I'm trying to delete photo from page

Rather than an adjustable circle when using the burn or dodge tool I get a "cross". How do I get my circle back? 

Photoshop 2020 & 2021 will only launch once on MAC OS 12.0.1.   If you close them, then you must restart the computer to reopen.      Being told to downgrade to an older OS is not satisfactory and the Adobe Customer Support is terrible.  It is intentionally near impossible to navigate to a warm body to get help and actually communicate an issue.    Adobe gets a thumbs down on this blunder.      [Branched by moderator from a thread about the beta version of Monterey. The advice to downgrade the OS in that thread was for the unsupported beta version and does not apply to the released version. Subject edited slightly.]  

Like a lot of folks, I find myself using my phone more often for photos. I carry a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5G. It takes wonderful landscape images, but I'm not yet proficient at using the panorama feature, so I still do thinks the old fashioned way by taking a series of images and stitching them together in Elements.  That works fine, but the files are huge (so I save them at a reduced file size, no issues there). The problem is that the pano images won't display in the organizer.  I just get the grey box that looks like a broken pane of glass. I can do everything else I need to with the files, including working on them in the editor, but I just can't see them in the organizer.  Any thoughts on what is causing this?  Thanks!

I am trying to create a slideshow in Photoshop Elements 2019 using Windows 10.  When I select Create Slideshow, it automatically generates a preview and the top menu and the top portion of the side menu disappear; it seems as if the screen resizes too large for it all to be seen.  I'm attaching screen shots so that you can see that the menus at the top and top part of the left disappear when I select Create Slideshow. In the first screenshot, you'll see the menus are there. In the second screenshot--IMMEDIATELY upon selecting Create Slideshow--the menus are still there. In the third and fourth screenshots, you'll see that the top menu and the top of the left menu disappear within a second of selecting Create Slideshow. It is as if the screen has resized too large to display it all. The fifth screenshot is after I've pressed Esc, which is the only way to get out of the slideshow preview. Once I select No, then the screen appears as Screenshot 1 again.&

I have Photoshop Elements 2020 on a disc. It never worked on the laptop I have. But I am now buying a new laptop with Windows 11. Will PE 2020 work on that?Sture

I am currently using Elements v2021 and I am being plagued with Organiser automatically importing my .mp3 music files into the catalogue. How can I prevent this?Dennis

I picked up PS/Premiere Elements 2022 second hand (but sealed) I'm trying to redeem the redemption code and keep getting this error. I've tried on two broswers.Can someone give me a hand? I'll gladly provide a photo of the card and it's packaging to a trusted Adobe representative. TIA

I just upgraded Photoshop Elements 2020 on my Mac to the 2023 version and now I notice that scrolling through all the tags works very frustrating, it scrolls one tag at the time so it takes ages to get to the right one. Has anyone else experienced the same problem? Are there any suggestions to solve this?

Hi. I'm trying to install Elements 2022 but the installation file on the website seems to have an error . The installer for Elements 2023 seems to be OK so I'm sure it is the file rather than anything my PC is blocking. Can anybody advise where I can get a working Elements 2022 installer ? I'm replacing my computer.  How do I move Photoshop Elements 19 to my new computer?

I purchased a boxed version of Photoshop Elements 11 and Premiere Elements 11 from Best Buy 7 or 8 years ago. I just recently bought a new laptop because my old one crashed, but it doesn't have a cd drive. Is there any way to download the version 11 to my new laptop without paying for it again OR paying for a newer version?Community forums say to go here to download older versions but it only shows 2019 and 2020.https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install.html#PhotoshopElementsPremiereElements 

All of a sudden the images from my camera won't upload to my computer! I've never experienced this before! If I click on IMPORT or Get images from Card Reader or Camera, my Adobe Photoshop Elements Organizer stops responding & I can't do anything but close the program! Any help out there?

Hi, I have purchased and installed Photoshop Elements successfully on a previous computer.That computer died and so have gone to install it on a new computer.I get the message that "the serial number is already in use."I have gone onto my account on Adobe.com, can see the software and licence registered there.I have also checked under activated devices and there are no devices shown under here. So as far as I can see I have genuine software, have used it successfully in the past, no activated devices yet it's not being accepted. Any help very much appreciated.

I've just upgraded to Elements 2022 and I wanted to backup the catalog structure as I'm totally fed up with re-tagging photos. I would have done a full backup previously if it didn't include the actual photos.When I select the Backup Catalog option from the file menu it quite happily goes through both steps but when I click the Save Backup button it pops up a "Please wait whilst Elements Organizer prepares your backup..."I've left this running overnight to no avail.My catalog is around 26k photos and 2k videos with some tagging but nowhere near to what I used to have after destroying a previous catalog during a migration between older versions.Thanks for any assistace

HalloIch benutze seid vielen Jahren Photoshop Elements und schneide alle meine Fotos auf 16.9 zu. Nun plötzlich springt meine Benutzerdefinierte Einstellung nach dem abspeichern der Foto auf Fotoverhältnis verwenden. Are install cd/dvds available 2023? How many personal devices (non business) can I install it on?

I'm using Elements 2019. When I try and use "Open Closed Eyes" and "Adjust Facial Features" I get a message "No Faces Can Be Found etc. There are definitely faces in this picture. Can anyone help?

I have a Fuji Finepix S 2900 camera and Element 6 installed on Windows 10 platform. This system has worked for years. Now Elements will not detect camera when trying to import images. Tried a differant USB cable with same results.

I'm having a weird (for me) problem that seems like it should be simple to figure out, but I'm stuck.  I have am inage that I previously created in PSE that's about 50 MB. I'm trying to include it in a Facebook cover photo banner that I'm designing, but I'm losing all the resoution, it looks like a fuzzy blob. I've tried cutting and pasting from one FSE to another, which causes it to paste in huge, so I have to resize it... and lose all the resolution.  I understand that it's reducing the resolution, but I know there's some way of keeping the sharpness. I see high-detailed Facebook cover photos all the time. I just can't figure out how to get from my 50 MB file to something that will fit into my 830px x 360px layout without losing all the resoluiton. Can anyone help me out? 

I want to make two different selections on the same image. For example, to paste a photo of a donut on a different background, I would select the perimeter of the donut and then select the donut hole. When I attempt to select the donut hole and release the mouse the selection line disappears, and I never get to the marching ants phase.  How do I make the second selection?  The "add" button at the bottom of the page seems only to expand an existing selection.  I have read that holding down the shift key is supposed to allow a second selection, but that doesn't work either.  HelMike
