So we're into the latest beta 22.1.0 Build 5 and the header bar still has its "clean look". Well it doesn't work. It's like someone working in the User Experience department at Adobe was after a promotion and said, 'Hey look, I've spent months cleaning up the header bar, can I get paid now, and maybe a promotion? What I've done is so innovative.' The manager says, 'Oh wow, that looks great. So clean. What a great user experience that will be!! Here's your pay rise and you can be incharge of the next product's UX.' I mean, come on. People hate not having their Workspaces up thte top. It's something we use ALL THE TIME. Adobe people, stop saying "I've been an editor for 10 years and I got used to it". Stop drinking the coolade and thinking your company knows what the users want and we just have to suck it up. Just listen to your customers. It's dumb. Put it back the way it was. Rant over. I'm sorry I had to be this blatant about it to get peop
We are super excited to announce that speech to text transcription is now open to everyone in public beta. If you already have access through the early access program, you can continue to use it in the beta. Thank you to everyone who has given us fantastic feedback, it has been extremely helpful. A new trackItem property - disabled - will be added in the next release, and is available for testing now in Beta version 22.0.0 build 130 and later. It allows for adding a boolean value to clip > enable, effectively allowing the API to flip the clip enable UI switch: Once V22 ships, this will be fully documented in the Premiere Pro Scripting Guide, and a new button will be added to the Premiere Pro Sample Panel (SDK) , which will look a lot like this: Code sample is below enableAllDisabledClips : function () { var sequence = app.project.activeSequence; if (sequence) { var trackGroups = [sequence.audioTracks, sequence.videoTracks]; var trackGroupNames = ["audioTracks", "videoTracks"]; var updateUI = true; for (var groupIndex = 0; groupIndex < 2; groupIndex++) { $._PPP_.updateEventPanel(trackGroupNames[groupIndex]); var group = trackGroups[groupIndex]; for (var trackIndex = 0; trackIndex < group.numTracks; trackIndex
I'm getting four identical error window(see attached image) when I open a project that was fine in the previous upload. If you click continue on them the program crashes. If you ignore and move them to the side the program seems to continue working ok.
I've resorted to try the Beta version. Having the same issue in 15.4.1. Everytime I try to open a previous project or try to create a new document I get the blue loader bar up to about 75- 80% full. Then I get the Beach Ball. Crashes. Force Quit.Tried Reseting Preferences. Cleared Media Cache. Reset Plug-in Cache.I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Even tried older versions. Restarting my mac completely. Etc.Reading threads and discussions. Spent a day troubleshooting.I'm stuck. Need this app working daily for my job. Please help!!

Update to Build 141 yesterday and this error in the image attached popped up when I opened a project from a few weeks ago. How can I fix this?
I have been using the Premiere Pro BETA as the standard version has all kinds of glitching issues, but no the BETA keeps crashing on loadup and gives me this error!I have spoken to Adobe but they have refused to help or offer advice as they dont cover BETA issues. Can anyone offer any help or advice, as im super frustrated by the whole thing at the moment. Many thanks
I just upgraded to the latest Premier Pro (Beta) 22.0.0 build 147 and Big Sur 11.6 and got the following error then it tried to save the project and then quit. I need some help because I can't go back to a previous version and open what I have been working on.
Using the most recent public beta, and a PC with a 2080Ti GPU. Current 15.4.1 shipping version works fine. But today the public beta will run for about five minutes, then either freeze the image of the program monitor and scopes with a black transmit out monitor, or both the program monitor and transmit out go black. Will check tomorrow for different drivers. Neil
Cannot import after effects into Premiere Pro. Motion Graphics created in After Effects crashing at 15%.
This expands the list of color managed codecs. H264/HEVC represents the majority of DSLR and mirrorless prosumer cameras on the market, and XAVC-L / XAVC Slog are heavily used in broadcast HDR workflows. “Color managed” means that Premiere Pro read the color tags in the file metadata and accurately converts the file to the sequence color space. If the color spaces of the file and sequence are the same, the Premiere Pro passes the colors through to the sequence without conversion. Color management is necessary for HDR production. Codecs that are not color managed will always be interpreted as Rec709, which worked just fine for a long time. But with HDR becoming more and more mainstream, proper color management is necessary. The RGB curves will now adjust size and aspect ratio to dynamically expand along with the Lumetri panel, rather than locked in a 1:1 aspect ratio. You can also select an individual curve directly from the channel selection circles. Or by grabbing the curve directly in the curve area, and making adjustments directly to that channel. This makes it easier for users to scale up the RGB Curves UI for finer control over making curve-based adjustments to the overall image, or on individual color channels We want to know what you think. Would it be possible to add a keyboard shortcut function to this button highlighted in this image?
Now available in the latest Premiere Pro (Beta) build are new features to help manage clip thumbnails in the Project panel: Multi-Cam thumbnails now show camera angle 1 by default Use existing Multi-Cam keyboard shortcuts to choose the camera angle used for the thumbnail Keyboard shortcuts now let you adjust and clear the poster frame for one or more clips at once Multi-Cam thumbnails now show camera angle 1 by default Previously, the thumbnail of a Multi-Cam clip was the last camera angle (or track) of the Multi-Cam sequence. Have two cameras? Your thumbnail would be camera 2. Have eight cameras? The thumbnail would be camera 8. Because editors often want to see the first camera, the default thumbnail for Multi-Cam clips is now camera angle 1. Use existing Multi-Cam keyboard shortcuts to choose the camera angle used for the thumbnail Use the “Select Camera #” keyboard shortcuts to switch your Multi-Cam th
You can now choose to automatically shut down your computer when the entire Media Encoder render queue is complete. Check the option at the bottom of the queue. This is useful to save energy by powering down the system after a long overnight render job for example. Media Encoder will issue the shutdown command to the OS, but other apps could still interrupt the shutdown process at the OS level, so be sure to quite those other apps. This option is sticky, meaning it will still be checked the next time you launch Media Encoder. Be careful testing, because . . . your computer will shut down . . . which is the intention of course 🙂 This feature is available in AME beta 22.0 build 89 and later. We want to know what you think. If I'm playing a sequence, and I've realised I do/do not want it to loop at the end, if I click the 'loop playback' button (or press a keyboard shortcut that I've allocated to it) playback stops. It shouldn't; playback should continue until the end of the sequence, then PPro should take notice of the new state of 'loop' and then decide whether or not to stop playback or loop it.
I've been driving myself crazy trying to isolate an issue I'm having in the Premier Pro Beta. I'm getting random glitches in my footage, that are not present in the source files. I've also attached my sequence settings and export settings. Clip, straight of of camera:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZALg9h_VDLM Premier Export, 100%, 20% and 20% w/ color:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jgx4ZT2YlwQ The glitching you're seeing in the exported version is not the same as I'm seeing in program. it changes time and location, but it is still present. Machine: Mac Mini M1 w/ 16gb of ramCamerea: Sony a7s3, 4K XAVC-S 120p 4:2:2** Project and files are all from an external drive So far I have tried:-adjusting Lumetri options (takes a glitch away here, adds another one somewhere else)-deleted Lumetri and exported raw (no help)-1080 timeline (no help) Any help would be appreciated - I have several hours into this now and it's driving me crazy. Happy to provide additional
In the current beta (ver 22.0.0 build 117) and in the previous build, my Tangent Elements movement keys that correspond to (and are mapped) to J-K-L do not do anything when tapped. Even with the key-shorts reset. They work perfectly in the current 'shipping' version and all past versions. Neil
bug
After pressing the transcibe button, the message "Creating auto transcription..." pops up with the bar that says it's rendering the audio. But that's as far as it goes. Even though I can keep working (so it doesn't freeze the laptop), after a couple of hours, there is zero progress on the bar. And I tried this with different lengths of the video, just in case it was too large the first time around. I'm guessing it could be that I'm using a Macbook Air with an M1 chip. On Monday I'll retry on a Mac Pro. Steps to reproduce: 1. Imported Video.2. Created new sequence. 3. Opened text window and push the transcribe button.4. Progress bar appears. Result: No progress appears to happen. After a few hours, no result from Premiere on the transcription.Expected: Captions by now. Or at least the progress bar to advance, so I know there is progress going on. System info Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v15.0.0.BUILD
I'm on 22.0.0 Build 71, and I've noticed that the last couple of releases have really struggled with playback. I've been working on the same project for a week or so, on the same PC, same footage, same drives etc, but each time I've updated PPro, it's got more and more laggy and reluctant to play stuff back. For example, I have a 1920x1080 25fps sequence, with some 1920x1080 25fps footage in it - nothing too challenging. I've added a few 'Mister Horse' transitions (it adds two adjustment layers and a sound effect). In last week's PPro versions, it'd play back real-time, no problem, every time. In Build 71, I'm lucky if I see one frame of the transition. Nearly all my timeline is red (last week it was grren or yellow). I have a simple Lumetri grade on some of the shots - if I open the project in the public release version of PPro (15.4.1 Build 6), those shots are marked as yellow in the timeline and play back perfectly. The 'Mister Horse' transitions also play back perfectly (despite be
When I moved my .kys file into the Keyboard shortcuts folder in PP they aren't showing up. Is this someone knows about? PP 2021 updated as well but for that program I was able to restore the .kys file to the right spot. Xanti
I see Adobe added a bunch of Sony and Canon log camera spaces to the override list in interpret footage. What is really the use for this when there is still no full manual colormanagement. Why would I want to do a straight conversion from say Sgamut/Slog to rec.709/2.4 without any tonemapping whatsoever and have half of my image clipped. And why only a selective list of overrides? Where is RedWideGamut/Log3G10, ARRI LogC/ARRI Wide Gamut, sRGB, Display P3, AdobeRGB, ACEScg, etc etc... If the idea is to give users more control give us all control, not this. Separating colorspace and gamma choices for that would also make a lot more sense. Ultimately support for OCIO natively and accelerated for both AE and Premiere would be the best to ever happen.
Please can you not make Nest Source Sequence a default on the timeline?
