Photoshop Elements

I started a 30 day trial for Photoshop Elements 2020 and in the meantime I BOUGHT it at Best Buy and installed it. Everything was fine until the trial period was over. Then nothing worked. I'm told I have to have monthly subscription.  And that it's not supported.  So I have a disc that's no good.

Two years ago I bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019 & Premiere Elements 2019 for my Mac. I donloaded the Elements program from the disk but does not open. I contacted Adobe "support several times" but got none. Given that, can anybody recommend a similar photo processing program that actually works?

Whenever I select an image and then look at the enlarged version using F11, if I exit that view Organiser deselects the image and defaults back to the first image in the folder. Sometimes it defaults back to the library view. It often does the same thing when using the editor.

My Photoshop Elements 18, recently re-installed to run on PC with WIN11 update,  has given great trouble with the "update" offered. the update hung and uninstall would not run either. A cold boot, uninstall of application, fresh installation. It took me most of the day to get these steps in the right order. I have now decided to use the application without running the update. Any suggestions graefully received

Let's say I have created an "event" around Christmas 2018. I select the photos that seem appropriate and create the event. Then, a little later, I find more Christmas photos from 2018. There is a laborious process for adding them to the existing event, in which PSE shows me every photo in my 27,000 photo collection, including those that I have already assigned to Christmas 2018. This requires me to know exactly which photos are already in the existing event. Hmm. So, I avoid that headache and go back to my photos and I "create" another event with exactly the same name. PSE warns me that an event with that name already exists, but does it ask me if I want to assign the photos there? Nope. It creates another Christmas 2018 event. How can I merge these please?

All I need to do is drag and drop photos within the organiser in Elements 19, so frustrating! I have tried the solution on Google using Enable LUA within my computer settings but it still puts a blue square around the photo as if I want to enlarge it. I've seen other solutions but none seem to work

Photoshop elements 15 is not recognising the printer. It started with shutting down the program when I went to print. Read some other posts, did as suggested & then it quit shutting down but then would not recognize that there was a printer. Back to posts to problem solve, so I uninstalled & reinstalled printer, uninstalled, reinstalled Photoshop, still same problem. Just for reference this all worked fine a coouple of weeks ago. Computer recognizes printer & prints ok from other sources. Help appreciated, please & thank you.

HOW CAN I ADD TEXT UNDER OVAL SHAPE USING ELEMENTS 13?

I am using PS Elements 2022 on Mac OS 10.15.7. Any lighting adjustments I make, levels, etc., I see the preview but when I click OK it reverts to the original.  I cannot make the correction stick.  I have reset the preferences and re-launched, no change.  I have tried with different file formats.  Assistance, please.

I have just installed PSE 2022 and I am now trying to install more than one plugin. I used 3 plugins with PSE 2019 but 2022 only allows me to install one. If I attempt to add another I just get the last one that I am trying to install. Is there a way to install more thasn one plugin?

When using Quick Selection during the process of removing the background from an image, it will always leave a bit of the background after deleting the background, forming a sort of outline around the selection. How do I clean up a quick selection so that it is clean, removing ALL of the background? Below are two pictures showing what I mean - the top one shows my quick selection, and the bottom shows the result after removing the background. You can see that a slight "outline" is left from background of the original picture.I apologize if this has been addressed a million times before, but I could not find a solution to my problem using the keywords I'm familiar with. Thank you!

My XQD card reader is not being recognized in the IMPORT function to load into Elements?

Sur mon iMac 27 pouces de 2020 avec Monterey 12.2.1, j'ai Photoshop Elements 21.Beaucoup de problèmes à l'ouvrir à la suite de la mise à jour à partir de Big Sur.Aujourd'hui, cela marche bien mais il faut faire ce qui suit :1- La veille, j'éteins mon Mac, en cochant dans l'appli du dock sur "Ouvrir avec la cession"puis je ferme entièrement Photoshop Elements 21. 2- Le lendemain j'allume mon Mac, et j'attends longtemps que l'appli s'ouvre en 2 fenêtres.Bonne chanceBoubou

I'm digitizing photos from negatives that are 20 years old and a number of them are damaged as you might imagine. Several of them have the damage across the sky and I've been trying to fix with the Clone Stamp, but it's difficult as matching the sky all across the negative is difficult.  Is there an easier way to fix them?  

I have been using Photoshop Elements 12 for some time. Apparently out of the blue, I started getting the above notice. It was followed by "Please connect to the internet and retry". However I am connected to the internet, and the computer's clock has the correct date and time.How do I best go about resolving this?              Thanks very much.Tim

I purchased photoshop elements 9 and it was installed on my desktop. Lost the desktop and all info in a house fire.Anything I can do?

I am using PSE 2021 for photo editing. I have a photo from a trip I took that someone sent me. When I try to enlarge it, it is pixelated. Is there anyway I can fix this? Thank you Helen ated.

How to find photos in the catalogue that have not had captions added.

I've tried various technics turning off all sorts of services.  A hard wired connection isn't possible for me (I'm using a power network solution but also tried wifi).  Any idea how to get Elements to install? I plan on asking for a refund if not. It seems crazy they make you go through so many hoops when it should just work.

I am trying to install Photoshop Elements 2021 on a second computer. I have it working on my desktop, but would also like to be able to use it when I travel.  I get a message "the serial number you entered is invalid".  It's not.  I checked.  Is it not allowed to have my software on two machines?  All I can find online repeatedly loops me back to purchase options and I will not buy it twice.  I don't want to waste my time on a phone call if I'm only going to be told I can't run this software on more than one machine.  

In PS Elements left clicking a brush followed by Shift+Click in another location will draw a straight line. In Lightroom its possible to left click the adjustment brush, then enlarge the brush with the arrow keys, then Shift + Click to draw a straight line cone. This is useful, for example, when painting on dramatic light rays.  I would love to use a brush to draw a straight line cone in PS Elements using the shift + click method. I have tried withgout success. Is this possible? Your advice would be appreciated. Kind regardsChris

upgraded from windows 8.1 to 10 and lost Photoshop Element 12 and Acrobat 11.  Need them for Windows 10...need link to restore them - any one know where i can download them?  Adobe cust svc gave me this link after verfying i did indeed own the products

For the past few days I can't edit any of my photos, the program keeps doing its own thing.  I even tried to open just one photo to edit and put my watermark on it, the program keeps opening up every picture in my folder and putting watermark on every single picture and it doesn't stop.  I have to forch it shut down in task management.  I restarted computer, still having same problem.  I ran virus scan, still having same problem.  Any suggestions?  Thanks Joy
