Photoshop Elements

Cory, I have a new MacBook Pro with my purchased copy of Photoshop Elements 2022. Mac OS Monterey 12.0.1. When I try to open a pictures file, Elements shows only Documents and my Mac's "Photos"'is not even an option. Elements is worthless if I can't open Photos and edit them. I also have my purchased copy of 2021 Elements on my Windows PC. It works fine. please help

Will a download of Elements 2022 work on my Mac running Big Sur 11.6?

Why can't elements 21 import .nef files prior to 2011? I keep getting message that they are not supported.Do I need to get a converter of some type?

Am using PSEl 21 with Windows10 I want to add the ruler in my PS workspace but when I go to the View window the ruler option is grayed outWhat am I doing wrong?  Thanks for your help

I am pretty new to this and am struggling with trying to create irregular "cut-out" pieces of photos to create a photo mosaic. I have gotten to the point of creating a surrounding brush-applied fill that extends to the edges of the original photo. The color is something not in the inner piece I want to retain and I guess I need to create some kind of mask or inverse mask to remove the surrounding fill that I created. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.

I usually use the Instant Fix to edit photos in my PE2020.  However, I recently took hundreds of concert photos and the skin tones on most of the photos are entirely too red, while some are entirely too blue.  I can't seem to find a tutorial that tells me how to edit these photos.  I'm not talking about some red blotches, I'm talking entire faces and arms be red or bright pink.  I have tried to follow Guided and Expert instructions, but I am not computer savy at all.  Could anyone suggest a tutorial to help me correct the colors in my photos?

Does anybody know where the panorama/photo merge option is hidden? With photoshop elements 15 I don't find that option neither in "edit" (German: Überarbeiten).nor in "file" (German: Datei")Would be nice if someone could give me a hint how to find the panorama option. Thanks.

Hello! If I have multiple file tabs open in Elements can I print just one of the files without having to click "remove" on all the other files in the print dialogue box? Thank you for your help!

Clicking on photo thumbnails does not open the PSE21 as it should (it is the default sw to open photo files)I cant open files even by opening the PSE software  Clicking to open the photo editor fails to open the editor workspace.All of my other photo editors work as they are supposed (when set  as default opening option) to-clicking on thumnails)  Can someone venture a guess as to what is wrong with my PSE21 software?Thanks for your help

For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to smooth the edges of the text I create in photoshop elements 2019.  It is driving CRAZY!  I have tried the Adobe support site, Google and YouTube but nothing works.  Mostly all of the suggestions or directions that I have found on these three sites reference tools and adjustments that don't even seem to exist on my screen.  What am I doing WRONG??? Someone please help me.  VERY DESPERATE!!! Yok33

After being all happy about my new Nikon Z6II and getting Elements 2021, I was stunned to find that the RAW files from this camera cannot be read. Does anyone have a solution? 

Since I upgraded to 2022 every single photo that I download direct from my camera downloads TWICE... One with the IMG number as in the camera, but then a second with the same number and then a  -1Here is an example.... IMG_4033JPG, then exactlty the same file but looking like this.. IMG_4033-1JPG!If I transfer to my Canon editt site on my PC, it only downloads the ONE file every time.I spoke to Adobe a few weeks back and the lady said it was a problem within Elements 2022 and lots of people had reported it, and it was to be SORTED.... well it sure has not been yet! I just took 600 pics at the zoo... but now have 1,200 on my PCHas anyone else found this to be happening? 

I'm currently running an old version of Elements, version 7.0.  It runs well but I'm considering upgrading to 2022.  If I buy the upgrade version will it install with no issues?   I have installed the demo and it runs well on my computer. My 7.0 serial is so old it does not save to my adobe account.   Will 2022 still be able to see my old 7.0 install and unlock with just the upgrade license?     I don't want to buy the upgrade license if it won't work. I've asked a few Adobe chat people on their site and they cannot give me a clear answer.   One said I needed to buy a new regular license, one said I never bought 7.0 even though I still have the reciept from the adobe website, and another said I will have to purchase the upgrade versions for 8,9,10,2018,2019,2021 before I'll be able to buy 2022 upgrade version.      I offered to send them my reciept to validate the 2022 upgrade install but that doesn't seem to be an option. 

I wanted to start photoshop elements 13. I get a message about two updates. I do the updates and restart the programme. every time i got the same update message and i can't work with the programma. What is my problem?

Hi all, Easy question. Does Element 2022 still uses the same database format/structure as the 2020 version (i.e. with several thousands of json files). With every new releases, I hoping that adobe will eventually come up with a nore intelligent way of managing this. Thanks

Hi, I have installed Photoshop Elements 2022 on my laptop. I would like for my catalog to be on my external hard drive. I have not imported any media yet. My question is... should I change the location of the default catalog or should I create a new one?  Thanks so much!

At some point, my Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 became corrupted.  I could not install, so I uninstalled, and re-installed.  However, attempting to run, I get "Windows is searching for Photoshop Elements 10.0.exe," and cannot find the file (nor can I.)  Any suggestions very welcome.

 hello, here is the problem I encounter when I use a finger tool, it does not give me the desired effect even by changing all the parameters of the tool. Could you help me to see more clearly and solve this problem?thanks in advance

And I'm glad I did.  Compatible with Mac OS Monterey!  It's a bit more expenisive but works in ways that I learned using Photoshop Elements.  Similar enough to not have a big learning curve which I was trying to avoid.   Mainly I'm a writer but often include images and graphics in my articles or essays.  

I purchased photoshop elements 9 and installed on an older macbook pro laptop that has crashed.  I have a new macbook pro laptop that cannot install the photoshop elements 9 disk.  Can I download it from adobe?

Any ideas on what I can do about this. Editor won't open. Someone told me that Elements 2022 has the same problem. I tried to purchase Elements 2022 last night , it wouldn't download. Adobe never mentioned there was a problem with Elements 2021 and 2022 with Monterey. I did tell the this the software I was using, that didn't stop them selling me 2022 even though I believe  they are aware of problems. I asked for a refund.

 Vorig jaar in Windows PSE 13 verwijderd via configuratiescherm. Nu blijkt in de app Foto's dit soort plaatjes te verschijnen die verwijzen naar genoemd verwijderd programma. Ik wil ze blijvend verwijderenzonder dat er foto's worden gewist.Wie weet raad? Bij Microsoft niet.
