Polygonal lasso tool auto-completes unexpectedly. But if I rotate the image 90 to left or right, the problem gets solved ! If I rotate it back to its original position, the problem still persists. So strange. At the top of the picture, where it also automatically closes, the lasso does not choose. Lasso doesn't work in that area. I have seen many similar situation complaints for Lasso tool on Google for the last 10 years. It's not really understandable that it's still not permanently resolved yet.Any ideas?Thanks!tried the followings * marked/ unmarked - Edit > Preferences > Performance >use graphic processor for improving performance * Although it is an Nvidia RTX card, the PSE does not see it either. I just purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022, and wanted to use the slideshow feature to compare photos side by side. However, the main menu bar at the top is always disabled - File, Edit, Find, View, and Help.Has anyone else dealt with this?

I am trying to save a photo Cropped from the Original back ino the same folder where the Original is located in OneDrive>Pictures in Win10/11.  I am getting an error message (see attached screenshot) that says "File Not Found" for the Cropped jpg file.  Help in understanding and fixing this will be appreciated as I am hoping to save all my edited photos this way.  I am a new user of Photohop Elements 2020 but have some expereince with OneDrive and Win10/11.  Thanks!

I am still trying to figure out how to activate photoshop elements 2019 on windows 10 with my cd key. After a long research of how figuring out to install PSE 2019 on windows 10 I am running again in the exact same issue which I had when I was trying to install PSE 2019. When I try to open the software a message from Adobe pops up telling me that it requires a registration, so I click on login now and I get the following error message "Update required - Your browser or operating system is no longer supported. You may need to install the latest updates to your operating system. Learn more". I am not able to activate the product and I can't get further then error message, PSE 2019 doesn't even open without the required registration. Here are the things I have tried:- Updated my windows, also all optional updates- Downloaded Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019- Downloaded and installed creative cloud desktop- I own PSE 2019 on cd,

I currently have Elements Organiser 2018 (version 16.0.0.0) on an obsolete Macbook Pro which runs on Big Sur.  I have just purchased a new Macbook Pro with an M1 chip that runs on Monterey. I tried installing Elements 2018 on my new Macbook Pro, but it won’t take it.  Therefore I need to upgrade to Elements 2022.  I’m unsure of the best way to deal with the combination of new computer and upgraded software.  What is the best order of approach to tackle this?   Am I better to install Elements 2022 onto the old Macbook and then export the program and data to the new Macbook or is it better to install Elements 2022 straight onto the new Macbook and then restore a backup of the Elements 2018 data? Your help would be greatly appreciated!

There is no 'Object Selection tool' on the toolbar.And I can't select an object with mouse click. Would someone be so nice and give me a hint where to look?I'm already looking for 45 minutes.

My Elements Organizer just imported over 1000 photos from Lightroom.  These Lightroom files all had keywords attached to them. When Elements Organizer imported them it asked me if I wanted to import the keywords too.  I answered yes.  But I don't see the keywords in Organizer or Editor modes.  How do I see them?  I'm somewhat new to using Elements as I have mostly used Lightroom.  Thanks for any help.   

I am trying to select pictures that feature a specific (tagged) person, but no other (tagged) persons. Is there a way to select pictures that do have some specific tag from the people group (let's say person A), but no other people tags at all, so no person B, C, D, etcetera?RikPSE 19 on Win 10

Hi,I rececntly upgraded from PSE 14 to PSE 2022, I have an issue where I cannot see a preview of  .RW2 (Panasonic Lumix Micro Four Thirds) files when getting photos from camera or card reader via Elements Organiser. PSE 14 is still installed on the PC (Windows 11) and it still works just fine in there.The version of Camera Raw is 13.3.0.807 and no newer version is detected via Creative Cloud Desktop. I did download and install version 14 and installed but PSE does not use it.I can see .RW2 in File Explorer too (after install MS Raw Image Extension) and other software like FastStone Image Viewer.Any suggestions on a resolution to this or is it a bug?

A couple months ago I updated my older Elements suite to the 2022 Photoshop Elements/Premiere Elements version.  I paid the fee and downloaded the software to my computer.  I check every now and then to see if any updates are available under the "Help" tab but every time I look the "Update" button is greyed out. Does this mean no updates are available or is there a problem?  Thanks for any help.   

My HDD crashed and after restoring a new HDD Elements can only find about half of the albums when I try reconnect it keeps going to the old folder which no longer exists. As a test I reloaded a folder of pics I had a CD backup. When I reloaded the pics in a new folder elements still says nope these pics already exist. The reconnect keeps going back to the old folder that is not there anymore,when I manually point it to the new folder it will not reload them saying they already exist. All I have is the thumb nail in the original albumHow do I get it to see and accept the new folder. The file name is still the same but it seems adobe is so stubborn the file name alone is not good enough it wants the old path/folder So I am at a loss as to how to reload pics I have on a cd backup. Any Help please?

I have been using Photoshop Elements foer many years and have a chain of upgrades going back to 2005. The most recent upgrade I made was to Photoshop Elements 2019 which I bought a full version of Amazon on August 21, 2019. It worked well for me up to now. I tried to update some photos in my library I took in the past few months and notice the location tags (geotagging) no longer supports new entries. I can only tag photos using old place names, but cann create any new ones. All other aspects of PSE19 work fine for me. Can you please tell me why PSE19 no longer supports geotagging? Is it a compatibility problem with Mac OS Monterey (I run v12.1)? I would like to get geotagging working again and not have to pay another $80-100 for a upgrade to 2022. Thank you.

My TRIAL version of Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022   IS NOT WORKING: ---AND AS I HAVE NOT BOUGHT THE PROGRAM-YET!!- THIS TIME, I DO NOT GET ANY HELP FORM ADOBE CHAT ... AS IT/YOU REQUIRE A NEW "registration number -  TO GET HELP... ---------I have previously had several times Adobe Photoshop Elements .. on an older PC,                   - but that PC collapsed, and program lost .. ----------Including 2014, and in 2018 I bought a new version of Adobe Photoshop Elements, on a DVD, but just "installed it", and only “registered it”, - before going abroad... and arriving back over a month later, I found out that the program did not work..... - and THE SAME WAY AS NOW, I COULD AT THAT TIME NOT GET ANY HELP FORM ADOBE, -  as I had registered it more then 30 days ago... --so THIS TIME I WILL MAKE SURE THE PROGRAM ADOBE PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS WORKS OK, ---BEFORE !!! I BUY IT .. THAT’S WHY

if I start the organizer i cannot use the buttonns like file, seek and view ans so on. What is the problem and how can I solve it. I have already the programm deinstalled inclusive the preview settings. but after the new installing, all my datas are kown from the program and the problem exists like above. How can i deinstall the program really complete?

This may not be new to everybody but as a new user in this community I thought I should share. I posted in this community asking for help with an issue I was having with PSE 2021. Very shortly after my post I received a private message from Howard Palmer who instructed me to contact Adobe Support directly via email. Hello everyone, new elements user here coming from Picasa I've installed elements 2022 and ran the import, selecting a netword drive on my home setup herethe name of the network location I imported from was: \\readyshare.routerlogin.com\Seagate Backup Drive\PHOTOS  (please see screenshot 1) - everything imported just fine THEN, I set up a watched folder, so that anything I dumped into that \PHOTOS folder in the future would be imported automatically to the existing structure. I selected the EXACT location for my watched folder. In other words, the same folder I ran the initial import from \readyshare.routerlogin.com\Seagate Backup Drive\PHOTOS In doing a test, I created a new folder under \readyshare.routerlogin.com\Seagate Backup Drive\PHOTOS (named 1967-test) in windows explorer and placed an image in there to see if elements would pick it up and import it.  It did, but it appears it has created another identical location and is now listed twice. Photoshop Elements 15 QuestionsAfter making the mistake of forgetting that PSE 15 was on my computer (Windows 10) and needing more room on my (C) drive, I moved all my photos to an external drive (this was outside of the organizer).  Of course, when I later opened my catalog in the organizer, all 12,000 pictures were disconnected.  Many of my pictures had been moved several times to where the pathway to find them might be something like: C/Users/Owner/Documents/Photoshop elements back/users/Adcock/Pictures/MP Navigator EX/Russell Adcock I think this was so convoluted that PSE 15 could not find the pictures by itself. So, I painstakingly spent several .  weeks reconnecting the photos manually using the Browse function.  The actual files were found all over the place on my computer.  So, after finding and reconnecting them I did a backup to an external hard drive (E).   drive. Then I deleted all the picture folders from my (C) drive.  The

I could open them a couple days ago.  Then today I could only hear the audio not see the video.  These are clips from an iphone.  When I searched for an answer I saw that Quicktime 7 was no longer supported.  So I deleted Quicktime 7 and downloaded Quicktime 7.7.9, and now they won't work at all.  Does anyone have a solution?

I purchased a new MacBook Pro and installed my Adobe software.  During my upload from camera cards, the system automatically started uploading all the pics from my iPhone.  I was planning to do this, but not in the way that it was done.  There were so many, the software split them into around 20-30 folders.  I moved the pics all into one folder that now contains around 6000 images.  Every time I go to that folder, the Organizer bogs down and will not even scroll through the folder.  I want to be able to edit some of these images and am not able to.  When I go to the tree view, this folder is a sub, sub folder.  Do I need to delete this folder and start over or is there another way to resolve this problem?
