Photoshop Elements

I have recently acquired an older iMac which is unable to run Elements 2023. On Adobe's website, I can download Photoshop Elements 2022 and use the free trial. When I go to try and purchase it, it says that I am purchasing Photoshop Elements 2023. Is there any way to purchase the full version of Photoshop Elements 2023 2022? If not, is there a similar program that will run on Mac OS Catalina (10.15.7). Thanks for any advice!   ----edited by moderator---

Apologies if this has already been discussed. My question is whether Photoshop Elements (2021 19.0 x 64) can handle 10-bit displaysin the same way as Photoshop. In Photoshop one has to carry out the following:Edit > Preferences > Performance > Graphics Processor Settings > Advanced Settigns ...Drawing Mode > Normal or Advancedcheck 30 Bit Display option Photoshop Elements seems to offer a more limited choice as follows:Edit > Preferences > Performance > Graphics Processor SettingsUse Graphic Processor for improved performance I am wondering whether this difference is due to in-built limitationsof Photoshop Elements or, maybe, due to the fact that the Graphics Processorthat has been detected does not allow such settings. Many thanks in advance for any help or pointers.

I've removed all traces of any previous Photoshop files, cleaned junk files off the computer, rebooted several times, but when I try running the Photoshop 2020 Elements install, it opens a window (see screen capture below) and just stops.  Nothing happens.  This is ONLY happening on my main desktop computer.  It's a fast computer with plenty of RAM, more than meeting the spec requirements.  I've also rebooted to Safe Mode and tried installing, but that doesn't work either.  However, I was able to successfully install PS 2020 Elements on two laptops with no problems. Anyone have a cure for this issue?  Please, anyone with advice or suggestions would be apprecited. When I run the install, all I get is this pop up window: If I click on the X to close the window, the window changes to this:

Wanting to upgrade a 76-yr-old, irreplaceable, black and white, wallet-size, wedding photo to at least an 8”x10” — ideally to a 10” x 13” or 11” x 14” — without having to blur/lose details. Enough detail is present to go that large but damage on 2 of 4 individuals is making this a real challenge! Photo was actually carried in a wallet at one time -- has severe crackle interspersed with “blue mold” (photo's reaction to leather wallet and/or something stored adjacent) when scanned in color at 4800 ppi. Scanning in color versus black and white, for me, creates an IDEAL, vintage look (just a hint of brown) that also makes flaws easiest to see/repair. However, willing to try from any approach at this point! Tried so far:  Scanning all the way down to as low as 150 ppi doesn’t resolve the problem.  Too much damage exists to repair all that is visible at only 15 to 20 zooming — using spot healing brush (both proximity match and conte

I'm almost embarrassed to post this, but I've had zero luck getting through to a live person at Adobe. Using PS Elements. I've got two images open in the window. Want to drag the application to my external monitor because it's larger and brighter and should let me focus on some of the finer details, don't you think? Well, forget that noise, because MacOS won't allow me to drag the window from my internal display to my external monitor. WTF? Also, I don't know how my profile got changed or why I can't post this under my original profile.

At first I thought it was related to launching videos in the Organizer, but when I try to backup the catalog it hangs and eventually I get a message that the program is no longer responding. This has happened repeatedly. Looked for online help, tried to optimize and then repair catalog -- both failed with the no longer responding message. My PC is a Windows 11 running the latest version. How can I fix this please?

Es erscheint der Kreis, innen mit einer unscharfen bläulichen Verfärbung, aber er kopiert mmir nicht mehr die gewünschten Stellen im Foto. Wer kann mir helfen? Bitte in deutscher Sprache!

I have Elements 2020 and haven't used it for quite a while.  I notice that the Maps/Place feature no longer works, I've tried searcing for a solution online without success.When I click on the Places tab I get a 404 error page which seems to suggest that the application is not connecting correctly, see screenshot.Can anybody point me in the right direction?  I'm using Mac OS Monterey. 

Je viens d'installer PSE 2023 sur un nouveau PC et de convertir mon catalogue. Tout s'est bien passé, sauf que l'écran de l'Editeur affiche tous ses textes (fichiers, édition, ...) ainsi que les outils, en caractères minuscules (h environ 1.5 mm ! voir copie d'écran) alors que ce n'est pas le cas pour l'écran de l'Organiseur. Après de nombreuses recherches personnelles, j'ai contacté aujourd'hui, par téléphone, le service dépannage d'Adobe qui n'a pas pu régler le problème. Quelqu'un a t'il fait le même constat sur son Editeur ? Que faire ? Merci pour vos conseils.

I have installed Elements 2013 on a brand new top of the line gaming computer.  Organizer loads superfast and Editor is quick too, BUT, it takes over a minute before I can start using it.  Once I can use it, it seems to be fine.  My computer used Windows11.  Does anyone know why this is happening?

I am attempting to print a 5x7 photo on an 8.5x11 sheet of photo paper. What I want is to be able to orient the photo in a landscape position and the paper in a portrait position, and place it at the top of the page so that I can later print another 5x7 photo below it on the same sheet. No matter what I select, it always places the 5x7 in the same orientation as the sheet of paper, and I cannot figure out how to change the bounding box so the I can orient the photo differently on the sheet. I hate to waste all that perfectly good (and expensive) photo paper.I am using Elements 9 with an Epson Stylus Photo R3000. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I installed Elements 2018 from a disc version a long time ago. For the last 3 weeks, the software has been asking me for the licence after starting. When I enter the serial number, Photoshop starts. But the next time I start it, the licensing timer keeps running and I am still offered to test the software. A new installation did not solve the problem. In short: I have a disc version of the software with the serial number printed on it, but the number has no effect.

À la suite du téléchargement de la version iOS High Sierra, il m'est impossible d'installer mon logiciel Photoshop Elements 12. Je tourne en rond avec Adobe qui me demande de valider sans cesse les numéros de série que je possède. Une boîte s'ouvre (ci-jointe) pour me dire que je ne suis pas branchée à Internet!!!! Que puis-je faire? J'aimerais beaucoup utilisé mon logiciel...je ne veux pas à avoir à l'acheter à nouveau!

Re elements 2022:  I have the new Canon R7 Mirrorless, taking images in RAW.  The Elements Organizer will NOT allow me to import the RAW images and gives me error message that the immages are ..."in a format that cannot be included in Elements Organizer..."  These same images were able to be imported into Photoshop as well as Lightroom, but I use Elements as my preferred program.  Therefore the images are good.  What is solution to use elements 2022 for these RAW images?????

Moving PSE15 from one device to another, second device will not activate as limit has been exceeded, yet if I look at my account there are 0 activated devices. I have removed PSE15 from the first device so the account is correct, there are no activated devices. So why the error and how do I get it fixed?

I have a Mac Apple M1 and i can't use Adobe Photoshop elements 15 anymore? Is Adobe working to solve that problem??

I have an Imac running IOS 11.7.1 I am using Elements 2023. There are two bugs I am encountering. When lighting shadows, I have to toggle the preview box twice to see the result. It works but takes an extra stroke to see the result. The other issue when using the Spot healing brush tool, it sometimes slows to a crawl over what you are trying to heal. Other than that all is well. Any ideas?

Bonjour,Suite à un reboot de mon MacBookPro celui-ci a redémarré avec la version macOS Monterey.Avant j'étais sous macOS Catalina et j'avais Adobe Photoshop Éléments 15.Suite à cette mise à jour, je n'ai pas réussi à remettre mon ancienne version et j'ai donc dû investir dans la version Adobe Photoshop Éléments 2022 que j'ai acheté via App Store, car sur le site Adobe je n'ai jamais réussi à trouver comment acheter cette version malgré la possibilité de le télécharger.Donc j'en viens maintenant à mon problème, je ne parviens pas à trouver malgré mon achat le numéro de série afin de l'enregistrer officiellement sur le site d'Adobe.Pour info je possède un compte Adobe depuis 2016.Si quelqu'un peut m'aider, merci d'avance.

I had installed these two tools, Adobe Photoshop Element 14 and Adobe First Element 14, on two PCs, including a desktop PC and a laptop, both running Windows 10. I gave my laptop to one of my children but failed to disable these two software first before removing them from Windows. I now have a new laptop on which I want to reinstall these two tools, but I encounter an impossibility, my installation keys are refused by the system on the grounds that the number of machines that can use this software is exceeded.   I used, after the fact, the special Adobe cleaning tool "AdobeCreativecloudCleanerTool" on the PC given to my son, but without result as far as I am concerned. Is there a solution that can help me?     [Branched from unrelated thread about PSE 2012 by moderator.]
