Photoshop Elements

When moving a 6 mg image from PHOTOS to PSE 2021, without using layers to edit it, once I edit it and try to save it, the maximum size is always only 1 mg or less.  What am I doing wrong?

How do I make sure that GPS data (if available) are imported during import of a picture file in Elements Organizer?

The Smart Brush is a very confusing tool for me. Whenever I use it I keep expecting to see the "accept / reject" icons   after I make the selection, but it's not there! I click on the effect preset I want and then make the selection I then have to double-click on the effect in the tool panel to accept it and create the effect. Am I just using it wrong? What say you?--

On the PSE 9 I have Rendering/Lighting_effects. Where is that on the PSE2022?

All of my photos are sorted under albums and album categories with descriptive titles.  This seemed to be the natural way to organize and group my photos.  However, the search function seems to only only finds matches if the album name starts with with the first characters I type.  And the Find function will searh through file names but not album names.  This seems terribly limiting.  For instance: If I have an album named 'Overnight bike ride at Cape Cod with John Jones'  I have to search for 'overnight' , not 'bike ride', not 'Cape Cod', not Jones or John  Am I really supposed to remember exactly what the title is for 300+ albums?  I must be missing something.  Would appreciate help if anyone can.

Good morning,My old Windows 10 laptop, where I used PSE 15, broke down so I downloaded and installed PSE15 on my new Windows 10 laptop, using the link that I found here:http://trials.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/legacy/99CABBAC-C975-4A06-8D99-064C6871EE80/PSE/15/win64/PhotoshopElements_15_LS30_win64.exeInstallation appeared to run normally and my Licence Number/Serial Number was accepted.I opened PSE15 on the new laptop, opened Photo Editor and it showed the following Error Message:  So I closed PSE15 on the new laptop and opened PSE15 on the old laptop, opened Photo Editor and went to Help -> Sign Out and signed out, as I am told that Sign Out is the same as Deactivate.Then I closed  (but did not uninstall) PSE15 on the old laptop and opened PSE15 again on the new laptop, opened Photo Editor and it still gave me the same Error Message, see above. I tried several times and also tried Restart but it made no difference.So I cannot use my PSE15 - help, please![For feedback th

After reinstalling Photoshop Elements 2022 (20.0), and upgrading my RAM to 32GB, it uses a lot of CPU, and will let me select a photo, but I can't use any of the top items (File, Edit, Find, View, Help).  It just puts a box around the item, but doesn't bring up the srop-down to select an action.  I'm not even sure what it is doing that is constantly using 25-50% of my CPU.

Help would be appreciated - I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 - I only use it to download from my camera my photos.   1. Each time I look at my photos I am told I need to dowload update. I do it on exit each time. Then when I go in again it tell me to get update.  What is going wrong or am I doing wrong? 2. My inetrnet speed is very slow (old copper line) and I had this new laptop last August and it runs Windows 11.  It took me awhile to realise down in the bottom right hand corner the 'Cloud' was operating. So! I learnt the hard way as I thought something was wrong with new laptop as it was SO slow.  I have now learnt to disable the Cloud.  3. The result of stopping the cloud was a lot of files had been transferred over - which for me is a nuisnace. But - now my question is when I look at my phtos there is a little box in top left corner with a question mark. If I click on photo it is trying to locate it - but I guess it is up on the Cloud

My computer died, but fortunately I had a full PSE 2022 backup, which included all the photos.I keep my photos in G:\OneDrive/Photos, so I have all the photos availale on the new computer, but want to recover the tags and facial recogniton..  The backup is in a folder on another disk F:/Photoshop/Backup.  When I did the recovery of the catalog, I selected keep original folder structure.  Now orgnaniser shows all of my phtos, but their location is G:\Photoshop\OneDrive\Photos, which is not in OneDrive.  So I have two sets of photos!  How can I sort this out and retain the tags and facial recognition? I still have the backup folders so if I need to do the recovery again.  I could move the photos, but that may break the metadata.   Grateful for any advice.

I have been using PSE since version 12. Starting in ver. 2022, the app was tied to Creative Cloud. Not a feature I like or use. It seems like there is an update to Creative Cloud every other day! I get really tired of all these interuptions in my work day. Is it really necessary for Adobe to update this service so often?

When I installed PSE2019 in my new computer, it imported many, many keywords that were setup by me on my old computer.  I think there may literally be over a thousand random words, perhaps as a result of it importing photos/graphics from screenshots, etc that I didn't know were on my computer.  I was able to identify and delete those images - but I think their keywords remain (with no images). Is there any way to delete multiple keywords at once?  So far I have only been able to select them one at a time to delete them - which means it might be a never ending task.   Appreciate any insights, help. 

Elements 2022 won't allow changes to RAW files to be saved on Monterey, even after the recent update. Does anyone have an answer? 

I am using macOS Monterey 12.4. All my photos are in the related Apple Photos. Whenever I edit a photo, I would like to click Edit/.../ and choose today's installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022. However, it doesn't apprear as option. How can I get such an extension for Apple Photos?

I purchased and downloaded Elements 2022 a last week with no bother. I then subscribed to Lightroom/Photoshop and now elements will not work. I get a message to uninstal/re-instal elements but when I do, I get an error code 16 message each time. I have tried about three times now with the same results. Please help.

I run Elements 18 and since my pc updated windows 10 I cannot print using Elements. I had had to reinstall my Canon iP8750 as I wasn't able to print using any software after the update. I reinstalled the printer and  It prints in other software (Paint)  . When I try printing with Elements  It comes up with a dialogue to say it cannot open the printer. . Can anyone help me to get back to printing with Elements please - I make handmade books and cannot work without it!

I have been using Elements photo editor 14 and all the sudden it wont open. The organizer opens but the editor doesn't. I have a Mac with Big Sur operating system.Thanks. 

Is there away to delete entire Organizer catalog in Elemenys 2021? My system I-mac 24" OS Monterey

Editor will not import files from Organiser (2022) and leaves the thumnail as a torn sheet of grey paper.Any suggestions?Thanks

I cannot download Elements 19 to my new laptop. Already have it on my desktop. Get message that OS or browser is not supported? Do I need to upgrade to a later version of Elements? 

On 4K Photoshop Elements Editor 2022 menu fonts are way to big  (windows, bought from microsoft store)

I'm running PSE9 on an iMac running Sierra.I have a nice shot of a couple, sitting in a nice car, with a background of unattractive junk, including a car.  I think I would like to put a heavy blur on that background so that the viewer might see something that looks like a car (maybe) and a yard full of unidentifiable items (kinda) -- as opposed to feathering out all the ugly stuff to a plain white with no character at all.  I should be able to take the car out of the windshield using the Clone Stamp to copy the driveway.I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Photoshop Elements 14 tells me the display profile needs to be calibrated but not how. Does anyone know how to calibrate the display?

I have a lot of scanned documents - jpg files - they were scanned and sent to me so I don't have the original to scan properly - the original must have been coloured paper I am guessing - it came to me very grey with the text barely visible. How do I fix this - I'm not an expert with Layers (don't really utilise that much at all) and I use Photoshop Elements 2021.  I've tried looking for videos to show me but they mostly focus on removing background from a large picture in the scene - not text.
