Photoshop Elements

Here's the scenario. You've taken a photo of a DVD case and want to crop everything else out so all you see is the front cover. You want to be very precise, so you've zoomed in 600-700%. You selected the cropping tool. Finally, you click-and-drag a pixel-perfect selection from the top-left corner, with the intention of selecting everything down to the bottom right of the DVD case. When I do this, the screen scrolls down at an AGONIZINGLY SLOW pace. It takes me like 5 minutes to scroll my cropping selection box all the way from left to right... and ANOTHER 5 minutes to scroll from top to bottom. Is there ANY way to make the screen scroll faster when selecting a cropping area?    

I have an old Photoshop Elements 2.0 and I don't know how to use it because I am a beginner. When I go to YouTube in order to find some tutorials, all I can find are tutorials for the newer versions, so I am still in the dark. Can anyone steer me to some instructional videos for such an ancient version of Elements? Any help would be much appreciated. 

Dear Adobe Technical Support, I have been in Adobe Chat and phone conversations with Adobe Customer Care and Technical Support last year and I just want to pass on the message that Adobe Photoshop Elements (PE) 2022 does NOT work with Macs running Bootcamp dual-boot Windows 10 PC and Mac Monterey OS.  However, PE 2019 DID work with Bootcamp before the pandemic.  Now PE 2019 does not work with Bootcamp after uninstall and reinstall. Adobe Tech Support knows of this issue and said that it will take 3-6 months to issue a downloadable patch for PE 2022 to work and run with Bootcamp.  I spend a lot of time using the Windows 10 side of my Mac with Bootcamp since I'm accustomed to the PC and the Mac is super-reliable. Please pass this message to Adobe for an update.  I know that it's COVID-19 and software engineers and programmers are working from home, but there are a lot of Mac users running Bootcamp and using the Windows 10 side on their Macs.  So fa

I spent a a lot of time setting up photos in numbered sequence but when loading to a photo album in PS Elements 2019 the photos load out of sequence.  This is a pita.  Why does this happen and is there a fix for this issue??

Hello.  I am trying to install PSE 2019 on a new PC.  I keep getting a message telling me I need to update my PC or browser.  The PC is brand new, running Windows 10 Pro 64 bit; I downloaded MS Edge foe a browser as prompted; I signed out of PSE on my old PC.  This error message happens after I open the exe file.  I should add that my Adobe account shows PSE 2019 as one of my products.  Can someone help??Thank you!

In my specific case, photoshop elements (2021) is not working on the latest mac OS. What I'm also reading is the latest PS Elements (22') was not working.  So I wonder, what is the supported lifespan of an 'elements' product? 

Regularly used Photoshop Elements 2020 to download photos from camera saved on a thumb drive. Suddenly Monday PE could not see the thumb drive or its contents. A trial copy of PE 2021 has the same problem. The thumb drive is accessible to other programs. I just transferred an image from it to Facebook. Another copy of PE 2020 on another computer can open these images, but it is slower. 

I have a 5K and 8K monitor and the fonts and icons are so small I almost need a magnifying glass to see them.  I've gone into the preferences and raised the fonts to their max. but they're still way too small.  I have Capture One and the icon sizes are a normal size.  Any ideas?  I know this is an issue and I'm baffled why Adobe can't fix this when one of their competitors have it right.Thanks in advance.

I am trying to clean up a large number of photos with unwanted shadows etc and put them on a white background. I have created the layers but can find no means of creating a white background (just about every other combination of shape and colour seems possible). I am new to this so am probably missing the simplest of solutions. Can anyone help? Thank you.

My 2022 Photoshop Elements does not find ny Canon 6700 scanner.  I have tried reloading the scanner software and the Elements installation.  NO luck.

I started a 30 day trial for Photoshop Elements 2020 and in the meantime I BOUGHT it at Best Buy and installed it. Everything was fine until the trial period was over. Then nothing worked. I'm told I have to have monthly subscription.  And that it's not supported.  So I have a disc that's no good.

Two years ago I bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019 & Premiere Elements 2019 for my Mac. I donloaded the Elements program from the disk but does not open. I contacted Adobe "support several times" but got none. Given that, can anybody recommend a similar photo processing program that actually works?

Whenever I select an image and then look at the enlarged version using F11, if I exit that view Organiser deselects the image and defaults back to the first image in the folder. Sometimes it defaults back to the library view. It often does the same thing when using the editor.

My Photoshop Elements 18, recently re-installed to run on PC with WIN11 update,  has given great trouble with the "update" offered. the update hung and uninstall would not run either. A cold boot, uninstall of application, fresh installation. It took me most of the day to get these steps in the right order. I have now decided to use the application without running the update. Any suggestions graefully received

Let's say I have created an "event" around Christmas 2018. I select the photos that seem appropriate and create the event. Then, a little later, I find more Christmas photos from 2018. There is a laborious process for adding them to the existing event, in which PSE shows me every photo in my 27,000 photo collection, including those that I have already assigned to Christmas 2018. This requires me to know exactly which photos are already in the existing event. Hmm. So, I avoid that headache and go back to my photos and I "create" another event with exactly the same name. PSE warns me that an event with that name already exists, but does it ask me if I want to assign the photos there? Nope. It creates another Christmas 2018 event. How can I merge these please?

All I need to do is drag and drop photos within the organiser in Elements 19, so frustrating! I have tried the solution on Google using Enable LUA within my computer settings but it still puts a blue square around the photo as if I want to enlarge it. I've seen other solutions but none seem to work

Photoshop elements 15 is not recognising the printer. It started with shutting down the program when I went to print. Read some other posts, did as suggested & then it quit shutting down but then would not recognize that there was a printer. Back to posts to problem solve, so I uninstalled & reinstalled printer, uninstalled, reinstalled Photoshop, still same problem. Just for reference this all worked fine a coouple of weeks ago. Computer recognizes printer & prints ok from other sources. Help appreciated, please & thank you.

HOW CAN I ADD TEXT UNDER OVAL SHAPE USING ELEMENTS 13?

I am using PS Elements 2022 on Mac OS 10.15.7. Any lighting adjustments I make, levels, etc., I see the preview but when I click OK it reverts to the original.  I cannot make the correction stick.  I have reset the preferences and re-launched, no change.  I have tried with different file formats.  Assistance, please.

I have just installed PSE 2022 and I am now trying to install more than one plugin. I used 3 plugins with PSE 2019 but 2022 only allows me to install one. If I attempt to add another I just get the last one that I am trying to install. Is there a way to install more thasn one plugin?

When using Quick Selection during the process of removing the background from an image, it will always leave a bit of the background after deleting the background, forming a sort of outline around the selection. How do I clean up a quick selection so that it is clean, removing ALL of the background? Below are two pictures showing what I mean - the top one shows my quick selection, and the bottom shows the result after removing the background. You can see that a slight "outline" is left from background of the original picture.I apologize if this has been addressed a million times before, but I could not find a solution to my problem using the keywords I'm familiar with. Thank you!

My XQD card reader is not being recognized in the IMPORT function to load into Elements?

Sur mon iMac 27 pouces de 2020 avec Monterey 12.2.1, j'ai Photoshop Elements 21.Beaucoup de problèmes à l'ouvrir à la suite de la mise à jour à partir de Big Sur.Aujourd'hui, cela marche bien mais il faut faire ce qui suit :1- La veille, j'éteins mon Mac, en cochant dans l'appli du dock sur "Ouvrir avec la cession"puis je ferme entièrement Photoshop Elements 21. 2- Le lendemain j'allume mon Mac, et j'attends longtemps que l'appli s'ouvre en 2 fenêtres.Bonne chanceBoubou
