Photoshop Elements

I have imported some RAW (Nikon NEF) pictures taken in France (GMT +1) into the organizer. The camera clock was set to the correct local time. The pictures have had GPS data (including a timestamp which is set to UTC/GMT) added by GeoSetter. I live in the UK, my computer clock is set to GMT.When displayed in the organizer the pictures show the wrong time (1 hour early, i.e.GMT). The Information display shows Date Time Digitized as the correct local time, but Date Time and Date Time Original as GMT. However the EXIF information (using IrfanView) shows all 3 timestamps showing the correct local time. If the picture is edited and saved as a JPG, the EXIF times are all set to the correct local time in the JPG.If I import the same picture without GPS information the times are correctly displayed as local time in all cases.Can anyone explain why this happens, and how to avoid it (or, if it's a bug, how to report it)? My catalog has over 120K photos in it.  The facial analysis is CRAWLING.  Is there a way to speed it up? After two full days only 29K have been scanned. 

Hello, I just upgraded to 2021 (I do this every year) and had a 2020 catalogue error which, I think was due to face recognition issues. When I launch the 2021 Organizer I can't click on any drop down menus to turn off Face Recognition. My system (it's new and powerful) seems to be "looped" processing my 65K picture catalogue for faces and thus won't allow me to pull down any menu options. (It shows 42K face images processed of 65K and the counter slowly increases) I can't figure out how to stop the program from automatically starting indexing the images for faces upon Organizer launch in order to stop my system from appearing to be "frozen". Any help would be appreciated. Hello,Today I purchased Photoshop Elements 2021 and Premiere Elements 2021 via the Adobe website.After downloading the software I wanted to start it up, but in order to activate the program, you need to sign in with your Adobe account and password. That's what I have done, but then everytime I am thrown back to the sign in page. I tried different things, even remove and download the package again, but I keep having the same issue. I am using a new MacBook Pro 13" with MacOS Catalina.What am I doing wrong here? Does anyone know?

Nun habe ich mir PSE 2021 gegönnt und es ist unter Win 10 tatsächlich schneller und stabiler als meine alte Version PSE 8. Aber leider funktioniert die Vergleichsansicht (F12) nicht zufriedenstellend: beim Zoomen auf 100% werden beide Fotos nicht sychron gezoomt, obwohl ich dies natürlich mit dem Schlosssymbol so eingestellt habe. Liegt dies nun an meinem PC oder wie ist die Erfahrung bei anderen Usern? Danke für alle Antworten.

I have upgraded to PSe 2021, but the catalog would not convert from PSe 2020 as it found errors and gave me a message saying I should repair the catalog in PSe Organizer 2020 before trying to convert it to 2021. I went back to PSe Organizer 2020 in order to repair the catalog using Catalog Manager, however the Repair option that is shown in the online help does not appear. It's not greyed out, it just doesn't appear. The same thing happens regardless of whether I press shift while launching Organizer or not.I tried to Optimize it, but it said "An error occurred while attempting to optimize the Catalog".  How do I repair my catalog in PSe 2020? Is it possible  to open a file with the .FIF extension in Photo Elements?????

I have installed Elements 2021 on a Windows 10 machine. When powering down the computer, whethter I have used Elements or not, the computer hangs with the message "Font Capture - application error. This app is preventing shutdown". I have the exact message copied from Event Viewer if it helps. I have a copy of CS 3 on the machine but needed an updated Canon raw handling of Elements.

I have an old well used copy and have recently been getting the 'Register your copy' box on start up.I can't reregister as it's Elements 5.How do I remove the request Please?

I just buy Photoshop element 2020 on dvd/cd box from walmart.  I have problem in redeem my program code that came with the box to retrieve the serial number, it keep telling me that the store have to activate the program, I went to the store and they tell me they dont have to activate it, that it is supposed to work, but it doesn't acept the code to redeem. This cost me 89 dollars and they don't even want to reemburse me the money and now I have a program that doesn't work, This is WALMART, I don't know what else to do even because the customer support doesn't give me a phone number to call to ask how I can manage my problem, can any of you help me?

I have to buy new laptops, but the list of supported GPUs is so limited. Does Abode regularly add GPUs?If I buy a laptop and signup for Beta Tester Program and test my GPU will my gpu be added fast to the support list?

I put the image on the background but the image is to bright. How do I blend the image and the background together?  

I have just gone through the process of importing photos into Organizer, applying tags (People, Places, etc …) and then saving the metadata to the files that are located on a shared NAS drive, so that other members of my family who do not have the Organizer software on their computers can readily search for the photos using the metadata.  Having completed this process I have discovered that the "Save Metadata to File" command overwrites ALL metadata including GPS coordinates.I appreciate that it can be argued that "this is what the command is designed to do", but I do think that it would be prudent to include a confirmation box that indicates what information will be overwritten, and the option to retaining any of the existing information BEFORE committing the save, as explained below.The photos that I imported in my catalogue were taken at various locations around Hyde Park in London (which for the benefit of those not familiar with the locality is approximately the same size as

How do I save my catalog in Organizer to the cloud?

I downloaded and installed a copy of Elements 2021 after puchasing a serial number. I entered the srial number and it seemed to work but then I accidentally deleted the 2021 version of Elements when I meant to delete an earlier version. I downloaded it again but when I try to enter the 24 digit code it will not accept it. What can I do?

Hi,My old computer crashed and had to be replaced, on installing Adobe Photoshop E1ements 14 on my new pc I get ………..The serial number is already in use by the max allowed computers . you must deactivate  another computer to use this product again on this computer …………As my old pc was a right off I have no way of doing this.Regards  

I purchased and installed Photoshop Elements 2021 a few days ago and it worked fine on the first day I had it.  Now, I can't get the program to launch at all.  What should I be looking for in my app file to pin to the taskbar to start the program?  HELP!!! Hello,I currently have the following Adobe Photoshop products on my Windows 10 Pro x64 PC: Elements 9 and Lightroom 5.6.If I upgrade to version 2021 of these products, could I easily recover (without re-entering) all of my catalogs, keywords, Exif data, etc. which structure my more than 30,000 current photos ?If not, how to proceed to recover the maximum of this data and which ones?

I love the people faces recognition feature in PSE 2021.Is there a plugin for pet/dog/cat recognition?  Or did I miss that feature.

I wish I had stuck to PSE 20 few problems but now with 21 I try to open an image and all I get is box but what disk or where nothing what a waste of money.

I just got my new mac this August.  I had no idea a new Major OS release was coming out 😕😕 and i have PSE 2020 .  I can not fine Difinitive information on whether PSE 2020 will RUN on Big Sur.  and I don't want to buy another PSE version - anyway.  if anyone knows difinitive info, or if there are issues, are they livable issue? i used to be heavy into digitial scrapbooking, but now my main use w/ PSE is manipulating images to prepare to make them SVG (cuttable) files.thank you for your help and what you have experienced (and i did read the previous post but big sur was still in beta according to what i read, and no difinitive information about what did or not work) THANK YOU !!

I still have issues with the cracked file thumbnail in organizer after editing a file and saving it in the editor.  Can anyone give me a link to a solution?  Had this issue in my previous version so I upgraded to PSE 2019 in hopes to solve the issue, it did not.  Hope some one can help.

How do zi back up my Elements Organizer photos to the cloud?  I am looking for an easy method.  Currently use an external drive but would like to move to the cloud.What service to use?What Organizer menu commands?Thanks.
