Premiere (Beta)

M1 Premier Pro BetaThe project loading bar (previously located in the bottom right corner) has gone. I found the loading bar very useful and was a quick way to make sure there were no errors and everything had loaded before starting to work on the project. PLEASE BRING IT BACKCheersJamie

The transcript area in the text panel goes blank after moving tabs or jumping into a web browser. I have to restart the software to get it to come back.

1) take 2 clips2) apply Morph Cut 3) select them  > create sub sequence or nestPremiere freezes and crasahes 

Essential Graphics suddenly won't select the right font.I was editing OK until AME started crashing with the warning that font was not found.I reopened the project to discover that Premier had chosen a different font than the one I was using, and it wasn't installed.So I tried to set it back, and it would NOT choose the right font.  You'd pick one and it would instead choose one that was between 2 and 6 fonts above the one I chose in the alphabetical list.  Same works for the global font replace. I picked the font and the name stuck in the dialog, but once executed all the graphics took the wrong font. For instance, I chose Architecture and got Antique Olive, 2 up in the list.  It gets wierder when choosing fonts in the EG dialog. There if you click on the one you want it will display the offset substitution. Strange thing, it was working OK until after restarting the machine, and it suddenly didn't like the fonts I chose. 

22.2.0 Build 53 The first time it crashed it displayed an error message and allowed me to report the crash. Now it just winks out while editing titles.  Steps to reproduce: 1. Have a timeline where you're inserting Essential Graphics on top of various clips down the timeline (about 50 titles needed.)2. Copy a title3. Move indicator to next clip and hit paste4. Double click the title in the screen and make the edit. Result: Usually it works, but when you least expect it the program crashes to desktop. I've noticed it does it if you fat-finger a typo and press two keys simultaneously. But I tried that after relaunching and it didn't crash.

i am wxporting video in beta version but i dont show any seq in export tab or i press cntr+m its dose'nt work, and in export meny its shows there is no source detection. System info    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v22.2.0.53    OS: Windows v10.0.19042, RAM: 63.93 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 16

I do not see any difference between Auto Color Correcton in Premiere 22.1.2 and Auto Tone in the latest Beta Version of Premiere.

i do create sequence with media and active it. when go on export tab, all option is locked

The screen that opens after click on "New Project" is terrible. It is confusing. It's impossible to easily find where any information is stored, it's impossible to figure out how to create and name a project and form the settings for the first sequence.It appears to be hard-coded to making useless sample media an unmovable or non-deletable "favorite," does not include a "local" button to the default "video" folder, and proivides no means by which settings, such as aspect ratio, rendering engine, or audio can be set.This is a serious bug and needs to be replaced with the legacy screen. Even returning to the "home" screen in hopes of being able to create a project and establish settings loops back into this useless mess.

HI , I have been trying to export my videos , somehow videos after rendering look wat too much saturated, that is completely is unusable video.  I am not sure the reason ,  even If switch my render and playback settings to software only , still the same. anybody has this issue ?? I have shot the videos in iPhone and trying to edit them.  Any help will be appreciated.  ThanksNiranjan

captions are broken, it doesnt create a new caption when i click on the + icon.

How do I remove the Sample Media Screen?

Loving the transcript feature that you all are working on. I would like to request the following.the ability to have the text synced to the clip and not just the sequence.The ability to select a string of text and have it convert to in and out pointsWhen exporting the transcript to a text file I would love to have the speaker as well as the timecode references to export with it. Or at least the option to turn them on or off when exportingThanks guys for your great work keep it up!

when i am tring to transcribe the sequence, it say "UNABLE TO CONNECT TO CLOUD SERVICE"

 The revamp of Premiere's captioning feature (prior to this beta) no longer allows you to move around a caption object as you would a video object by allowing you to change the position values in the Motion section of Effect Controls.  There are many special non-broadcast special use cases where precise positioning of stylized captions are necessary. But Premiere's caption positioning doesn't even allow placement beyond any of the title safe margins. Also, the slider values continue to go accrue, even as the caption object has stopped moving. 

Hello,  the text window goes empty when I clic on transcript... tryed to reset preference and cache (alt+shift on lauch), deleted cache, it worked 2-3 times but now same painfull problem again, the text window goes empty when I clic on transcript, can't do anything.I tried to import an other srt file but I can't split rows or add captions, only edit existing captions, bit annoying.using premiere cc 22.0 built 169

The new transcription tools works well however after transcription, when clicking the "Create Captions" button, nothing happens. I watched an Adobe tutorial and when the guy in the tut clicks the button, it automatically creates a sequence of captions in the timeline. Seems to be a bug in the Beta version at the moment? 

22.2.0 Build 29 We have progress! The audio settings of a preset (when audio is to be disabled for silent export) are passing to Media Encoder correctly, but it's displaying wrongly in the Export window. 1. Select an in-out point on a timeline and select Export.2. Choose a preset that has audio disabled.3. Audio "switch" in Export dialog displays audio is off.4. Send to AME. Note in AME that the audio setting is disabled, as it should be.5. Select another set of in-out points on the timeline., select Export.6. Note that the same preset is selected, but that the Audio is switched on.7. Without changing anything, go ahead and send to AME.8. Note in AME that audio is in fact disabled, which is what we want. Result: Things work as they should but the display does not show that audio is disabled in the Export window.

Have you ever set out to make multiple edit point selections, only to accidentally click in the wrong place and wipe out all of your selections thus forcing you to have to go back and start the selection process all over again?  Well fear not my friends, because the beta now contains a keyboard shortcut called ‘Restore Trim Selection’.     To access, open the keyboard shortcut panel (Premiere Pro menu on Mac, Edit menu on windows) and search for ‘Restore Trim Selection'.  Enter your desired keyboard shortcut (No shortcut is assigned by default).  Then when you make your edit point selections (hold down shift and keep clicking edit points in the timeline), if you accidentally miss the edit point and all your selections are removed, simply hit your keyboard shortcut and your edit point selections will be restored.   Things to note:   Restore Trim Selection restores only the last selected edit point(s), it is not part of the undo stack.   If yo

Hi there,There is a bug in the importscreen. There is no playhead on the videos if you scrub through them.

When generatin captions sometimes it shows two lines with only a couple words on the top line and several on the bottom.  Character count is set to 45.  Sure seems like it should show as many characters as it can on the first line and wrap those that can't fit onto the second line.  Ultimately it would be great to give us control to set character counts for both line of a multiple line Caption.  Also...when will we be able to upload our own script that the Transcription process can use for more accurate Transriptions?  Thanks!!!

22.2.0 Build 25 Suddenly I cannot play back. When I hit spacebar, the pointer moves and the timeline counter counts, but nothing changes in the Program window.  When I stop it refreshes on the last frame stopped. I was adjusting  L-R positioning of the image in the frame using the Position numbers in Effect Controls, and had successfully done several dozen clips when the PB engine started freezing. An app restart will probably clear it up. 

22.2.2.0 Build 17 Ran into an odd quirk with the Export window.  It's easy to accidentally close Premier if you're not paying attention. So here's what happened:I've been exporting a lot of clips, and I lost where I last exported one to. To check I went to Export just to see what the last path used was.  Seeing it, I was ready to go back File Explorer to find the file, and in the absence of the cancel button, I clicked the red X.  I got a "do you want to save" dialog, and no I did not want to save the export, so I clicked No.  Premier closed!  I lost my work.  Doh! The issue is the Export takes over the whole screen and the normal Windows navigation LOOKS LIKE it will just close the Export dialog. Instead it will close the whole program.First the Export window needs a Cancel button that will take it back to Edit.Second, it might be best if the Export window pops up in a window that can be closed with normal UI gestures independent of the pro
