Hi allI have a core i9 16 core at % Ghz CPU , 32 Gb and and rtx2080 SuperIf i want to export a modified 1 hour mp4 with original size 800 Mb it takes me around 10 minutes with max CPU loadAlso my GPU acceleration is greyed out (thats another issue)Is this normal ?

I am new to video editing and I am trying to edit some go pro videos and keep running into issues.  I try the guided setting and keep getting the media pending screen.  Now I have a debug event.  Or it just hangs up.  Any ideas of what I may be doing wrong?  I have uninstalled and reinstalled.  Thanks/

I created most of my videos yerars ago down loading video from  my camcorder using Premier Elements 7. If I purchase Premier Elements 2021 will I be able to access and edit my old videos that I have on file? The reason I ask is that I do not believe that Elements 2021 will recognise my Panasonic NV-GS280 Mini DV camcorder to enable me to import my original Mini DVs videos which I still have.

Hi All,I'm very new to video editing and am struggling a little with this topic lol.I'm essentially trying to edit my GoPro hero 6 in 2.7K 30FPS and edit it in a 2.7K Timeline on Adobe Premier Elements 2018 and then export 1080P at 30FPS. When I drop the 2.7K 30 FPS clip into the timeline the frame size in project settings is showing 3840X2160 which I think is 4k is that correct should it be doing that? Additionally, for some reason if I drop 2.7K 60FPS it shows 1920X1080 and not 2704X1520 (which is 2.7K) or 4K, why is that? Is there a way for it to show the correct frame size? If not is there even a point in filming in 2.7K if it just gets moved back to 1920X1080 for 60FPS? I believe the whole point in filming in 2.7K is to have the higher resolution just in case you want to zoom in or crop etc. correct? Thank you for the help!

I like this program very much - but one thing could still be better, after stabilizing of a clip are the last few pictures of the clip somehow "gaining distance". If i cut them away, the new last ones show often the same problem. Its pity! Thanks for fixing it! Peter Mraz, CH

My Premiere version is 2021 and I'm on Windows.I've been working on a project in 2018. I opened Premiere 21 today . When I tried to open the project today i got the following message: the file cannot be loaded, possibly damagedI already tried to import the project to a new project but I get the same error. I can't lose all my work! Please, I need help!

Hi, I'm using Premiere Elements 2020.I've been trying to get the text to animate using the preset, "Fade in by line", I followed all the instructions on this page: https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-elements/kb/unable-apply-text-animation-presets.htmlBut it still won't work. Even though it allows me to "apply" the desired preset, it just fades in all at once instead of line by line. Any help would be much appreciated.Thanks

I've been a Photoshop elements user for a few years and in December, I purchased premier elements as well.I tried dabbling with the Premiere during the Christmas break but wasn't having any luck, so gave up. Tried again recently, even watched some YouTube videos and I realized the problem is that I can't even preview the project.I uninstalled and reinstalled the program and I'm still having the same issue.Furthermore, along with the Elements 2021, I ended up with Creative Cloud. I don't know what it is, why I have it, or if I need it, but it spins and spins and never opens so it's useless anyway. Not sure if the two issues are tied together.

I'm wondering if there is a way to have the video playback return to the position it was in prior to starting playback.I use the keyboard spacebar to start and stop the transport but it always stops right where it is.I'd like it to go back to the place in the video where I started playing.My audio software has an option setting to do that but I can't find anything like that in Premier Elements 14 (2020). Any help will be greatly appreciated.

After inserting a project asset PE2020 does not show the monitor. This can take several minutes. I think it happened after the last update. I can still save the project but clicking the play button has no effect.It's very frustrating.The same happens when I click the render button. Rendering starts with a dialog like this:The estimated remaining time shows a very strange number and after a long time the real time is displayed and then the rendering starts.Any help to avoid this is very much appreciated.I'm running PE om Windows 10kind regardsReyer

Hello, I've got a Problem with Premiere Elements 2021:I render a sequence of clips and randomly some of the clips are shown like this below.I am rendering on a Ryzen 5 3600 / RTX2070S combo without HW support.Codec input is HVEC4:2:0  Any Ideas? When playing back the clips in e.g. VLC or Windows Movies, there are no issues.

I am using Premiere Elements 2020. In the Pan & Zoom Tool, when I go to change the Hold Time of an image, the font size is coming out too large so I am not able to see the full 8 digits at once.  See image below If I click in the box I can edit all the numbers by using a cursor key but it doesn't show the numbers as you are doing it so it is a bit hit and miss sometimes when  I want to enter a specific duration. Is there anywhere to change this font size to make it easier to know where you are typing?

I own Adobe Premiere Elements 13. Do I still have to pay for Adobe Premiere Elements 2021? 

I've been having a problem recently on Premiere Elements where I add 3-4 videos to my timeline and edit them. Initially, they all look perfect and flow well together but suddenly one of the videos starts to flicker and goes completely black. When I look through it, it's suddenly become a compilation of the 3 other videos in my timeline and the original video footage has disappeared. When I export the video, that portion of the timeline is just black or has somehow taken parts of the footage from clips from another part of the video. No idea how to solve this and I've never seen this happen to anyone. Any help would be greatly appreciated! 

I have Premier Elements 2019.  There were some directories still in the Program Files (x86) directory that were labelled Photoshop Elements 13.  I moved these out of the Program Files (x86) thinking they were no longer needed.  Now, Elements 2019 cannot ever load its workspace and spends a lot of time looking for its plugins.  I can eventually get it going by going back to the .exe file and starting it there but the opening "splash page" or the Desktop icon are no longer opening the progream.  I moved the Photoahop Elements 13 files back into the Program Files Directory to no avail.I still have the orignnal downloaded install file.  I presume that I need to uninstall the Premier Elements 2019 program and reinstall it.  I presume that  my photo file with the tags, albums, etc. will still be available unharmed.  Is this correct?  Any other suggestions?  Thanks

When I start the program, I get the info box that tells me about the latest update and gives me a button to click that downloads and runs the update program. I do that, and the update appears to download and go through the full update routine. However, when I start Adobe Premiere Elements 13 again, it gives me the box about the update, and the software is still at version 13.0. 

PSE has 12 Kanji graphic characters you can insert into a document/file. Unfortunately,when you select one of them, the "name" of each of the character is just "Character 1, Character 2, etc."  This is not helpful if you choose to use them.  I'd like to know what the meaning of each of the 12 Kanji characters;  for example, peace, harmony, water or whatever.Thanks

If you use keyframes for the zoom in Premiere Elements you can display a line that shows the scale of the clip over the time (right click on the clip in the timeline, select "Show Clip Keyframes", ...). This is very useful because you can change the bezier handles. There is just one problem: Let's say you want to zoom from 100% to 120% then the vertical change of the graph in the timeline is so small that it isn't useful at all. How can I change the vertical scaling of the keyframe graph? I tried to adjust the vertical scale of the clip in the timeline, but it wouldn't scale the graph.

Hi,I have the problem that high resolution images look very bad if I scale them with premiere elements 2021. Steps to reproduce:Add high resolution (e.g. 14 megapixel image) to timelineZoom in a little (e.g. to avoid black bars)Export Video Result: The image looks blurry and pixelated After a lot of searching I found out that this is a "feature". By default video/image clips are scaled to the frame size of the project. If you then rescale the image you'll upscale an already downscaled image. You can avoid this if you:Select the clip in the time lineChoose Clip -> Video OptionsDeselect "Scale To Frame Size" You have to do this for every clip and there is no way to change the default setting. In my opionion this is a bug or at least a very bad user experience.I would really appreciate if you could fix this
