Premiere Elements

Hello! I have a very big problem at the moment: Since I have a new PC, I can no longer open Adobe premiere elements 15 because I have to enter a serial number. I bought the program 4 years ago for more than 100 € and have made many YouTube videos with it since then. I have no longer this "serial number" and can not open the program. A test version is suggested to me, although I have already installed the paid full version a long time ago. What should I do now? I don't have the serial number anymore. The next thing is, that I can't contakt the adobe support.I would be really happy if any of you have an idea how you can help me .. Thank you!    

I am using Adobe Premiere Elements 2020 - When I used 2015 I would see the top half with a screen of my film and where video is on the bottom - I would see the clips - so that I could add things inbetween. I see a video line but I don't see the clips - how can I see them - I can't find a way to change that.  

this question should be easier to answer.editing win 10,3.3 gh processor16 gb ramssdthis same pc will run a 10p60 video switcher, with 5 cameras and many videos and title sequences.the switcher will record 1080p60 and stream 720p to facebook at the same time.I have cropped clips assembled into the output screen.10 clips on the same output screen, all cropped.the last scene to play the video take several minutes before the screen appears.same if you just put the cursor into the timeline.not rendering, just editing.so I ask what are the actual limitations, like layers, crops imposed by PE.the total total video is about 4:40, less than 5 minutes.and why, with 16 gb, does pe show only 2gb in use?

trying to place and fine position cropped video clips into the frame.ctrl alt  with up down right, leftshould nudge the selected clip into position.they do nothing as far as I can tell.how else to do it?help? 

I create a video with 8 phots (each less than 1 MB) transitions and trailer.  The output file is for mobil users (MP4). In Premier elements 13 the output file is 12 - 13 MB. The same inputs, transitions and trailer is 35 - 40 MB. Cannot not figure out why!

I keep getting a message regarding the file MSVCP.dll is missing.  I am unqble to figure it out. Can anyone help. 

Hello,Could anybody help me and point me to a resource, video, etc?I got Premiere Elements recently and am rather frustrated that I can't find the option for locking tracks, like other video editors offered, to stop tracks from accidentally moving. I would just like to stretch the clips back and forth, but when I do that, the whole timeline moves. The panning & zooming tool is also a problem, I do not manage to find how to limit the time the clip is displayed. Whenever I open a clip, it immediately offers many options and adds new frames which I don't want and lengthens the clip, which I don't want at all, and then it when I close it it throws the whole timeline onward more than I wanted. So I do not know how to use it at all. It was easier with other video editors. Also, when I add a portrait picture, I would like to zoom out to the entire picture, but it does not offer the option, or I can't find it. That is, on the picture added, I would like frame number 2 to be the entire pict

SPECS: Win10, APE 2018, 40gb free space, Intel Core i7-7560U 2.40 GHz, 16gb RAM, 64-bit, Dell XPS 13 SITUATION: I have a video that has a few title slides (I am using the basic text - title option to create headers when I change topics on my video). And I have a 50% transparent grey box below it, so the text is legible on my moving video.   (excuse the low res, hopefully that gives you and idea of the text setup i am describing PROBLEM: They show fine when I am working on it, and after rendering, but on export, the grey box shows up, but no text on top. WHAT I TRIED: I created another project, with one video clip, and then did the same grey box with the same font (font name: "BlackJack"), and that exported without issue. My video file has dozens of videos and transitions, and I have been working on it for over 100 man hours, and it takes approx 8 hours to export, so I can't very easily remove clips and test each time. Any ideas guys? Dear Friends I am new to this product and still struggling with understanding how to synchronize my title blockswith the video in order to have my captions appear at the correct time. Here is a screen shot of what I am seeing. This edit of my video contains 18 title blocks or so but I cannot seem to increase or decrease the exact amount of time they need to be displayed. Any help would be deeply appreciated. Thanks in advance for anyone's input. 

Dear Friends I have managed to wrestle through my first video with help fromt this forumso thank you. Unfortunately I cannot seem to remember how to dsiplay the titlesin my video timeline so I can adjust the amount of time each title displays. This is key for me as I am subtitling songs and the title needs to dsiplay exactly when the words are being sung. I am pretty surethis is an easy fix but no amount of right clicking or menu options seem to work for me this morningto rediscover where that is. Thanks in advance for any help! Peter

Hello all, I use ProDad with my Premier Elements 14. I have just needed to replace my hard drive and reinstall my programs. I have ProDad Adorage installed, and this shows up in my Pinnacle Studio 19, but for some reason it isn't showing up in the affects list in Premier Elements, which it did before I reinstalled it. Any ideas? Thanks.

I didn't know you had to deactivate products manually and now that I've owned a couple of computers I can no longer use Premier Elements 14 due to the license being registered on too many devices. I can't sign out on those devices since I no longer have them, and there is no way to reset my registrations online. I can't for the life of me to figure out how to speak to customer support, the website just has a fruitless circular loop of redirection. Can anyone tell me how to reset my registrations for Premiere Elements 14 that is NOT just a copy-paste of this support article because it is not helpful https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/download-install/kb/activate-deactivate-products.html

I just purchased Premiere Elements 2019 for the main purpose of making professional looking dvd menus with chapters.  I have been unable to figure out how to access this part of the program.  Nor can I find the online disc templates.  Please let me know how to do this.  The online helps to not give the information on how to access this.

Hello,I am getting green and white lines in my video editor/preview box. I have the PE 2019 and then purchased PE 2020 thinking that would be the solution. I'm still dealing with it. I have a HP laptop with Core i5 7th gen.  I'm not very technical. Please advise

After working normally for a while Premiere Elements 2020 stopped exporting. I had three projects on the go and none of them would export. The program just stopped responding and Microsoft would shut it down. My version of Premiere Elements is 18.0.0.0 and I'm using up to date Windows 10. I phoned the chat room. Prasanjeet (I hope I've spelled his name corrctly) took over my computer. Apparently, the problem was the graphics driver and he solved it.Many Thanks. Keep Safe.Nigel

Hello All,My computer crashed and had to get a new OS.  Its a mac pro and I had 2018 Photoshop elements & premiere.How do I go about reinstalling it from the key code on my card that thankfully I saved? Thank you in advance for your help. 

I want to use one of the 'Speech Bubble' graphics in Premiere Elements on my work PC, but when I try to drag it to the timeline, or right-click it and choose 'Download Now', I get an error message 'The Download failed. Either the server is currently unavailable, or your computer is disconnected from the internet.'I know my internet connection is OK, but my employer's systems route all internet access through a proxy server, so if Premiere is trying to download something directly then I'm guessing this is the problem. I can't find anywhere to configure the proxy server settings in Premiere.Is there some way I can set this configuration, or can I download the graphic manually then bring it in to Premiere?

Greetings. I am in Dublin in Ireland and I have relatively fast internet speeds.I have been using Premiere Elements for years as my basic video editing software and it is very satisfactory overall.   However on 21st August 2020 I bought Premiere Elements 2020 and uninstalled all predecessors.When I import both video and JPeg files into Premiere Elements 2020 they do not show up on the central monitor.   I uninstalled and reinstalled Premiere Elements 2020 on two occasions previously and this remains the problem.Is there some new method in Premiere Elements 2020 that I do not know of?How can I got about fixing this?Thanks,CHRISTIAN MORRIS

Hi All When I set Encoding to 'VBR, 1 pass' I can select Hardware encoding (Image)I'm wondering is this is done at the expense of the quality. I've done some test and didn't see noticeable differences however quality is something not easy to assess. I didn't find any info about it in the manual. Thanks     

I am new to Premiere elements 2020 and purchased it as an upgrade to Windows Movie maker which Ihave used for many years. I am having trouble learning how to create the subtitles that I was easily able to add to my music videos in movie maker. I am surprised at the complexity of learning to do even the basics beyond creating a title. Am I missing something basic here or is this software not able to do what even movie maker did quite easily? 

I need to change the frame size of my video, but on the settings page, it won't let me click on the frame size numbers, and I cant find how to for the life of me.  Am new to elements.  Please help!

Hello,Whenever I am using the Smart Mix tool to automatically adjust my soundtrack to fade behind my Audio 1, it gives me the following message: "Cannot perform SmartMix. Missing dialog in the foreground track." I am not sure how to get around this, And I dont know how to adjust my soundtrack volume to fade down when my Audio 1 starts and fade back in when it ends. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
