum etc. sind alle richtig in den IPTC Daten gelandet und im exiftool sichtbar.Was ich ums Verrecken nirgends finde, sind die Koordinaten der zugewiesenen Orte. Weiß jemand, wo und in welchem Format der Organizer die ablegt?Das wäre übrigens mein Vorschlag für eine neue Funktion: Wenn noch keine GPS Koordinaten vorliegen, trägt der Organizer auf Wunsch die Koordinaten des zugewiesenen Orts als XMP Parameter ein.

My photos are arranged chronogically, but sometimes I take photos of old maps or old photos.  They are positioned chronologically as to when I took the photo, but I then want to change the date to match the historic map or photo so it would be in the correct historic chronological order.  So, I replace the date.  That all works fine, but it leaves me way back at the historic date instead of where I was when I decided to correct the date.  Is there an easy way for me to return to the original chronological position where the photo used to be?   In case this is confusing, here is an example.  In 2010, I photo-copied 5 historic aerial photos all from different dates in the 1930s-40s.  They all sat as 2010 photos for 12 years.  Now I want to redate them all - one is from 1937, 1942, 1948, etc.  When I did the first one, I was left in 1937.  Now I want to go back to 2010 to work on the second one.  How do I get back to the aerials

I recently followed instructions in a YouTube video to increase the canvas size and add a drop shadow to a few photos. It works perfectly in PSE 2020. But, at the end of the process, I did a select all and added a stroke (outline) around the white space. This added another shadow inside the stroke which I didn't want. The only way around this I found was to save the photo as a JPG after adding the drop shadow and then reload the photo and then add the stroke. Is there a better way to do this without the extra steps of saving as a JPG and then reloading it to add the stroke?

I was told this was a bug In the software that had some kind of workaround posted in these forums.  I can't find it.I have photoshop elements 2018.  After removing a plugin... DXO Viewpoint 2 and upgrading to Viewpoint 3... the filter for both are showing.There is no plugin installed for viewpoint 2 anymore and there isn't any files on my MAC that refer to viewpoint 2Anyway to edit this out of photoshop?

Cependant impossible d'imprimer?Quand  je clique sur "Imprimer" l'ordinateur  les paramètre de l'imprimante n'apparaissent pas et photoshop se plante et ne répond plus à aucune solicitation. Ich habe Photoshop Elements neu und lizensiert, kann es aber kaum nutzen.Fast alle FUnktionen sind gesperrt / ausgegraut. Warum? Alle Funktionen unter dem Haupt-Menupunkt Ebenen sind ausgegraut. Ich kann keine Ebenen erstellen.Alle Punkte unter dem Hauptmenupunkt Fenster sind ausgegraut mit Ausnahme von Werkzeuge. Kann mir jemand helfen?

I recently got a new computer. I open the app, and it tells me "Login required." I enter my log in information, and instead of logging me in, it leads me back to the screen that says, "Login required." This is Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 transferred from another computer via Time Machine.

After years of working brilliantly, I cannot access the editor suite in my PSE 12 .  Catalogue is fine.  Have uninstalled and reinstalled (twice).  No change - no editor!

How can old, not being used File Tag Properties be edited independent without Organizer learning that you did this?  I use Elements Organizer 2023 with my WIN11 64Bit OS. I have used Organizer for many years. Previously, 12 years?, there were other Apps used. The Organizer Tags are fine. They actually reside with the Tag data found in each file Properties, under the DETAILS tab as you do that right click to access that files Properties. This is where my wish to do some Tag maintenance. As due to the history of my catalogue endeavors there exists a residual amount of unneeded Tag data, in the file's Properties. Now, these other Tags go un noticed by Organizer though these other residual Tag data are "Seen" by other applications and treated as 'bonafide' image references. For instance, on another Cloud Server the Organizer Tab data is managed, which is fine, BUT, so are unwanted Tag data not used anymore which, makes lots of clutter. ... I bought the set of Photoshop and Premiere Elements end december 2022 and installed version 20.0. It runs on a Windows 10 machine. The Help\Updates... menu item is greyed out.However obviously there are updates (https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/release-note/update.html). First to 2022.1 on december 18th and now to 2022.2 on february 7th.Creative cloud only updates Camera RAW to 14.2.My photoshop elements version is still 20.0.
