Photoshop Elements

How do I uninstall (and then reinstall) DXO NIK Collection 5 that is on my PSE 2022 program?One of the plug-ins stopped working. Thank you.

I'm following a text that to expand the range of a photo you take the file, modify it, then save it. Then you open the same file, modify it, and use the move tool and the shift key to drag and drop the one on top of the other. Unfortunately it's not working. The author does not say what format to use for the first file, just to use Save As and rename it. Then adjust the image, open the first one saved under another name, Float All in Windows, hit V for the move tool, hold down the shift key and drag and drop it on top of the other. That's supposed to create a new layer, "pin-registered" on top of the other one, but it's not working. No new layer, no combination into one file. How do I make this work? Thanks.

I have activated one font and purchased another.  I have restarted my computer and also closed out of Adobe multiple times.  However the font still does not show up when I attempt to use it. I also looked in the Mac font folder, it is not there.  What do I do to begin using these fonts?Thanks in advance

I installed a trial version of Elements 2023. The RAW version installed is V 14.4.0 which will not open my Fujifilm X-T5 RAW files. I have downloaded the latest RAW plug in V 15 and followed the installation process but the RAW plugin is still showing as V 14.4.0. The trial is of no use to me if I am unable to open my camera files. Help please anybody.

Hello, Today i bought photoshop elements 2023, When pointing to my directory in the organizer it only imports half the files and leaves out several thousend of supprted RW2 files. When trying to reimport it still does not work.it says "The file is damaged or is in a format that cannot be included in Elements Organizer" but RW2 is supported and the files are not damaged. How can i Get it to work properly? Also it chops maps in several files and giving them a Letter as name. For example, a map with sportfoto's and a name racing. was divided in 4 maps, 1 called racing and the orher 3 called D.Whats up with that? I just have regular map and work with the latest MacOS Monterey. In other editing software they open just fine.Hopefully somebody can help me out.Sorry for my English but it is not native to me. RegardsHenny

Ich habe rund 56.000 Bilder, die ich bisher mit allen Versionen von Photoshop Elements Organizer prima verwalten konnte. Nun kann ich zwar mit dem Organizer 2020 alle Bilder in der Organizer laden und sehe diese auch im „Rastermodus", klicke ich aber auf ein Bild in meiner Sammlung zur Ganzseitendarstellung (100%-Zoom), erscheint nur eine graue Fläche mit einem Fragezeichen. Ich habe zuerst meine Fotosammlung aus der Version 2019 importiert und umgewandelt und dachte, vielleicht lag bei der Umwandlung das Problem. Aber nachdem ich meine gesamten Bilder nochmal komplett neu in einen neuen Katalog importiert habe, habe ich das gleich Problem bei der Ganzseitendarstellung. Leider hat auch das jüngste Update keine Besserung gebracht und ich finde es grottig, das Adobe kein direkten Support anbietet, sondern uns Anwender nur hier die "Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe" bietet. Allein das ist schon kein Geld wert, aber vielleicht hat jemand das gleiche Problem und vielleicht auch eine Lös

I have used PSE 8.0 for years but decided to "upgrade" to 2023. As part of the installation I accepted the option of having 2023 use the existing 8.0 Organizer (containing about 20,000 photos). After the installation procedures completed I found that none of the 2023 Organizer Menu Bar items (File, Edit, Find, View, Help) or the other action Buttons (Import, Create, Share) respond to being clicked. No sub-menus are presented when these items are clicked. I tried restarting the app and restarting the computer. I'm not a techie so don't really know what I should do next. I looked for help in the Adobe material but couldn't find anything helpful. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I had PSE 2021 (for Windows 10) and  had to format my hard disk. I have the code. Now I want to upgrade to PSE 2023. How should I go about it?Should I download the 2021 version, reinstall and then go for upgrade or just pay the money for version 2023 and download and install it?  Will I get the full installable version of 2023 or the upgrade that works only if the working version 2021 existing on the hard drive? When I click 'upgrade', the site simply tells me to pay the money for upgrade but I am not sure I would be able to successfully upgrade after paying money. Thanks. 

Can I save a design with an AVG extension in Photoshop Elements?

Just purchased Elements 2023 and installed it. The user interface is way too light. I tried looking in Preferences to see if I could change it, darken it, but I could not see any UI settings. I know I could in Elements 2019. I have low vision and my personalization perferences on my computer, Windows 10, are set to High Contrast. I tried taking my settings off of High Contrast, but that did not help. If I am unable to change the User Interface to be darker, I will not be able to use Elements 2023. I will have to uninstall it and reinstall 2019. I am attaching a scree shot of what I see. It is just too light and I can not see menus, etc.  Susan

How do I reinstall Adobe Photoshop Elements 14 from the CD?  I installed the software on my computer on 11/20/16. I need to reinstall the software because my computer crashed.  The CD will not bring up the install process.  How do I proceed?

I had Topaz denoise in my old elements 2019 but it will not show up in elements 2022, it is in the plugins folder but will not work when I try to use it.

Can anyone help please? The Adobe advisors cant apparently. I am using PE2020 on windows 10 . Ive uninstalled and reinstalled but have the same issue. It launches but doesnt open photo editor. Just says its searching for plug ins. I want to upgrade to PE2023 but loathe to if it doesnt work like this and nobody can help me. Thanks for any suggestions!

I have downloaded Elements 2020 on my Mac High Sierra, using the serial number on a DVD bought on Amazon in France.  The version I downloaded is in US English.My problem is that I cannot activate it.  I try to fill in my serial number but the numbers do not appear and I am asked for a Redemption code, which I simply do not have - perhaps Amazon in the US provides this code but French Amazon does not; only the Serial Number is given with the DVD.How can I activate the software?

I had a previous employee who spent an insane amount of time in Adobe Bridge loading in keywords for an image database we have. Is there a way to retrieve these keywords? I don't want to start from scratch.

I use an SD Card as a usual drive. On the SD Card is Onedrive with my private files. The original files are on the cloud (master). I've a local copy of all files. When I use the Photoshop Elements Organizer he creates in my windows photo library a folder "Adobe" to import files from SD Card. My library is saved on a SD Card together with all my files from OneDrive. I use the SD Card as storage extension for my limited SSD. So my local Onedrive and all my Windows libraries are on the SD Card. This creates a circle. Photoshop Organizer copies now my library (on the SD Card) in a sub-folder of my library on the same SD Card all files. More or less each file is duplicated. Since my library is original on Onedrive all the duplicated files are uploaded to my Onedrive too. So the import feature of the Organizer eats my local and cloud space  I use the SD Card because my SSD does not have sufficient space for files. I can't upgrade my SSD without to break my notebook (

Downloaded both software's to Windows 11. They are separate programmes but I understood that they were bundled together. Yet to try them. Can, for example, I open Premier Elements from Elements or vice versa. Also even though separate programmes, if I install my photo's on the Elements Organiser will they be available to both programmes.I hope the answers are such that one can open, say, Elements to edit images and then access to Premier for video editing, adding images etc. 

As the 'wizards' here have helped me in the past resolve the last issue, could someone here in the Community  kindly guide me as to how I can remove a Covid-19 face mask of a photograph so that only the face shows, e.g. a friend being presented with an award? Thanks in advance.

I am wondering if there is a way to apply a gradient  to an existing layer mask that already has a selection without deleting the selection. Maybe another gradient can be cliped to an existing layer mask? For example. 1- Make a duplicate layer, use a layer mask to select the background of the subject and blur it. The result is that all of the background will be blurred making the subject stand out. 2.If its possible,  apply a gradient to the  layer mask so that only distant objects will be very blurred and nearby objects less blurred. I know this can be done if just the background is copied to a separate layer using control + J.Then a gradient can be applied to a layer mask.  But what about the situation where the layer mask has the selection of the background? Applying a gradient will remove the selection of the background that is already on the layer mask.  Your advice would be appreciated. Kind regardsChris  

I have been running PSE version 11 for many years and am still quite happy it meets my needs. BUT I run on MACOS which changed from 32 bit architecture to 64 bit a few years ago and PSE11 is 32 bit.This is now the only application which prevents me upgrading to enjoy later MAC 64 bit OS.PSE upgrades are not cheap, but can anyone advise how to upgrade a basic PSE and what options I might have version and/or cost wise.  I am only an occasional amateur user.All ideas welcomed.

Hello, I bought photoshop elements 2020 in november 2019. I bought an (official) adobe box with a cd rom and a serial nummer on it. Now my computer crashed (I got a new motherboard)  and I want to install elements again on my pc,  which does not have a cd rom. If I now want to download elements 2020 from Adobe I have to fill in my serial number. I get the message that it is already in use. Which it is ofcourse not in reality. Anyone? thanks

Just uupgraded from PSE 2020 to PSE 2023.If the display resolution is set to 2560x1440 to match the monitor, the following problems occur:File, Edit, Find, View and Help do nothing when hovering the mouse pointer over them or clicking on them.Right click on photos or file directories do nothing. If the display  resolutioin is set to 1920x1440, then the PSE 2023 performs normally. This was never a problem with PSE 2020.
