Photoshop Elements

There seems to be a bug in the new cloud synchronisation of photoshop elements 2025.  I'd like to use this sync in a way that pictures from the PC should not be uploaded into the cloud. But, pictures imported from the new mobile app should be synchronised via cloud with the PC. My idea was configuring the sync like this:But unfortunately it always switches back to this automatically:Does anybody have the same issue?

Hi, I have a question, probably easy but not clear for me.I have Photoshop elements 2022, never updated, now I want to do it. Is it free to do so?Can I update it while remaining on the 2022 version or also update it to the 2025 version? Obviously how do you do it? For Imac pleaseThanks

Hallo, ich habe das neue Photoshop 2025 als Testversion herunter geladen, auf Win 11. Konnte 10 Fotos bearbeiten, mit Text versehen, bei zwei Fotos konnte ich die Farbe für den Rext nicht ändern, es geht immer nur mit weiß oder grau. Ich arbeite seit 20 Jahren mit Photoshop, aber das hatte ich noch nie. Ich hoffe, hier Hilfe zu bekommen. Vielen Dank schon mal

Hi,  The file menu and all other top menu dropdown features are not working on my Elements 2024 program installed on my HP laptop running the latest version of Windows 11. Any suggestions would be welcome?

I have had to replace all my software after a C drive failure including Premiere Elements 2022 and Photoshop elements 2022.  After downloading both from my account, the validation procedure doesn't work?

I have been using photoshop & elements for many years now. I recently bought elements 2024 & after finding information on the internet, I had it woking good. Then I got a new pc, downloaded & installed elements 2024, & now I cannot make it keep my crop settings. If I want it 2000 px X 3000 px, I have to type that in with every pic.  I have always been able to save that in the past, or at least it always kept it after saving crop ratio. However, now there is no crop ratio, only photo ratio & I want to use a specific ratio without typing it in every time. Also I can not make crop stay on virticle every time, if the picture is landscap, the crop automatically goes to landscape, which I have always been able to keep that as well. Can anyone help please? Very frustrating!

After using PSE 2025 for about 30 minutes, I cannot move objects with the corner of the selection box. It starts moving objects sporadically. Exiting and restarting the program corrects the problem for another 30 minutes.

I don't know if there is a setting for this and it has just been so long I don't remember.   I used to be able to right click on an a selected shape i placed in a picture and see the style settings option in the context menu, that seems to be gone now, and I have to go up to the layer menu, layer style, style settings. Is it possible to get this back in the context menu?

Hello, I have Adobe Organizer 2024 and importing photos from a Synology NAS systematically blocks after loading a few hundred photos, with the message: incompatible files; json, jbf, css etc ... how to get around this problem? Deleting the files is not a good option, since photo recognition is linked to these files. Is it possible to force Organizer to import photo files by excluding the othersthank you so much 

Error message reads: Abnormal exit. Please try again or open/creat a different catalogue.Over 50,000 images ... help pleaseHowever I am unable to open a different catalogue and organizer simply hangs.(Photoshop editor still opens)It has worked perfectly for 3 years. Windows 11.

I have downloaded and installed the raw plugin for adobe 2024 but am unable to open .raf raw files.  Adobe's request for me to download the plugin keeps repeating, on a loop it seems.  This is something new. I am on a Mac with the latest software and the M1 chip.  Anyone have any idea why this is happening?  I have restarted PSE but that didn't clear the issue.  Thanks.

I am able to create a panorama in Elements 2023 Editor with Photomerge. But when I save it as a jpg I'm unable to view it in the Organizer.It's displayed as a gray box with the broken letter icon. I have no problem viewing the image in File manager. So it's an Organizer problem.I've tried this with anywhere from two to five images, same results.Windows 11Element 21 (2023)ACR 17I'm hoping this is a simple fix/workaroundThanks

WINDOWS ONLYArgus Preset Viewer (google it) $10.    Download, extract, click on the full install link in the popup menu.It allows you to view brush thumbnails, any thumbnails actually in your preset folder- brushes and shapes in particular- in your file explorer.   Adobe says there is no software to view brush thumbnails, BUT THIS IS IT! I generally don't mess with add ons / actions /presets type stuff for PSE, but this product "Argus Preset Viewer" does exactely what I needed / wanted, which is something Adobe says does not exist "Software to view brush thumbnails."I have hundreds of brush sets, many are garbage, not worth the download- but with this program I can see all the brush thumbnails without having to start any Adobe program.   It's built into your file explorer, after you click on the exe file. I have a bunch of custom swatches installed in other versions of PSE.   I will search for them, and put them all in one folder I can

Messing around I searched my entire computer for shape files (CSH)- found 322 of them- some are quite big with hundreds of files.Prior to today I don't recall being able to see the actual thumbnails of the shapes in my file explorer.  With some of the huge shpae folders, the ones that have hundreds of shapes the thumbnails are microscopic, quite useless.I'm thinking this might be one of those things I've just never really paid attention to.Most of them are the size of what you see below.Can everyone else see their shape thumbnails in their file explorer like what you see below?

Photoshop 10I have used photoshop many times and while I am not very experienced and forget things inbetween projects I have never had this problem.When I SIMPLY try to bring an image in as a layer my background and the new layer combine/merge. I have spent hours trying to figure this out!!!!!This has to be a simple setting but I am about to break something after hours of you tube videos and no solution!I am SIMPLY trying to drag an image with transparent background into the newly created layer. As you can see in my final image, I have done this before. As far as I know I am doing the same thing I did just a month ago. I can edit the previsous project and I have no problem with it. I just want to make a new project. I tried copy background and make background a layer and neither of those actions seemed to matter.I read other posts and there is mention of how a file is saved and I think I tried everything. I struggle to see how, since I have not yet saved the new project, how savin

Hi all, I am tracing the damaged artwork on a pinball table. Most is pretty straightforward but there is a large section where the background is dark blue and there are misshapen black dots that vary in density to achieve a shading pattern that varies from almost full black to mostly blue. I am trying to figure out how to recreate/reproduce this without trying to trace each blob.Attached is a section of the playfield. you can see in the lower left the  dense pattern and the upper right considerably less. I am kind of at a loss to reproduce this, any suggestions?

I'm using Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021 and I found it nearly impossible to simply copying objects!I need to create a subway type of route map with tens of lines and maybe hundred of nodes. I can create one node by drawing a circle. My problem is to reproduce such circles in the amount of hundreds. However, I cannot just point to the circle and make copy (the copy menu is disabled).Further, every circle I draw, it creates a separate layer. This will end up hundreds of layers being created. My question is: how can I simply copy and paste circles? And, is it even possible to keep them in one layer?

I have a new HP Envy laptop with Windows 11 and PSE 24. When using face recognition I often get the wrong suggestion. The problem is that clicking on the X to change the name nothing happens.  I can click 10 times and than it might offer another wrong suggestion or simply stay unchanged. Any idea? 

Using Adobe Photoshop Elements 2018 able to access pictures/folders but has ceased allowing me to Caption/Delete/Create Album etc. When attempt any operation on-screen error message - eg ERROR CHANGING CAPTION/ERROR DELETING MEDIA/ ERROR CREATING NEW ALBUM.  Solution?

Ik heb vandaag Photoshop Elements 2025 gekocht bij Bol.com en via Adobe een installatiecode gekregen. Deze op mijn laptop gebruikt en dat gaat binnen 5 minuten goed. Daarna wilde ik mijn 2e licentie gebruiken op mijn desktop, maar daar gaat de installatie niet verder dan 2% en krijg ik stelselmatig de melding dan 'er geen verbinding meer is met het netwerk'. Alle tips (oa bij foutcode 81) vervangen, daarna een nieuwe UTP kabel aangesloten, een netwerktest van Ziggo uitgevoerd (935Mbps op de desktop) maar nog steeds gaat de installatie niet verder dan 2%. In Taakbeheer heb ik alle Adobe-installatieprogramma's verwijderd maar ook dat helpt niet. Wat doe ik fout of waar ik voorbij kijk. 

photoshop elements 2025 will not function after returning image from camera raw

I have Elements 2021 on my Windows machine. I'm interested in the new features of Elements 2025. I've read posts that these are separate installs, but I'm still worried that installing 2025 will impact my ability to use the 2021 version (if I choose not to get a license after the free trial). The reason I'm worried is that the installation of 2025 is telling me to shut down my 2021 version. If they are separate installs, why does it matter if 2021 is up and running? In all likelihood, I'll keep 2025, but I'd still like to know for certain that 2021 will still work since I'm in the middle of a project. Thanks very much!

Bonjour, mon PSE 23 n'ouvre pas mes fichiers CR3 canon R6II , j'ai téléchagée la version 16 de camera raw çà ne fonctionne pas non plus. J'ai la version 14.  Je viens de payer plus de 100$ et plus pour PSE 2023, par contre   mon PSE 2023 ouvre les fichiers de mon canon 5 DMIV, CR2 où est l'erreur??Merci
