Photoshop Elements

Years ago I needed to get a new logic board on my MacPro (version 10.14.6) and since the repair I am not able to open the app.  I have de-installed and re-installed several times but it has yet to work.  The app store says that updates are not available. How do I solve this problem?  can I get a new version of elements?  

Hi,I have been naming faces in my catalog and it is slow but mostly working ok.  So far I have 958 faces named and most show up ok.  I do, however, have 18 faces that do not show up in the "People" workspace thumbnails.  If I click on the gray circle where the thumbnail photo should be, with the "Faces" button selected, the gray circle shows up in the box below. but if I click on the "Photos" button, then the actual photo shows up in the box.  It is not round like a the rest of the thumbnails though, it is the rectangular shape of the actual photo.  If I then "X" out of the box the gray circle appears again.The only thing I can see that all 18 of these photos have in common is that they are a small photo with only one face, and that one face takes up almost the entire photo.  I tried removing the name and then renaming, but that did not work.  I tried making a small edit in Photoshop Editor then resaving and renaming but that did not work either.&nbsp

Can anyone help? My entire Elements 2018 Catalog is automatically backed-up to Google Drive, and as such is right now automatically downloading to my new PC. Can I import those into Organizer  somehow to re-establish all my catalog complete with cataloging albums, star ratings etc?Otherwise, if I do a Backup / restore I'll end up with  completely unnecessary duplicate of the entire catalog on my new Pc, which I'd then have to upload into Google Drive. After contacting help center no solution why i need to download a app to make a update Elements 2021.

I was trying to create a quick slideshow out of the Organizer feature (vs. in Premier) and ran into audio issues where I cannot sequence multiple audio tracks.  I select 2 to 4 songs, but when I play the slideshow, only the first song plays and repeats and repeats until end of slide show.  The ss is not very long, around 50 photos and under 4 minutes.  The audio files chosen were just the "canned" files that come with the software, but I did try some of my own music files and the same thing occured. Within this feature, it appears to have limited controls as to just slecting a theme and adding audio so I am not sure if I missed any other setting.  Just checking here for suggestions or solution before I just create the SS in Premier.

I bought the download version of PSE2021 fron Newegg & was expecting to download it. But only an installer gets saved to my drive. I have slow Internet and large programs can take 1-2 hours to download. I like to download programs only once & save to a USB stick or other media. That way when I need/want to reinstall a program I don't have to wait hours to download something that I've already downloaded. I usually do a fresh install of Windows & programs every year and having programs already saved to a thumb drive or disc really saves me time. So far I cannot find a link to a full download. Can someone please point me in the right direction?Thanks 

I know..I made a big mistake, by not checking the Adobe site first to insure I could download my old application.  Last time I had an issue I just logged into my account and downloaded my s/w from the purchase record of my Adobe account.  But now there is nothing there.  I HAD version 15 of both Photoshop and Premiere Elements but neither is available  in my account now...Does anyone know if I have any options to getting my s/w loaded on my PC again??  These are just apps I use occationally for fun.  Any help is appreciated.  Thank Glo

I am trying to print a 12 x 16 inch photo onto a 8 x 11 inch paper. I want the extra sheets to print but it wont. Im am on windows 10. brother printer. Using Elements 2020.Can some one help me?

Hi, I`m hoping someone can help me. Today i clicked on the desktop link for PS Elements 15 and it  opened up something i`ve never seen before. Its asking me to log onto Adobe which i did then opens up a new window offering me a 30 day trial or to log on using a redemption code (6 boxes) or to accept an invitation from Adobe (i dont have any email from Adobe) and i also dont have my original redemption code. I purchased  Elements 15 in 2016 from Amazon and can see my purchase on my account. Why is this happening for the first time and how can i get around it so i can continue to edit my photographs? thanks in advanceCliff 

I have got Element 7 from a Second Hand shop. The serie number is [removed by moderator]. I have not the key. I can edit videos but not export them. How can I get the key? /Leffe   [serial number removed by moderator]    

In Elements 2018, I had set up a default profile which catered for 80% of my preferred settings.In 2021, there appears to be no option to save a camera Default RAW profile within RAW. I must admit to being agrieved in upgrading and finding the main element of my editing has been downgraded, especially as it appears that the feature list of the Elements RAW editor is quite restricted compared with the full product, and all the descriptions of the RAW product do not make this clear. I'd be better off (£75 better off!) returning to version 2018. I hope there is some hidden option somewhere I've missed. I only open photos from the card into RAW, and save them to another destination and rarely edit in the main Elements.

My desktop computer broke down recently. I replaced it with a new one but had no chance to deactivate the PSE 13 license on the broken computer.Installation on the new desktop failed since the license is still booked on the broken APC.How can I transfer the PSE 13 license to the new computer ?

I have had several versions of elements and just installed 2021 because of a new computer.  I have attempted every avenue suggested to set up an email client but none will validate.  The last time I had this occurance (2 years ago), I had to have a remote connection to adobe to make it work.  Does anyone have a better suggestion than the multitudes of support shown from Adobe?

I have  PSE 2020 on an HP Laptop running Windows 10 64 --- I bought a course to learn to edit using Camera Raw in PSE 2020 but find Camera Raw overwrites the original photo destroying my ability to ever use the original photo in a different way - I can "see" the original photo with a Windows Photo Viewer but when I try to open the original photo in PSE 2020 Editor (not Camera Raw), it will only open in Camera Raw and it will only be the edited version of the photo that I edited in Camera Raw and had saved with a different name - It also shows the unedited photo name under the edited photo not the "Save As" name I gave the Camera Raw edited version.  Do I have something set wrong in PSE 2020 or PSE Camera Raw causing the overwriting?  This is not happening to others in the class that are using PSE 2020.  I want to definitely keep my unedited original photos and want to be able to open them in PSE Editor NOT Camera Raw as unedited  photos!  Why?  B

Hi, I am a casual user of PSE 15 and have recently migrated my catalog to a newer Win 10 laptop. Everything seemed to go well.  Today I was browsing my photos and remembered about manually saving metadata so I started the process and then went to lunch.  When I returned the process was finished an all appeared well.  An hour or so later I opened the recycle bin just to see if I could save some room and there were over 650 photos in there, all with the deleted date/time corresponding to when I saved the metadata!  I was panicked, but when I reopened PSE all the photos still appeared to be there.  I was still not comfortable so I tried to restore the photos but windows said all the photos already existed in the folders and did I want to overwrite them?  What happened?  The deleted photos appear to be duplicates but why are they there?Thanks for your help,KenPS:my catalog is still on the original computer in it's entirety so I have not lost anything perm

I am using PSE 2021 on a Mac running Big Sur 11.0.1 and am unable to download photos from my Camera Card using  File - Get Photos and Videos - From Camera or Card Reader.  As I only installed PSE2021 last month and Big Sur this week I'm not sure which is the culprit as I have not downloaded any photos since before installing both.  When I choose this option absolutely nothing happens, no error messages at all. I can see the SD Card in Finder and can copt the photos from it. I usually do this by plugging the Camera card into the SD slot on my macbook. I have tried using a card reader and get the same fault.   Can anyone help me with this

I had to reload Adobe Element 14 after someone at HP crashed my computer although I got it up and running the next day. Not it claims the serial number has reached alooted times to download. I had an older version that left me load multiple times over the years. This is such a hassle, I'm considering switching programs. Also on Elements 14 I have noticed many times it seems to change "settings" without even doing anything. For starters, my photos always appear too dark, not the natural colors I see on the screen but with a slight pinkish/purple tint on carpeting for example. Another issue is when you would add an effect, say a border or frame, you click the center and "stretch" the outline to the edges and it use to "lock" into place. In other words it would stop at the edges. What is going on with this? It may be me, but something is not functioning correctly here. I have worked with this for years and my older version worked better than this. Help?

I have recently scanned several hundred old slides. The slides were not grouped in any particular order as they were being scanned - i.e. the scanning timing is not the sort order that I want.Is there some way I can manually change - permanently - the order in which these slide-photos appear?I do not want to create folders or albums to do this. I want to be able to manually group the slides (preferably by drag and dropping them) while in a grid view. (I am thinking of a similar function that can be done with slides in PowerPoint.)If PSE Organizer does not have this function is there a Windows 10 app that does?I have PSE 2021 installed on a PC desktop, using Windows 10 Home with all the latest updates.

Hi. I have a new configuration - new to me Mac laptop. I had to purchase Elements 2021 to run on this computer. When I try to use the catalog from Elements 14 I can't (it's grayed out). For 5 years I've used Elements so I have so much data (tags and such) that I desperately don't want to lose. Old computer was a Mac Book. This new one is also a Mac Book. Thanks in advance. 

PSE 2020 on MacBookPr0- having trouble adding blank folders in folder-tree view. I want to create folders by year and month within year. New folders create as Untitled Folder, but when I change the name to, for example, "2015", the folder disappears and I get error message "The operation could not be completed. The error may have occurred due to invalid characters read only location or existing folder having same name". Thanks. Jim Hagen

I am about to move on to a new stationary computer, in that process I will also upgrade from Photoshop/Premiere Elements 18 to 21.I have about 1 TB of pictures and several versions of Elements in the old computer and wish to start cleen if possible. What would be the best practise to achieve this?Back up from Elements 18) and restore on new computer with Elements 21?Any requirement on the new disk (seize/structure)?Will the Elements 21on the new computer find the data from restore even if created with 18? Etc Any guidence and thoughts appriciatedJan

I backed up my Elements 2016. After I suffered a computer crash I upgraded to Elements 2021. When I try to restore from the 2016 back I get a message that the back up is not valid. Any help would be appreciated.
