Hey guys! I really need someone's help. I work on a big project now and I had a serious issue with PC so I moved all disks to another PC and of course the programm wanted to locate files. It took few hours and I was able to open the project. The problem is that apparently in the clips I got from the client there are the ones with the same names and premiere changed original ones with the wrong ones. In the library of imported files whole folders are wrongly put. What is strange, all clips that are wrongly put are highlighted with blue strips. How to change them for the right ones? Please help!!!!
Help!It finally happened. I'm out of space on my drive and need to move old contents off. Unforntutaly I'm not on NAS or SAN or RAID array so anything I do will ruin all the locations that my programs look for my media. Is there any way to tell my adobe products that everything is in the same file structure just in a different location without having to manually relocate every file? NOTE: I am not just going to move my whole library, the OLD stuff is going to go to a HDD for hot storage; but I am not going to keep my current projects or assets there. I am going to keep that stuff on my SSD so I cant just relocate the entire library. I just want to let the program know that this is going to happen: C:/videos/old / internal files and folders more old / internal files and folders even more old /internal files and folders
Hello everyone, I am brand new to premiere elements. I bought it to trim and combine screen capture videos on Win10 with an ultrawide monitor (3440x1440) w/ 21:9 aspect ratio. The videos I capture look and play normally on windows media player but when I import or add them to PE2020 the videos are not fitting or rendering correctly. I've seen a couple different adjustments made. In one variation the video is shrunk and large green blocks are used to fill in the empty space around the video. The other adjustment I've seen shows the video being duplicated to fit into the empty space. Any idea why this is happening and how I can fix this where I can work with ultrawide formats?
Adobe Premiere Elements automatically generates several folders and files when I create and save a project. These include folders labeled as follows: Captured Audio Captured Video Video Previews Audio Previews Encoded FilesDo I need to keep all these folders and included subfolders and files? If not, which can I safely delete?
HiI downloaded the trial of Adobe Premiere Elements 2019.I tried the software and want to purchase it. I clicked on the purchase button in the application and used my credit card details to make the purchase.I received an email with a serial number in it, but when I try to enter the serial number into the program I get an error message; "This serial number is not valid for Adobe Premiere Elements 2019".Whats more confusing is that I've noticed that in the email is says 'Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019', not 'Adobe Premiere Elements 2019'. I didn't select a product as part of the online purchase process (there was no option). Is 'Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019' the same thing as 'Adobe Premiere Elements 2019' ?I tried responding to the email, but it bounced. I've been unable to find any contact phone numbers for support (I'm in Australia). How can I get help to sort this out?Thank youBrian
Hi, beside using Premiere 2020 for editing I also use PE 14 as a replacement for Adobe Encore. However when I want to Export & Share the timeline from PE 14 to Disc it takes me, by default, to a screen to build a menu which I do not want. Can anyone please explain to me how I tell PE 14 that "I do not want a menu. I want an 'autoplay' disc" which does not have a menu. Thanks very much.
We are shooting top-down, a video of a table top game. After shooting our footage, we notice the camera was slightly askew...maybe 5-10 degrees. Is there a way to slightly rotate the clip, so that the table top appears straight in the final video?
I have just purchased Premiere Elements 2020 to use on a Mac. On trying to use green screen FX it says on the Help page that this is only available on Windows. Is this true? If so I want my money back. It is pretty useless for me without it.
Is it possible to add a location on the map to a movie. For example the coordinates?
Hi there! Title really says it all. When I try to archive a complete project, elements proceeds to ca. 95% and then gives me this error message: No idea what it means, but what I can say is that that file path does not exist on my computer. Help would really be appreciated. Thanks
For some reason I can no longer delete a clip and close the gap with one mouse click or backspace. If I want to delet a clip I have to hit my delete button or select "delete" from the dropdown menu to delete the clip and then I have to place my cursor in the gap that was created and right click to get a small button that says "Delete and Close Gap". I can then click on it and it does it. That's a lot of extra clicks. The "Delete and Close Gap" option just below the "Delete" button in the dropdown menu is ghosted, and the backspace just doesn't work. What has happened here? Would REALLY appreciate any assistance I can get on this. This forum has been so helpful in the past! Thanks!
I am slowly getting the idea of Premiere Elements and so appreciate this community's patient help. Today my question is how to apply an audio as well as video fade between two video clips to smooth out the transition. I have tried opening the transitions tab in video and clicking on various options but I can't quite understand how to apply that in between my video clips. As far as the audio I would just like to fade out and fade in at the beginning and end of each clip, but have not found this option at all. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Peter
Hello, I have been using adobe premiere elements for video editing since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic for our organization. At this point, we are stepping up our production value and are going to be using a green screen for chroma key work. After some testing, I found the tool Keylight 1.2 in AAE is far superior to what is in AP Elements. That being said here is what I am looking to do: General video editing and Audio editing (audio is just normalization and an occasional SFXs)Chroma key workBasic color and light grading (our camera is good but the operator isn't perfect (also me :P))Syncing camera anglesPicture in picture workTitles I am wondering what the best way or combination of P Pro and AAE is to achieve this. Someone told me that AAE is really better for Chroma key, but I don't see any audio capability in AAE. Will a combination of the two programs be best for me? Will just AAE or P Pro work? Thanks for any help. ~Smith
Hello,I recorded some video using "Windows Camera", from my Logitech HD525Webcam. The video plays as it should in any video player, but after importing to Adobe Premiere Elements 14, I have to unlink the audio and slide it across by about 500mSec to regain sync. I'd appreciate your advice on how the problem might be able to be resolved.Cheers,Adrian File properties as shown with Elements: File properties as shown by Windows Explorer: My OS details:Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64 bitVersion 10.0.19041 Build 19041HP All-In-One PC: Model 23-r115aProcessor AMD A6-6310 APU with AMD Radeon R4 Graphics, 1800 Mhz,4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 16.0 GB
How to edit multiple cameras in premiere elements 20
I bought Premiere Elements and tried to install it. But the installer failed over and over again. So I contacted the support team who pointed me towards the full download. So I downloaded it but could not extract the files from the zip file.Again, got onto support who told me to use something other than windows explorer. So I used 7Zip and discovered that there were 9 files in the zip that had CRC errors in them.So again onto support who then game me a refund rather than actually manage the problem. So the next day I try to install again and this time the zip file was still broken but the online installer worked. Great. But the application crashed on startup. Back onto support. So this is how that conversation went.Waited fully an hour to get someone.Explained my issue with 2020 crashing. They said, you have 2018?I said yes but I want to upgrade to 2020 but 2020 crashes. 2018 work fine. They passed me onto SALES! WTF?So I explain to them the i
Question Regarding Pixel Type (1:1 or .91) when adding still images to a SD, 4:3, 720x480 video project in Premier Elements. Consider: For photos, I’ve used Photoshop (full version) for several years; I know the photo functions well ---- but not necessarily matters of pixel aspect ratios for images intended for video. There is a tremendous (“historic”) article in these forums, posted by former master contributor and guru “Hunt”, about ten or fifteen years ago (I saved a copy). He explained quite clearly that ---- assuming that there will be no still-image panning, just a fixed image ---- use Photoshop to resize photos to the exact pixel dimensions that will be used in Premier Elements (or at least with respect to one of the two dimensions if the image will not fill the video screen). For example, if working on a 720x480 video project, do not rely on Premier Elements to resize an imported still image (though it will do so)
Premiere Elements 15 has been working fine up until now, but now I'm no longer able to create new videos... when I try to Add Media to a New Project I get this message -'Premiere Elements Debug EventPremiere Elements has encountered an error.[E:\Adobe\pre\main\ContentAnalysis\ContentAnalysisHost\Src\ContentAnal'When I click Continue it gives me this message -'Sorry, a serious error has occurred that requires Adobe Premiere Elements to shut down. Attempting to save your current project.'
Hi all, I own Premiere Elements 2020 v18 (20200130.daily.2070236) running on Win10 on Ryzen7 2700x and Radeon RX580. Trying to edit HEVC video material from my GoPro 7 I get scrambled preview images after importing media. Previewing these imported videos in small window is ok (only if switching to highest output quality). Previewing in cutting window results in scrambled video as well. (See screenshot attached). Do you have any idea how to solve this issue? I have tried so far to reinstall windows HEVC codec, installing latest video drivers and deleting media cache in Premiere. Thank you very much for any suggestions in adevance!
If I use the auto pan and zoom tool in Quick mode and then go into manual zoom I sometimes have nice big adjustment frames which exceed the size of the photo. This enables much more zoom control. This never happens in Expert mode where the adjustment frame is confined by the photo. Also it only happens about 50% of the time in Quick mode. I like the ability to set up zoom using frames which go outside the confines of the photo. How can I do this? Or is some weird quirk that is not supposed to happen. Very useful when it does!
Can anyone answer this: I put together a short video -- about 5 minutes. But then I "exported and shared" it to my desktop (as an mp4 video), the result was a 10-minute piece. The 1st 5 minutes were the video I created. The rest of the time was just plain black. Does anyone know how I can "save and export" only the lengthof the video I created, without the extra time being added? Please respond, if you can, toi my email: [Personal information removed by moderator.] Thanks, -- Ben Martin
Which extention do I import? .macc or .prv or .prel ? I have so many of these files.
I bought Premiere Elements 2020 and I regret it.I cannot install using the installer. It crashes at about 8%.I cannot unzip the full installation using Windows Explorer. Corrupted file message.I can unzip using 7Zip but there are CRC failures in the "products" folder. If I install regardless of the CRC errors, Elements crashes on start. No error number, just a screen to send a report.Adobe Support may as well be non existent for all the help they have been able to provide. Hi, does anyone have any ideas? I always get this message when I open Adobe Premier Elements 9.“We have detected an incompatible display driver. To get a better and faster playback performance, please update your display driver. Display driver details: Intel - Intel(R) HD Graphics 2000 3.0.0 - Build 9.17.10.4229“However, I have updated all my computer’s drivers, and video still will not play in APE9 (they play fine in other programs on my computer). My computer is Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. I have also used WinZip Driver Updater, and installed everything that the program recommends and still no luck.As a side note I can see images in Adobe Premier Elements 9 when I click on the image and/or video. But the videos just won’t play.I have also deleted and reinstalled APE9 and that didn’t help, either.
