Photoshop Elements

When using the "open closed eyes" function in Elements 19 on multi people photos I am unable to change the face I want to enhance. In all of the photos I have tried I only get one face I can use the function on, even though all of the faces have been identified in Organiser. I get the option to change faces within the "Adjust facial features" option but not the Open Closed Eyes one. Any help would be welcome!

I purchased this retail version of Elements in disk form in 2019 and had it loaded onto my desktop & notebook computers. I recently inadvertently downloaded a virus onto the notebook which required a clean install of Windows 10 in which I chose the option of deleting all files & programs under the impression that I could reinstall Elements from the disk. Unfortunately it appears that the disk became lost during a recent cross country move. Would like to know if there is any way to recover this program (ie. copying it from the desktop, etc.). Thanks for any info. 

Please can someone advise me if there are any tools available in PSE 2024 to automatically change eye direction. I have found a good tutorial online that explains how to do it manually but not automatically using Elements. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5xcyaaH9ZQ&t=29s This involves copying the eyes to a new layer, moving them and tidying up with the clone tool and layer masks etc. Using PSE 2024, under Enhance/adjust facial features/ its possible to change head tilt and gaze. Under guided edits/Special Edits/Perfect portrait/ its possible to, "open closed eyes" etc. But I can't see anywhere to change eye direction. Is it possible to do this automatically in PSE 2024? or can it only be done manually in advcanced edit mode?  Kind regardsChris

On 18th August 2022, I bought Photoshop Elements for £86.56. My order number is AE01189201632CGB. I have used it many times but I cannot now open the app and it asks me for a serial number which I don't have.  

After upgrading from PSE 2020 to 2025 I cannot get the Organiser to function properly. I can select the previous Catalogue version and convert it, however the programe becomes unresponsive, e.g. File, Edit etc. menus. I am using Microsoft Onedrive for file management, so was thinking this might be part of the problem. However, PSE 2020 continues to work fine. After numerous attempts to uninstall/re-install, plus delete residual folders created by 2025 install, I am at loss. Anyone had similar problems?

I shoot onto both SD and QSL cards with my Nikon D500. Normally, when I get ready to download files from the QSL card in the card reader, I'll open the first file (JPEGs) on the card, and do a brief edit on it. After doing said edit, I try and save the changes to that card, but when I do, the program freezes 100%, and I can't do a thing with PSE at all until I go to Task Manager, select End Task and close it out. This started happening with PSE 2023, and I've just installed PSE 2025, and the problem continues. This DOES NOT HAPEN when I'm working with JPEG  fies on SD cards,  just with the QSL cards. (And it never happened previously when working on files on the QSL cards I use prior to earlier this year - 2024.) Anybody have an idea what's happening here? It's very frustrating, to say the least. Thanks for any help in this regard.

i HAVE adobe elements 2020 on my window 10 laptop. In some cases it will not download :upgrade the adobe elements 2025- explain if this should happen why, .concerned about: my current 2020 organizer vs organizer on adobe elements 2025 will it intergrate properly?have about 15mb on my Asus window 10 laptop how much space do I need? CAn I choose parts of 2025? intersted in the upgrade of the tools, for editing , i do not need video ( which i think is not offered in the regular adobe elements, anyway. REad that window 10 will not be supported after Ocotber 2025- if I buy a new computer it will automatically have window 11 on it - will i have to reinstall 2025? HOw will i be able to transfer all my data that is in the organizer to a new computer which i am seriously  considering, Does it matter what version of window 10 vs window 11 that i mighy upgrade too will adobe elements work with either verison of window 10 or 11?

In quick mode the tool bar shows Adjustments, Quick actions, etc but on the right side whichever is selected there is just the whirling symbol as if it is loading. In guided mode there is a similar whirling symbol but the guided edit option do not appear. The editor works fine in Advanced mode.

It appears Adobe has forgotten who their clients are for their Elements products. Its the occational user. This new subscription model of theirs is nothing more than a money grab. I use Photoshop Elements 15 and was going to upgrade until I saw it was only for a 3 year term and after that it will stop functioning. i only use it probably 15 times a year. When I need it I need it, paying $70 every 3 years for a product I occational use is absurd. I plan on using Photoshop Elements 15 until the OS no longer supports it and I'll be looking at Gimp or Corel Draw. Its time to send these corporations a message. Right now with all the subscription plans I have I have to spend $600 per year just to use my computer. I need to cut costs. Finding alternatives may not be easy but I'm willing to learn. Quicken wants $90 per year for their product, I create a different account every year just so I can get it at $50. Hello all! First off, I'm a very novice PSE user, but fairly tech comfortable when it comes to following directions and such. But, I'm definitely over my head here, so I'm hoping someone knows how to accomplish this task without me messing up my PSE Catalog.     🙂 So, after following the instructions I found on Adobe's website, I successfully backed up my old PSE-11 catalog (~40,000 photos) from a Windows 10 computer and then ran "Restore Catalog" on my new Windows 11 computer with PSE-2025. After processing for a long time, it appears to have successfully restored all of my photos, but unfortunately they are in the wrong location. The restore created a set of sub-folders within my main folder (see attached diagram) so that now my pictures that were originally in C:\Users\Rob\Pictures (shown in green below) are instead placed in C:\Users\Rob\Users\Rob\Pictures (shown in red below). I would very much like to move all of those pictures into

I have tried to change the location where my imported photos on my iMac are stored.  I have gone to Preferences/Camera or Card Reader/Save files in/Browse.  I hve changed the location to where I put all my photos on an External HD.  Click OK.  However, the new location doesn't stick.  I have to continually change from the default "User/regmikewall/Pictures to my desired location. Why is this happening?  How can I permanently change the location. Thanks in advance for your help Michael

Hello all,This is my first post and I apologize for its length.I've been using PSE 13 since 2014. (I know I'm behind the times, but it does what I need.)A few weeks ago oddly, my Windows 10 PC crashed and coincidentally, my Seagate back up drive failed right about the same time.I logged into my Adobe account to find my product keys for PSE & PRE and downloaded both programs in the same version (13) that I owned.During installation, I was asked to sign into Adobe for verification which I did and installation proceeded. I put in my product key when asked and thought all was well when installation was complete.I tried to open PSE and got a message saying I need to sign in to Adobe AGAIN for verification or some such. After signing in again & again, I still cannot use the program, I keep getting blocked by the same sign in screen.In less that 24 hours I tried 5 times without success, I'm beside myself. I haven't yet tried PRE, frustration level is too high. 🙂 I'm very comfo

I am trying to download Photoshop Elements 2020 (since that's the one I've got a license for, it came with Premiere Elements 2020 which I've been using since I bought it), and the installer requires me to log into my account in order to continue with the download. However, when I try to do this, by clicking "Continue with Google", the Adobe ID screen that then pops up on my browser buffers indefinitely, so I can never actually log in. Is it the fact that I'm trying to download an outdated version, or is there something else going on that I can fix?

Hi there first post on here, i had previously bought photoshop elements 2021, and recently upgraded license to photoshop elements 2025, and this work fine on new computer but when i try and start the video part of it , this keeps saying start new trial. i thought this cam with the elements 2025 as i know i used this in the previous 2021 version .any help appreciated

Hi, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated:12+ year old PC died containing Adobe Elements 11 app and photos.Transferred dead PC's HD into new PC extra bay (now e: drive).I cannot open Elements on new PC (I cannot find exe file or method).I want to buy the latest Elements version, BUT I want to keep all of the TAGS that I had with my previous Elements 11 version.Do I need to find a way to install my previous Elements 11 on my new PC, before updating to latest Elements version? I am thinking that the TAGS amd other info would be lost if I just install latest Elements verson and import photos from HD placed in new PC.How do I install older Elements 11 onto my new PC? It was such a long time ago.Thank you for any suggestions. 

I take raw and jpeg images.  I just upgraded from Elements 2016.  Elements 2016 keep the jpeg amd raw images the same file name , ie   photo1.jpg / photo1.cr2  but Elements 2024 names the same files photo1.jpg / photo2.cr2.  Am I missing a toggle in 2024 that I didn't have in 2016 to keep the files the same name with different extensions? Thanks. 

A user in a facebook group posted this image.  When the mouse hovers over ia little popup appears "Set vertical scale"- I honestly don't know what that means.  Why not just use the percentage?    

I have photoshop elements 2024 (download version; not the creative cloud one) installed on laptop1. Can I also install it on laptop2? (won't be using laptop1 while I'm using laptop2). From what I read, it seems like I need to deactivate it on laptop1 before installing on laptop2...but maybe that's for PSE 2025 only, and PSE 2024 allows you to use it on a 2nd laptop w/o having to deactivate it on the first one? Thanks.

I am a new user to photoshop elements.  I am trying to import some jpeg files created from scanning old slides.  The files are organized into folders.  When i use the commands to select files and folders in organizer I cannot import anything.  I select the folder in which the files are stored and then click on Open and nothing happens.  The get media button never is "lit up".  I must be doing something wrong.  I have tried to get import to work on other digital picture folders but nothing happens.  

We own Adobe Photoshop Elements 10, Adobe Premiere Elements 10 and Lightroom 5 (all on CDs). I recently tried to install it on our new computer running Windows 11 and it crashed the whole system. Bad. I had to reimage the computer.  Is there a downloadable version that works on W11?  Or what's the update path?

Yes, you can update ACR to 16.0 in PSE 2024 if you wish.   There is no reason to do it, if you do not need it (Such as you literally just bought a brand new digital camera yesterday).   No, you do not need it "because it's the latest version."   No, you are not "missing out" if you don't get it, and manually install it.I went the manual install route just to see if it could be done.
