The new color mode has a bug when using a fade/dissolve in a clip and also having the detail module turned on at the sequence level. Here is how the clip looks mid dissolve with the detail module turned on: And here is the same frame with the detail module turned off:

Steps to reproduce:1. Edit a short section on a timeline that you want to export (3 or 4 clips)Tap the UP arrow on keyboard to select the first frame of the section Tap “I” to set the in point Tap the DOWN arrow on keyboard to select the last frame of the section Tap O to set the out point Export In to Out Result: ...An extra blank frame is added to the export. Looking closely at the timeline, it’s apparent that an extra frame has been added to the selection. As these are for a video loop, the black flash frame is apparent. Expected: ...In previous versions no extra blank frame was selected. Workaround: Step back one frame and tap O. Last frame is selected and no more. I’d love to see a third option in comparison view where it shows the clips side by side fully. Not just half and half.
Editors have long expressed that automatic track creation can disrupt their editorial flow because it can upset intentional track setups, in particular when the source has more audio channels than the editing sequence. This new preference allows you to stay in control of your timeline and keep your tracks organized. Now you can go into Settings/Preferences → Timeline → Turn off “Add tracks automatically when editing source clips into the Timeline.” This update directly addresses the feature request here: Thanks to everyone who took the time to share feedback and use cases -- your input helped shape this improvement. Please try it out and let us know if you see any issues. Settings: Uncheck “Add tracks automatically when editing source clips into the Timeline”Preference onThis screenshot shows what happens when the preference is on. When you drag a track with ten audio channels into a sequence with four audio channels, it automatically creates them. Preference On Preference off (new)Thi
When render-and-replacing multiple MOGRTs simultaneously, Premiere appears to check via their parameter configuration alone whether or not those MOGRTs are unique. However, duration does not appear to be considered, and this causes a problem if you render responsive design-time MOGRTs simultaneously with different durations but otherwise identical parameters. For example, in the sequence in the screenshot below, I have two instances of the same MOGRT for a ‘progress bar’ animation on V2. They have identical parameters, but different durations. After selecting both and rendering to ProRes 4444 simultaneously, you can see that only a single render file has been created ending in _24, and both instances have been linked to that. In this case, the render has been performed from the first instance of the MOGRT, and since it is longer than the second instance, the second instance ends its animation prematurely and holds on the last frame. Meanwhile on V3, there are two instances of the same
When applying in adjustment in the colour panel to the sequence and let's say click on any other adjustments for example contrast the panel disappears! See images:Adjustment in the SequencePanel Options visableThen when adjustingThen what I have to do is go back click on the adjustment in the sequence and try and do it again. This doesn't happen if the adjustment is at clip level. This is extremely annoying and with some of the features impossible to use.
I'm currently running macOS 27 Golden Gate Beta 3, and things have been really bad since updating.First, I found out I had to run this command:defaults write com.adobe.PremierePro "EnableFireflyFeatures" -bool NOThis fixed an issue where Premiere Pro would crash every time I placed anything on the timeline. After that, I discovered another bug: copying attributes from one clip to another causes the app to crash again. I haven't found a workaround for that one yet.I know some of these issues may need to be fixed by Apple, but since the first problem was resolved by disabling Firefly features, it seems like at least some of the crashes could be Adobe-related.At this point, Premiere Pro is extremely unstable on Golden Gate Beta 3, and I honestly don't know what to do. After Effects has also been crashing, even though I haven't changed anything besides updating the OS.
When in the new color mode, the comparison view does not allow me to select shots - and therefore I cannot use this feature. I briefly get a “from selection” box pop up top left, after using the thumnail view to select two bottom right, but these quickly disappear. Tested across a Mac Pro and MacBook Pro with the same issue on both.
When Premier 26.5.0 launches, I get an error “The shortcut ke “Adobe Premier Pro Defaults V6.keys is invalid.”When I select Keyboard Shortcuts… from the menu, Premier crashes every time.Crash logs attached.
The scopes in color mode often don't render. It's just a black box instead of the actual scopes. Happens more with larger projects, or when it's been open for awhile.PS, an opacity slider for the scopes would be nice, because they cover up a lot of the image.
I want to take the sequence settings off of only one clip and edit it freely for color
En el modo de color, cada vez que quiero empezar a realizar un ajuste la ventana se cierra y no me deja modificar, tengo que seleccionar de nuevo la capa de ajuste y ajustar
Hey everyone! We're excited to share a refinement to Ducking that just landed in Premiere Beta 26.5 (Build 12): Auto-update keyframes. This new option is enabled by default and is designed to keep your ducking in sync as your timeline evolves. No more manually regenerating keyframes every time you tweak a clip. What's New?With Auto-update keyframes turned on, Ducking now follows your clip changes automatically. As you trim, move, or swap out the audio you're ducking toward, the music ducking keyframes update on their own to match. Your mix stays in step with your latest edit decisions, without you having to think about it.Where to find itYou'll see the new toggle in the Ducking section of the Essential Sound panel, right above the Generate Keyframes button. It's on by default, but you can switch it off any time if you'd rather drive keyframe generation manually.Auto-update keyframes Why this mattersEditing is iterative. You move a clip, swap a VO take, re-time a section, and suddenly you
Description: I’m experiencing a bug in the current Premiere Pro Beta (version 25.6.0) related to manual masking and keyframe animation. When I draw a mask using the Pen tool or shape tools and attempt to animate it using Mask Path keyframes, the mask does not respond to changes. Even after enabling the stopwatch and adjusting the mask on different frames, the animation does not register—both keyframes remain identical, and the mask stays static.I’ve confirmed this behavior in multiple projects and tried the following workarounds:Toggling the Mask Path stopwatchManually adjusting the mask shape on different framesUsing different effects (Gaussian Blur, Lumetri Color)Resetting workspaces and preferencesNone of these resolved the issue. It seems the new masking system in the Beta is not properly linking manual mask adjustments to keyframe animation.System Info:Premiere Pro Beta v25.6.0Windows 11 Pro 64GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 LaptopThis bug is blocking my workflow, especially for subtl
When switching modes from edit to color, my default window setting get changed, even after setting and resetting custom saved workspaces. I use 3 monitors, and windows will be hidden behind one another, leaving 1 monitor completely empty, and I have to manually find the window and bring it back to the correct monitor every time I switch.
AI assistant feedback on audio effect to a clip (for later copy and paste to other clips audio)**Status on your request:** I can't add the audio processing effects right now. Every audio effect I tried — Parametric Equalizer, Dynamics, Mastering, Hard Limiter, Multiband/Single-band Compressor, even the basic Internal Highpass/Bass filters — is listed as available but gets rejected by the effect-add tool as "unknown." I confirmed the tool itself works (added and then zeroed out a test video effect on the same clip's video component to prove it, no visible change left behind), so this is a current limitation specific to audio effects in this environment, not something I can work around by retrying or picking a different effect name.**What that means for the EBU R128 pass:**- EQ (Parametric Equalizer / highpass cleanup) — blocked- Compression (Dynamics / Single-band Compressor) — blocked- Loudness normalization to -23 LUFS integrated / -1 dBTP true peak — blockedYou'll need to apply this

I want to work in a wide color space in Premiere, and I have a lot of experience doing exactly this in DaVinci Resolve. In Resolve, the ACES Transform / Color Space Transform node converts all my media to a wide working space, and the output transform tone maps beautifully. Critically, Resolve's tone mapping lets me push an image and fill the scopes as much as possible without breaking. In Premiere, the same approach falls apart. With tone mapping on, I get badly shifted colors and the overall image sits low in the scopes. When I try to push brightness up, the tone mapper caps me well before I can fill the scope.. it just pushes back down. I tried all the algorithms. Max RGB lets me push higher (closer to how Resolve behaves), but it introduces very odd hue shifts, and the highlight saturation control produces unnatural results. That makes grading wide-gamut footage in Premiere a real pain point.. effectively unusable.Right now this is genuinely breaking my workflow. I keep having to ro

In 2025, we updated Premiere’s timeline to make edit operations dynamic. Previously, editing showed a static blue box, and the timeline only updated after you released the mouse. With the dynamic update, everything refreshes in real time as you edit. Since that release, a small but passionate group of editors has let us know they strongly prefer the original, static behavior, especially when trimming. We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who shared their feedback, and especially to those who hopped on video calls with us to deep-dive into their workflows. We heard you loud and clear! In the latest Premiere beta, we’ve added a new preference to give you control over this behavior. You can now toggle this feature via Preferences > Trim > Update timeline dynamically during ripple edits. Here is a quick look at the setting in action. Please try it out and let us know your thoughts in the replies below. We look forward to hearing your feedback!

I placed some video clips onto one sequence, end-to-end, then set the sequence Start Time to match the first clip. Then, I asked the Assistant to move all the video clips on that sequence to their respective timecodes, so that the first frame of timecode for each clip would match the sequence timecode. The Assistant said it couldn’t do that because the clip timecodes aren’t visible to it.
