Premiere Elements

I was wondering if I could upload videos off of PE 2020 to 60 fps and how to do it? Thank you all

This post is almost 3 years old, but I have this same issue as described above.  I've been recently using Adobe Premier Elements for video creation again (it's been a while).  A long time ago I used to use older versions of Adobe on an older PC and I loved it (circa 2005-2012).  Now, I've re-inherited my daughters college PC with AdobePE 2018 on it and was going to work on some projects again.  No matter what type of clip I import I can't get the audio to play.  The clips are MOV and MTS format, and can be played on windows media player so I know the audio tracks are embedded in them.  I've tried different headsets, changed the Audio Hardware preferences - every device I try including embedded PC speakers, USB headsets and simple audio jack connected devices show as "not working" and I get an MME error when I change devices to try.  I'm stumped.  I don't even see an audio sound track underneath the clip when I import the videos.  Any tips?

www.busyboxx.com has a collection of animated titles for After Effects (and Apple Motion and Final Cut Pro X), but I don't have After Effects, just Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements (v2021).  It looks like I couldn't use any of those titles without having AE -- it looks like Premiere Elements can't use AE files -- but I just wanted to make sure, if anyone here can answer that definitively for me. And assuming that this is true, are there any basic, cheaper alternatives that would allow me to use the animated titles? Thanks in advance for any information!

I've been trying to create a motion with the pre-made "bezier" option in keyframes. In this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=InrN097tg_E at 4:26 (I don't know if I'm allowed to post yt links), it mentions these 2 bars that are adjustable to make some type of curved line. However, I don't have premiere PRO, so I am wondering, is there a way to do this in premiere elements and how to do it?

HI. I am using Adobe Premier Elements for Mac, Version 18. 2020 and finding the Greenscreen option lacking. I note that there are more options in the Windows version. Has this been improved for Mac in 2021 version? If so, has enough been changed to make it worth while to upgrade and how much is the cost?Thanks Mike

Hi Guys & Girls,This is probably a rookie question but here we go .... I have exported videos I have made (just SD not even HD or 4K) and love the mp4 exports and color. But as soon as I uplaod clips to YouTube the color saturation takes a noticable dip.I have keep the project and export as per the orrigial content size (720x576 @25F/p) but it is really bad, dark and loses overall quallity. Just a reminder again Im working on Premiere Elemets 2020Any help to get my YoutTube to match my exports?Thank you!! 

I am using PRE 2019 on a Windows 10 PC to work on a movie that was originally a VHS video and the audio has a lot of background hiss.  I am trying to use the DeNoiser effect but whatever settings I select there is no apparent change to the noise.  I think that there must be some very basic thing that I am doing wrong.  Can you help please?

Bonjour, J'ai réinitialié mon Mac book pro et depuis Premiere elements 2019 ne se lance plus.Il s'installe sans soucis mais lorsque je le lance j'ai un message qui dit "Your application install seems to be damaged, Please reinstall the application" je l'ai désinstallé et réinstallé plusieurs fois mais rien à faire. Comment faire pour régler ce problème?

Hello again!I have two copies of PRE one on my Toshiba Satellite laptop and one on the desktop. 9 is on the laptop and 15 on the desktop. I have had some odd occurrences lately whilst capturing some old holiday videos on VHS. If I capture using a USB device to PRE9 on the laptop, the capture goes ok as an AVI file. However, when I put the file on the timeline it only shows the first minute. If I use the software that came with the USB device the audio lags by about 8 secs.I also have a Panasonic DVD recorder if I use that to capture the VHS footage and transfer it to DVD it seems fine. I then capture from the DVD into PRE15 on the desktop and bits are missing from the footage. I captured a  30min video onto the Panasonic then copied to DVD. The DVD had two VOB files. Copy the two VOB files to PRE15 it shows both VOB files and total time is 30mins, but the last 5 mins of the first VOB file are not there. If I play the DVD the missing footage is there and plays fine. If I capture th

When I upload a video from Premiere Elements it does not show the video filling the screen. I am updated to the latest version, and I do not DIRECTLY post to YouTube through Adobe.

Hi all,I paid for a stock video and it's a .mov file. It has a transparent background. When I try importing it into Elements (I have 2020) it gives me this error: The importer reported a generic error So I hopped into Movavi and converted the .mov to a .mov for fun, and re-imported to Elements and it worked fine. However, it removed the transparent background. I'm at a complete loss how to fix this issue or why Elements can't open the file to begin with. Any help would be appreciated, or how to maintain transparency when trying to re-convert it to allow Elements to import. Thank you.

Hello everybody, I have an image in Premiere Elements as a clip on the timeline. Now I want all four edges of the image to be more soft and smooth. I found that the "Edge Feather" effect does exactly what I want, just that it only applies to the horizontal edges of the clip at the top and the bottom. The vertical edges on the left and right of the image remain untouched. The image is not cropped or anything, and is also resized to totally fit the frame. See the attachment.Is this intended, or just another bug? In the small preview picture in the effects panel, it look like the softening should be done with all four edges. Hello,  I'am  Adobe Premiere Elements 2020 and Audio and Video are not synchron. When I place the same filmpart in Adobe Premiere Elements 15, I do not have the problem. I have a LG 4k screen,  NVIDIA Geforce GTX 960. Can someone please how I can fix this problem? Best Regards, Bert

Hello I am using Adobe Premiere Elements 2020 to edit videos, which has worked rather smoothly. However, lately, every time I open a certain project, folders appear on my desktop (I am using a Macbook). The folders are called "Adobe Premiere Elements Audio Previews", "Encoded Files", "Layouts", "Adobe Premiere Elements Captured Audio".... and so on. Whenever I delete these folders and reopen the project, they just immediately reappear on my desktop. How can I change where these folders are "stored"?

Hello,Instagram videos are backwards in the sense they require the size to be 1080x1920. I don't see how to create this size in Elements. Can someone please help?Thank you!

I make videos to playback while on my rowing machine.I take 50 or 60 videos, edit them down to about one-miute each, and then add photos I have taken. The problem I encountered is the time-stretch defaults to 4 seconds for the photos. I would like to make each photo last about 8 or 9 seconds during playback.When I "highlight" the photos to stretch the time to 8 or 9 seconds, the audio opens gaps between each song I have on the timeline.Is there some way to: 1) FREEZE the Audio that I have already added to the project so it won't change when I add the photos, or 2) Change the default setting for the photos from 4 seconds to 8 or 9 seconds before I begin adding them to the timeline?Thanks,Larry

I submitted this request to fix a bug a week ago and still no answer from Adobe.   I have discovered an annoying bug in PE 2021.  If you copy a line of text (CTRL+ C) before launching PE 2021, there is nothing to paste (CTRL + V) once you launch PE 2021 and attempt to rename the new project for instance.  Step to reproduce bug:Copy to clipboard the name of a folder that you want to use as the project nameLaunch PE 2021File/New Project and paste the content of the clipboard to the line project “Name”Result: nothing to paste – Need to copy folder name only once PE 2021 has been launched. Can anyone at Adobe fix this bug?

Hello guys. Ive have been getting to know Elements 15 for the past week (after previously using Sony Vegas)I have 2 main issues, but in this topic i would like to talk about and ask why, when i cut my clips and join them together i hear an audio pop between the clips.Its very frustrating because it happens only on some of the clips, but other portions of the video that i have cut and joined together are fine.I am using Windows 10 with 12gb ram, 64bit.The video files are 4k.I have read some previous posts on this subject which mention codes and upto date versions etc, but surely this cant be the case if half of the transitions are prefect with no 'pop' and the other half are popping. They are popping randomly through the video.I have tried to retrim the clips and join again to no avail. Really really annoying and cant send out a video in this condition.Hoping you guys might have a solution. Thanks.

I use Adobe Premiere ElementsI can create and export, to my computer, a beautiful video.I use the pictures and videos I have taken using my camera's.  I use a GoPro Hero 7 Black and my Samsung 8 Phone.  The details of the created video (after export) are: 1920 * 1080  / Date Rate 16080 kbps / Total bitrate 16277 kbps and the frame rate is 20.60 frames /second  /  The size is 968 MB.   (I take this information from Properties/Details)  When I click Export and Share and then Disc I come up with the following DVD Choices   SD720*480 and theframe rate is 29.97   I chose Disc under type and destination is my DVD Writer on my new HP desktop.   I then choose Burn - end result?  a very very poor quality video with moving grasses on the still photos and grainy shimmering movements on the camera videos. Now - I have also tried to burn this same video using (Roxio, Magix, Photostage and Windows Media Player)

I have a licensing issue. I have 3 hard drives with Elements Premier loaded.  1st, 2nd, and now 3rd.  2nd PC went bad, I got a 3rd PC and reinstalled Elements from a backup.  But wasn't able/didn't remove Elements from the 2nd PC (although I saved the hard drive and installed into the 3rd PC as drive 'E'.  When I run Elements from the 3rd PC, I get a message telling me that I am already running 2 copies and cannot run a third until I delete one.  I would like to keep the copy running on the 1st hard drive (as backup), and get rid of the copy (not running) on the 2nd PC. Any thoughts on this issue - how to get rid of the license on the 2nd hard drive that I will not be using?    

Hallo liebe Community, vor genau einer Woche habe ich mein erstes Video geschnitten mit dem Adobe Premiere Elements 2020 Programm. Alles funktionierte einwandtfrei. Ein paar Tage später habe ich ein neues Projekt angelegt. Der einzige Unterschied war, dass die Videodateien teils aus der GoPro waren und teils vom Handy (keine Ahnung ob das eine Rolle spielt). Sobald ich eines der Videos in die Spur einfüge bekomme ich nun grüne horizontale Linien (s. Bild). Ich dachte vielleicht liegt es an den unterschiedlichen Videodateien, deshalb habe ich anschließend wie beim ersten Video, wo alles fehlerfrei funktioniert hat, nochmal ein neues Projekt angelegt mit einem einzelnen GoPro Video mit der selben Framrate wie vom ersten Video. Leider kommen die grünen Streifen nun immer, egal was ich versuche. Ich lese seit Tagen online nach Fehlerbehebungen, das Problem wurde ähnlich beschrieben bei Premiere Rush, Pro usw. und da war es wohl ein Treiberfehler. Der dort genannte Treiber ist aber nur

I recently created a photo/music video in Premier Elements 2018. I saved all, then exported the video to a flash drive. This was done on 9/14/18. I went to this video today, 11/6/18, and all of the photos are missing, being replaced with a red and black image in each photo, but my jpg names are still there.  The audio portion is still there and works fine, but all photos are no longer showing. I created a video prior to this one back in March of 2018 and again in October 2018, and both of those still have the photos in the creation when I open them up.

I have downloaded a trial version of 2021 adobe premiere elements, and subsequenntly bought it. I was given the 24 bit serial number, but I seem unable to findthe route to register it on the buy systen. I am faced with  the unusable trial version.My expertise is low level. 

I can add audio caption to a picture, when clicking on the loudspeaker icon on the buttom-right of the picture. Hoever, I could not replace that original recording later, although the menu leads to to something reasonable by Edit>Clear, then record after pressing the red button, then click again to stop, then File > Close then save.Only way out is by deleting the audio capture file vi the Windows file manager, then recording a fresh caption.Any experiance on this?

I recently plugged my SD card into a reader into my laptops USB port, like I have many times before. I tried to upload videos from my card to Premiere Elements. All of the files were unable to open on either the software or my laptop there afterwards. After plugging my SD back into another laptop as well as the one I was using, the SD card was unreadable and needed to be formatted. Files still readable on my DSLR camera. After decided to format the card on my laptop, format was unsuccessful and now card is unable to read on my DSLR. Why did this happen? How can I prevent this from happening?
