Premiere Elements

I have an issue with trying to create a new project in Premier Elements 12. I can add the video clips without a problem but when i try to view what i added all i get is audio. I know the video portion exists because i can view it in the Organizer portion of the program. I can also view the videos from other programs on my computer. These videos are .avi files from my Garmin dash cam. I have used them many times to create a movie or an event that was captured during my travels but for some reason I cannot view anything I bring into the program now. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

My lifetime valid serial nr. for Premiere Elements is not working anymore...i moved from a windows pc to a Mac and downloaded the previous 2020 as that was the version I boight the license for. What to do next? 

My project is to capture VHS (through a Hauppauage USB device) using VirtualDub, load into an older version of Premier Element, edit, burn to DVD. For VirtualDub, I downloaded and installed lossless video codecs Huffyuv, Lagarith and UTVideo, as well as lossy H.264. My INTENDED workflow was to capture with the AVI container (what VirtualDub does) using lossless compression such as Huffyuv and PCM uncompressed audio. My captures, as they appear in VirtualDub or VLC media player, are ok.When I load the resultant AVI in Premier Elements, there is no video track and no audio track. If I recapture using Huffyuv and a compressed audio codec such as AAC, the resultant AVI will load the audio into Premier Elements, but no video. What Conclusions? Is it so that Premier Elements does not recognize Huffyuv as a video codec? Would the same be true of Lagarith and UTVideo? And does Premier Elements not recognize uncompressed (PCM) audio? If intending to edit in Premier Elem

I've searched the forum but can't find this specific solution.  I want to take short clip and rotate it over the length of the clip so that at time 0 the clip is 0 degrees and at finish time, the clip has gone though a 90 deg rotation to the left.  Does anyone know how this can be done?  What I have is a phone video that started out portrait and then partway through turned landscape.  I want to actually rotate the video to make it turn on screen so that it ends up in portrait.  I have no problem doing a rotate of the part that's horizontal after the phone rotate so it appears normal, it's the transition I want to "undo".  Not sure if that makes sense to anyone.  Kind of hard to explain.

I have somehow become enrolled in a Trial program for Premiere Elements 2021, which I do not want.  How do I cancel this?  Adobe is per usual annoyingly opaque on this.  Thank you. 

I am building a slideshow and would like to add two effects. The first is I am using a scceen roll-up of text describing slides. When the roll reaches a certain point on the screen I would like to freeze it there until the end of the clip. Is that possible ?The second effect is to have a title on a slide flash to bring attention to that part of the slide.If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.    

Hi allI get that Adobe company doesnt give a damn about any kind of GPU acceleration on this productI have a high end RTX 2080 GPU and nothing is accelerated .... fine ... Adobe doesnt care but ...opening Candid moments on 1 hour 1080p video uses 29 GB of ram and 100% cpu (16 cores cpu) for 10 minutes of a time. This is unacceptable . I talked with support person and they told me to make a new user account . This is not the solution , why should i make another Windows 10 account ?Adobe please fix your crappy software

Does anyone know if there's a way to set a default text style? Because it's kind of annoying to have to go in and change the text every time. And if there isn't, PLEASE ADD ONE

Hi im actually looking for a relative cheap way to edit my videos. I record Gameplay and Camfootage with a resolution of 4096x1440 60fps. Its basicly a 2560x1440p Gameplayvideo with 1536x1440p Cam Footage right besides it. For the final Video i want to Edit it to a 2560x1440p 60 FPS projekt, basicly cutting off the Cam Footage and laying it over the Gameplay. Can Elements handle those resolutions or do i need the big brother?

Hey guys so basically I've been having pretty major issues with my videos. They will freeze at a certain point in playback because of a certain effect that I like (earthquake) and I will have to restart the whole program. It's frustrating. I've also been having issues trying to render my timeline so it plays better. A message will come up saying its rendering but the bar will get stuck and I'll have to restart the program. Again, frustrating. I would completely understand this issue if I had lower end hardware, but I don't, I have an i9-10900k cpu, 64 gigs of ram, and a 2070 super gpu (which I can't use because it says it's unsupported). Playing back an 8 second clip with earthquake on it will use 99.4% of my cpu which doesn't seem right. It is also only using 25% of my ram which doesn't seem right either. All in all I just want to know if someone can help me with A. the supposedly unsupported GPU, B. dedicating more ram to the program.P.S. I've already tried dedicating more virtual me

I recently upgraded to premiere elements 2021. I created a video and want to burn it to a dvd for playing on my tv's DVD player. Unfortunately premiere elements 2021 does not support my Dell computer's DVD burner so I don't know how to proceed and what format to burn on the dvd. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Art  

After 2 years of working on a video with Premiere Elements 2019. I found, with great disappointment, that the export to Blu-ray function is no longer supported. Given the increasingly high definition of videos (HD - 4K - 8K!) And therefore the need for a greater availability of space on which to transfer the video, this choice by Adobe is completely incomprehensible. Can anyone suggest me how to export, complete with menus and then burn it to Blu-ray?

After no trouble for years, my Premiere Elements 11 has been acting up the last couple of months. At first when I opened it it said my driver was incompatible & needed to be upgraded and wouldn't open either and also froze my PC. OK, so I click on driver to check for updates, and I am told the most recent & best update has been applied. I have Windows 10 (not sure the version off-hand but just upgraded it. My display driver is AMD. OK, I then go to the AMD site, I take off the old driver and install their new version since the Elements message told me to upgrade my driver. It works and burns videos but when I close the program and sign-off my PC , when I sign back on and open it I got the same message again & had to repeat the whole cycle. Now, I had disabled the driver because even the updated AMD procedure didn't work after a while. I was able and am able to put a video together on the timeline and it opens, saves, but when I go to burn I get a message I had before that I

Hello.  I currently own a copy of Adobe Premiere Elements 2018 and was wanting to upgrade to Premiere Elements 2021.  Is there a special upgrade discount for people who own previous versions of Premiere Elements or do I have to pay full price?  If there is, how do I go about getting it when purchasing Premiere Elements 2021?  Please let me know.  Thanks!

Hello, I purchased Adobe Premiere Elements 13 a few years back on Amazon.com. Now if I try to download the software, it fails to go to the download link. I've my receipt and product key. Is this software already discontinued? As I purchased it, shouldn't I be able to download it anytime I want?

Hello, I made a big mistake in my catalogue. Accidently I added a new location to all of my pictures.As I detected my mistake I deleted the Pin and with that all assigned location information.Is there a possibility to redo the automated detection of the location based on the GPS data as made during the initial import of the photos?A reimport is not working. If I delete one photo out of the catalogue and import it again the location and Pin are added again.Any ideas?Best RegardsFrank

Has anybody else out there experienced that elements (images, shapes, texts) that you had perfectly positioned fail to reappear at this precise position after e.g. closing and reentering the title ? Could that be my fault ? Is there a safe way, without exact coordinates being accessible ? Thanx for any idea.

I upgraded from Premiere Elements 2020 to 2021. In 2021, none of my files can be viewed anymore, although they were ok in 2020. Many of the clips are filmed on my Samsung S10+ or my Canon HDR camera. What is wrong? Are there codecs not compatible with 2021?

After two years of no problems with transitions... this past week when I move a cross dissolve between two clips it doesn't settle between both of them but to just one... and worse yet when I click on the transition to adjust it... there is no response.  Does anyone have an idea how I can fix this issue?  I have a neat movie about water that I'm working on and need to get it finished.   -Sky

I'm looking for an editor to edit 4K videos from my GoPro Hero7. I haven't had any luck. Thought I would test the free version of Premiere Elements 2021. I bought the $.99 Hevc video extension, still doesn't work, says to delete the Media Cache in the line below. I can't find the location%appdata%\Adobe\Common"I'm running Windows 10 in an i7-8700 processor desk top. I am editing some concert footage for our community band. The footage I have straight off the card shows zero light flicker in QuickTime Player. Once I import the clip into PE and into the timeline, now the clip has a lot of flicker happening. I did apply the anti-flicker tool that comes with the app, but it had zero impact on the exported video. Any suggestions or solutions? Thank you!
