Photoshop Elements

In PSE 2022, how can I dock the color panel above the layers panel on the right of the workspace? When I click on the current colors below the tools on the left the color picker opens and I can drag it round the screen, but I cannot find a way to dock it in the right hand panel. Thank you for any advice

I have the disc drive for Elements 4.0. I installed it hoping that I could update it to a more modern version, but I haven't yet been able to figure out how. If anyone knows how (if it's even possible), I would apreciate the help!

Hi.  I have had photoshop elements on my PC for over 2 years.  It has not let me use the photo editor for the past 3 days.  It first says i need to sign in.  When i click on that, it says I need to update my system or browser.  I have windows 11 and the latest Chrome browswer.  Nothing i have tried, including the troubleshooting on the adobe site, will work. Please help, its driving me mad

Reported to support community 17th June. Suddenly got error code 16 on opening 2022 Photoshop Elements. Have seen a link to check settings, but none of these required changing for permissions, etc.. PE is is not useable at present, grateful for your support and further suggestions please? Thank you

I use photoshop elements 13 and since I have my new camera canon 6d mark ll I can't open RAW images. I installed the latest camera RAW update but still nothing. What can I do?

I've had Elements 14 for a few years and use it weekly.  Either my Windows 10 or Dell system did an update and now Elements 14 Photo Editor will not open.  It acts like it wants to open as it goes through the steps but then just stops.  No error messages.  I've also tried opening the photo editor only from the program folder and it does the same thing.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times with the same results.  VERY Frustrated!  Even called Adobe and after waiting for 30 minutes, they tell me they can't help me over the phone because it's not the 2018 version!  Any idea what else I can try?  What about an alternative program to Adobe?

After downloading from Camera I am advised that images are locked and can't be deleted from camera. How do I unlock these files/images to delete them?

My cursor disappears when the Elements Organizer 2021 loads.  I have turned off the auto hide feature for the toolbar but does not help. No other posted solutions are helpful.   Using Windows 11               {Title edited by Moderator}

Using Photoshop Elements 2022 with the March upgate. On an Apple Mac Powerbook M1 Max, software 12.4   Elements stopped working this morning, showing Error Code-16. Asking me to remove my current software and reinstall Elements 2022 again.  How do I do this, without having to make another payments.  Grateful for help please?   Thank you.       {Title edited by Moderator}

I have been having trouble importing media into PSE 2020 from my Iphone. Long, long time PSE user. This issue seems to have started wiht PSE20; for sure it has been an issue for at least a year. Some few photos do import, but not consistent. Import screen shows photos to be uploaded, but then errors out, files could not be obtained. I tried to attach a screen shot but it errored out. Computer:Dell xps 13 9310 (new, but thie issue occurred with my old computer also)Windows 11, 16 GB MemoryIphone 13 (Issue also occurred with Iphone 10) Any suggestions? PSE not useful if it will not upload photos. Thanks

I just downloaded photoshop elements 12 bundle and when downloading it gave me the choice of using Akamai NetSession Client or other, so I used Akamai.  After installation of photoshop elements, no problem.  After installation of premiere elements, a notice came up from Window Security Alert advising a firewall has blocked features of the program.  Is Akamai NetSession safe?

My Jpg files suddening show up as PSE files and I cannot see what they are. Why?

Hello, I upgraded  from 2016 to Elements 2022 and now some things don't work as well as they should, or at all!Pan and Zoom shows me the whole video clip that was filmed, not just the segment I want to work on, so I have to guess where to put the boxes, check the preview and adjust, time and time again to get the zoom or pan where I want it to be.If I use an old video (not filmed in 4K) as B roll, there is some weird metalic fuzziness on my finished video as it transitions from the old footage back to my new 4K footage. I can't see this in Elements while I'm editing, it only shows once the video is exported.All transitions, like film fade or cross fade, also have the metalic fuzziness on the finished video, but not on the timeline.Any suggestions for how to change these issues would be very gratefully received. 

When I want to open Nikon Z 50 NEF RAW images in Photoshop Elements 2021, no preview thumbnails are showing, just icons that all are the same. Preview thumbnails do show when I want to open Nikon D70 NEF RAW images. What is going on?

Newly installed Photoshop Elements 2022 on new Dell PC running Windows 11.  Downloading pictures directly from Canon R6 camera results in duplicates.  The duplicates have the exact same dimensions, etc but the name is appended with -1.  How can I resolve this irritating and time consuming problem?

It used to be that Elements would automatically search all "watched" files for my photos, but in trying to get all of my photos (saved here and there on my computer) into elements 2019, I cannot find how to get this to happen.  I know I have more photos from 2018 than are showing up in Elements 2018, but I want the program to search for them in my computer. Please advise, 🙂 Laura 

I upgraded from a previous version(s) to PSE22.I still have versions 13,15,18,19 and 20. If I uninstall each of those versions will it delete/uninstall catalogs and/or libraries? Unsure and afraid to mess things up.

Hello, I am assuming that the import function creates copies of the originals, so if I delete from the catalog and remove from the hard drive does the original still remain? The point of the excercise being to remove photos and screenshots entirely. of course I could just experiment, but i'de rather ask first. thanks

HalloIch habe Photo-Shop Elements 9 auf meinem neuen PC installiert, leider kann ich unter Ebene füllen, Inhaltssensitiv nicht auswählen. Auch gibt es Fehlermeldungen beim Aktualisieren, da meine ULR nicht geladen werden könne. Ich habe Photo-Shop Elements 9 gekauft und mit der CD und der Seriennummer installiert. Leider Funktionier nicht alles. Was soll ich nun tun. Freundliche Grüsse Edith 

Computer is Mac with Monterey 12.4 on it. Photoshop Elements 2022 most recent upgrade is stuck on a which screen with application updates in a text bubble near the top. In the middle of the screen is a white circle with spokes around the outside edge. Spokes highlight to give illusion of spinning circle. No other messages displayed. Have been on this screen for over 2 hours.  

Using elements 2021 on windows 10. there was a power failure at my home. Organizer will not open. I researched on what to do and I do not get the options to troubleshoot. I do not get Catalog, Optimize or Repair. I get nothing. Should I uninstal photoshop elements and download again??? What will happen to my files???

Am printing greeting cards using PSE 22 on mac OS 12.4 (monterey). Sometimes printout is a previous image rather than desired and displayed current image. Printer is Epson ET8500. which according to Apple and Epson, driver is current. My document is in psd, but I hide the layers I am not printing.  Both the PSE 22 and print dialog display the desired image. The printer settings for thr correct and incorrect images are slightly different in paper finishes only. One is plain paper, the other premium matte. Not sure where the problem is, PSE, printer or mac. Would appreciate help.

Will the problem be fixed in the near future like with Photoshop 2021 and 2022
