Photoshop Elements

I am playing with thte different tools trying to get to know them I am a first time user, and I am trying to smooth the skin in a picture, but I keep getting theis message,"face is to small for face smoothing" But the picture(face) is not small. ONce I was able to get the circl to show up ,but it didn't work anyway. what Am i missing?

Hi, when I'm trying to update Photoshop Elements, the circle loads forever. I have try to close my Firewall and to close other Adobe applications from Activity Monitor. I'm on a Mac OS Monterey (latest version).

I'm still using an older system and discovered I cannot use P.Elements 2022. If I try to buy it there is a discount of 20% instead for the older P.Elements 2021 it's full priceWhy?What is going to happen if I buy the 2022 version and use the registration on the 2021?Is it going to work?

I have been using PE since 2017 with no problems. Suddenly I am asked to login to my Adobe account and then enter a valid serial number, which I did. A message appeared stating the serial number is Invalid. I chatted with an Adobe agent who said I had to go this route as my version is no longer supported by live chat/phone support. The agent did verify that the serial number is the one listed in my account on the Adobe website. The software was purchased from TechSoup (a non-profit software provider.) How to I solve this problem? Thank You.

I deactivated the topic in the organizer, but it keeps starting automatically. After some hours, it uses upto 16 GB Ram which causes several programs to crash.How can I deactivate this service?

Hi all,I use PSE 2019.If I open "Lichter und Schatten" the dialog window is not displayed within my main screen.I added a second monitor, where I could see it. Then I moved it via mouse into the main screen und closed it. I hoped it will appear in the main window again when repopening the function. But it diddn't. It appeared again out side the main screen. So it diddn't remember the last posiotion it was closed at.What can I do to get the dialog back on the main screen again?Kind regardsManfred

Hello, I own PS elements 7.0, recently I went to download it onto my new device, and when asked for the serial number, it said that it was invalid. However it was the code given to me under my adobe products tab. So my question is, is there anyway I can download it and activate it onto my new device or am I SOL? Thanks

I downloaded a PDF to Photoshop to print it asked me for gray scale or color options I can't remember what I chose but everything is printing in blue including non PDF color files. How do I get setting back to normal to print all colors????  

I want to try the haze removal as I have never used it before and don't have a clue on what I am doing.Anyway when I go to that option the whole list is printed in light gray print and not black.I  try to open this but nothing happens.What am I doing wrong?Hope I do not get confused with your answer as this stuff is hard to comprehend.Thanks to anyone who can help me.

After updating to Windows 11, I get error message for both Photoshop and Premier Elements 2019 that the operating system is no longer supported. Is this true? 

Nach Aufrüstung des PC (ausschließlich Einbau eines neuen Prozessors) verlangt die Software (Photoshop Elements 14) eine neue Aktivierung. Bei Eingabe der Seriennummer erhalte ich die Meldung „Die Seriennummer wird bereits von der maximal zulässigen Anzahl Computer verwendet. Sie müssen einen anderen Computer deaktivieren, um dieses Produkt zu verwenden.“ In meinem Account habe ich den dort gelisteten Computer deaktiviert mit der Meldung „Deaktivierung erfolgreich“ und der Anzeige "keine aktivierten Geräte vorhanden". Dennoch erhalte ich nach wie vor dieselbe Meldung. Nach einem Neustart erscheint wieder der bereits deaktivierte Computer als aktiviert. Dasselbe Spiel von vorne. Im Ergebnis keine Aktivierung möglich.

Ich kann die RAW Dateien meiner Sony A7 IV im Photoshop Elements 2021 nicht bearbeiten, obwohl ich die aktuellen Updates habe - bin etwas ratlos und enttäuscht. Von der Sony Alpha 6300 ging es problemlos..... 

Until today, I could easily use Adobe Photoshop Elements (APE) 2019 without any problems, on my desktop as well as on my laptop. I am using it almost daily, already for about two years.However, suddenly today, there is no way I can access any .RW2 file on my desktop anymore!? I can access any map and file, as long as there is no .RW2 file in this map. And I can also access and process any .RW2 file on my laptop (on which APE 2020 is installed).I tested copying a few files via WiFi from my desktop to my laptop. That worked. And I could easily open and process  them with APE (2020) on my laptop. So, the files are not damaged.This suggests (I think) that something suddenly changed within my APE 2019. But what could this be??? Does anyone have any suggestion about the cause of this and a possible solution? Any help woul dbe greatly appreciated!Erna 

Hi, I have used Photoshop Elements 12 successfully for many years. Now I cannot open it. It asks me to sign in for a free trial. I cannot do that. Please help

Just upgraded to Elements 2022 running on Windows 11. Upgraded because Organiser Menu wouldn't work in 2021 version, then discovered it was because I was "hiding the taskbar" in Windows. Never mind!Something I've been thinking about for a while in Organiser. I shoot all my images in Nikon RAW (NEF) and convert to jpg, etc. for family viewing! Organiser shows both images in it's grid and I have to be careful, when deciding to try enhancing an image, that I'm starting from the RAW and not an already processed image. So, I know I can go down "My Folders" and find the RAW images, but I wonder if having two catalogues - one for RAW and one for processed - would help or just confuse matters totally. Can't decide! Does anybody have any other suggestions?Thanks.

I had Elements 11 installed on my laptop but then did a complete re-installation of Windows 10. Now, when I try to re-install Elements from the disk, I'm asked for a numerical code but none of the many numbers on the Adobe package box are accepted as valid. Which one should work? How many digits and an indication of the appearance of the number, or its place on the box labels would be useful. Terry

I am trying to restore a backup catalogue on a single flash drive to PSE13. The flash drive contains an original full backup and two later incremental backups. Despite selecting Restore from Hard Drive/Other Volume, PSE prompts that 3 disks will be required. There are no other on screen instructions. And when I restore, only the most recent incremental backup is restored. What am I doing wrong?

Hey, I have an issue with Photoshop Elements 13 (I know, old version, but, works fine under Windows 10): I batch process some images, with .jpeg file extension. I apply a picture resize for all images, so that they're all 600 pixels high. Apart from that, I set no other settings for the batch processing (no file conversion done either). After the batch processing, all files have a .jpeg.jpg file extension.  Why does PS Elements add the .jpg file extension, and doesn't keep the .jpeg file extension?

Photoshop Elements Editor 2021 freezes during launch on my new M1 MacBook Pro 16 at adding extension... Multiprocessor Support. This one has Monterey preinstalled, of course. In preparation, I upgraded to Monterey 12.1 on the older system yesterday by clean install with recovery using Migration Assistant. Photoshop Elements worked fine afterwards, so I'm pretty sure the new hardware is at least part of the issue. I found several posts that refer to similar issues, but some of the facts don't quite match on the posts I've found. Either the system version is earlier (mine is Monterey 12.1), or the version of Photoshop Elements Editor is later (mine is the latest for PSE 2021, I think: 19.0 - 20210811.m.158081). Is this a problem that already has a remedy or that might have a remedy in the near future? I took advantage of the Adobe promotion on this product last summer, and replacing an aging Mac in the household is now making me regret it. At least Acorn runs fine. An
