PSE 2022 won't open dng files

Currrently running Catalina on my Mac and thus upgraded to Elements 2022. I want to remove the old application from my Mac but the unistaller won't work. How do I remove the application and all associated files?

Daraufhin habe ich die neue Version wieder deinstalliert und bin zur vorherigen Version 2020 zurückgekehrt. Jetzt lässt mir die blöde Update-Aufforderung beim Öffnen des Programms nur die Alternativen eines sofortigen Updates oder das automatische Updating beim Schließen der alten Version. Wie kriege ich dieses Fenster endgültig weg? Ich kann und will in absehbarer Zeit nicht updaten! Muss ich das Programm und damit Adobe komplett vergessen? Zudem fotografiere ich so wenig, dass ein Abonnement für mich nicht in Frage kommen wird (Früher hatte ich den Photoshop von Version 3 bis zur Umstellung auf das Abonnement auf die CC-Version und seitdem Lizenzen alles PSElements-Versionen gekauft! Soll ich also zu Gimp oder Affinity abwandern?)

Thanks to various threads here I was able to locate the folders where the Organizer Slide Show creator stores slideshow theme data.  If I would like to have more than three options for slideshow title backgrounds under a particular theme (e.g. Pan and Zoom).  Can I simply copy a title image and corresponding thumbnail from another theme folder into the pan and zoom theme folder?  I am reluctant to mess around in these folders without inquiring first.

Bestaat er een versie van photoshop elements voor mac (mac 2021 mac Os Monterey)in nederlands.Dit werd vorig jaar aangekondigd, maar ik kan het nergens vinden. 

My practice has been to edit a photo, including resizing, then apply sharpening as the last step.  Now, I just noticed Camera Raw applies sharpening (default value, 40) before importing into the Photo Editor.  WHICH WOULD BE BEST:  a) as I have done, let Camera Raw apply its default sharpening, then I again sharpen as last editing step;  b) set Camera Raw sharpening value to zero (0 - no sharpening), then perform all sharpening as last photo editing step;  or, c) Set Camera Raw to a desirable degree of sharpening, and do no more sharpening in Photo Editor ???PLEASE ADVISE 

Premiere Elements Organizer's slideshow creator has some nice title templates. Is there any way to import one of your own images to serve as a title template?

I am running PSE 2021 on imac monterey.  when i open PSE to the home screen and click on one of the new creations, the home screen closes.  If i click on the home screen from withiin the organizer or editor, home will open but as soon as i click on one of the creations, home screen closes however the editor or organizer will remain open

I am trying to activate PS Elements 15 on a new computer.  The last computer I had it installed on has been wiped by myself.  In my account I have no activated devices but I get "The serial number is already in use by the maximum allowed computers".  How do I resolve this?  There doesn't seem to be a way for a non-business user without a cloud subscription to talk to support these days.Now I just tried again to re-enter the serial and it's telling me that it's expired or was illegally acquired!  This is a legal key that I purchased from a reputable store several years ago, it's attached to my adobe account and now they're telling me it's illegal?

I tried to convert my PSE2018 Catalog to PSE2022 on a Win10 PC. It contains over 23k items and the conversion fails at aprox. 57% with an error. It says I shall repair the catalog. If I do 2018 says there is no error, but I can force the repair which ends succesfully. But it does not help for the conversion. I found the hint to copy the catalog folder and delete the thumb cache file. Also not successful. I search on a person's name-tag, and approx 200 thumbnails are displayed.  I click on one, and a white check appears in a blue field in the lower right corner.  But I see no information regarding this image.  If I could learn metadata or the name of the JPG I could find the file on a hard drive.  What navigation will yield desired information?

The tool works on some faces and not on others. The message "face is too small" appears. This happens with images from the same shoot. i.e. camera settings and lighting are all the same. Is there a fix or work around for this?Thank you.

In PSE 2022, how can I dock the color panel above the layers panel on the right of the workspace? When I click on the current colors below the tools on the left the color picker opens and I can drag it round the screen, but I cannot find a way to dock it in the right hand panel. Thank you for any advice

I have the disc drive for Elements 4.0. I installed it hoping that I could update it to a more modern version, but I haven't yet been able to figure out how. If anyone knows how (if it's even possible), I would apreciate the help!

Hi.  I have had photoshop elements on my PC for over 2 years.  It has not let me use the photo editor for the past 3 days.  It first says i need to sign in.  When i click on that, it says I need to update my system or browser.  I have windows 11 and the latest Chrome browswer.  Nothing i have tried, including the troubleshooting on the adobe site, will work. Please help, its driving me mad

Reported to support community 17th June. Suddenly got error code 16 on opening 2022 Photoshop Elements. Have seen a link to check settings, but none of these required changing for permissions, etc.. PE is is not useable at present, grateful for your support and further suggestions please? Thank you

I use photoshop elements 13 and since I have my new camera canon 6d mark ll I can't open RAW images. I installed the latest camera RAW update but still nothing. What can I do?

I've had Elements 14 for a few years and use it weekly.  Either my Windows 10 or Dell system did an update and now Elements 14 Photo Editor will not open.  It acts like it wants to open as it goes through the steps but then just stops.  No error messages.  I've also tried opening the photo editor only from the program folder and it does the same thing.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times with the same results.  VERY Frustrated!  Even called Adobe and after waiting for 30 minutes, they tell me they can't help me over the phone because it's not the 2018 version!  Any idea what else I can try?  What about an alternative program to Adobe?

Buongiorno a tutti, improvvisamente l'app uniforma pelle non funziona più e blocca il sistema costringendomi al riavvio forzato. Ho la versione 2021 per Windows, ho provato a reinstallare Photoshop Elements ma il problema rimane.

After downloading from Camera I am advised that images are locked and can't be deleted from camera. How do I unlock these files/images to delete them?

My cursor disappears when the Elements Organizer 2021 loads.  I have turned off the auto hide feature for the toolbar but does not help. No other posted solutions are helpful.   Using Windows 11               {Title edited by Moderator}

Using Photoshop Elements 2022 with the March upgate. On an Apple Mac Powerbook M1 Max, software 12.4   Elements stopped working this morning, showing Error Code-16. Asking me to remove my current software and reinstall Elements 2022 again.  How do I do this, without having to make another payments.  Grateful for help please?   Thank you.       {Title edited by Moderator}

I have been having trouble importing media into PSE 2020 from my Iphone. Long, long time PSE user. This issue seems to have started wiht PSE20; for sure it has been an issue for at least a year. Some few photos do import, but not consistent. Import screen shows photos to be uploaded, but then errors out, files could not be obtained. I tried to attach a screen shot but it errored out. Computer:Dell xps 13 9310 (new, but thie issue occurred with my old computer also)Windows 11, 16 GB MemoryIphone 13 (Issue also occurred with Iphone 10) Any suggestions? PSE not useful if it will not upload photos. Thanks
