When I add my footage to the timeline and have no video preview playing the still image is quite blurred. Now when I start playing the video it smoothes out and the quality looks good again. Rendering fixes this so the quality is always high, even when paused. If I add text to my footage and render the timeline again the text and footage become very blurred and the quality drops a lot. This shows in both the video preview and final exported file. If I go back and add new footage to a project that I worked on before, the new footage I add becomes incredibly blurred when rendered in the timeline. I made sure to check it was recorded with the exact same settings. This blurred footage also shows in the final product. Now I could choose not to render the timeline but that makes the video playback incredibly laggy and makes it hard to see what is happening on the screen. Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening?
Hello, i attached 2 files which shows the difference between them, the one doesnt have the option "Export Files" in the German Version. I also tried to go Files-> Export -> Title it doesnt work. Is this a bug or do I need to do something ?PLEASE HELP Its Adobe Premiere Elements 2020do I need the Pro Version to do this ?
I'm trying to setup a video where there is 55 hours of footage in the timeline which I then want to time stretch down to about 5 minutes. I have the following questions: 1) The application only appear to allow up to 24 hours of video clips to be added to the timeline. Can this limit be removed or increased in Elements? Is this limitation removed in Premiere Pro?2) On testing time stretch with 22 hours of clips the lowest I can get the timeline to condense down to is 20 minutes. Is what I'm trying to do possible and if so is time stretch the correct method of achieving what I'm trying to do or is there a better method? The above is being tested on the 30 day trial of Premiere Elements but if I can get it to work I intend to purchase the program. Thanks in AdvanceDave
I use photos and video clips and music to create travel videos and am looking to upgrade from the free editor I have been using. I am no expert at video editing and would like to be able to create something interesting to look at without having to study long and hard to get there. It sounds like both these programs can accomplish it but which one would you suggest and why?Thank you,Sharon
I recently converted to PRE20 from PRE12. In PRE12, I could create an 8.6 GB folder, then use Imgburn to create DL DVD's. In PRE20, I created an 8.6 DL ISO file. Then attempted to burn the DL DVD with the same version of Imgburn. Imgburn displays the following message (attached MS Word file) and will not burn the DL DVD. (BTW - I am disappointed that Adobe has removed the ability to burn directly to DVD and Blu-Ray in PRE20.)
I'm trialing Premiere on my 14" laptop and everything is so small. I have seen it on a 15" and everything is nice and big. Any ideas
I'm editing mp4 files from a video camera. I've been using Elements 2018 for a year with no problem when suddenly, after I clip a section out, the audio no longer matches the video. I bought 2020 and the same thing happens. I tried running it through Handbrake and I get a stop and start look for the video although the audio sounds fine.
I bought the DVD of Elements 2020. I installed it on my MAC & then was asked to sign in. Then it asks me to enter Redemption Code & it says it's invalid. I tried on different browers. I can't get to the serial number. There is not a serial number on the sleeve of either disk.
Tried to upload video to Youtube on Premiere Elements 2020. After pressing start share a blank grey screen appears and nothing else happens. I understand the program should require authorization but it does not.
Dear all, took 20->30 videos with my Fuji FinePix S8300. Download, created a project in Adobe Premiere 2020. Added several clips to the timeline and had no problems with them. Just one clip is giving me fits and its properties match the others with small exception of the data rate and the total bitrate (which isnt much, all my clips have different bitrates and such but there all pretty much close to each other). The file is .MOV with frame rate of 1920 and a frame Height of 1080 + frame rate of 59.94 frames/secnd. Adobe help (Troubleshoot video files in Adobe Premiere Elements) suggest that i start a new project with that one file and manualy chose a different setting. The closest thing i have to .mov might be a AVCHD 1080p60 but thats just a best guess. I am able to salvage the first few secnds of the clip but after that it gets weird. Never seems to playback the same way twice (once our halfway thru the clip).&n
Back in 2011 I created a DVD with several vacation photos, it was completed on Premier Elements 8 and being new to the program and creating DVDs I have looked back and did not save the project. I have since learned allot and always save my projects and always burn more than one disc. All of that said I am wondering if there is any way that I can copy my current DVD disc and burn it to a new disc? My only other recourse is to recreate the DVD, I did save all of the pictures in a folder but did not even save any of the music to a folder. Like I stated I have learned allot since that time and am much more proficient. Thanks in advance
Even in Premiere Elements 2019 this was working fine. This is how it looks when we chage scratch disk location - The scratch disk location do not stay where I save it in Premiere Elements 2020. I am paying Adobe since last 8 years and things are getting worse. Rendering takes more time, I do not find things I need. What the hell is going on!!
Hello Adobe Support Community. As always, thank you very much for the help. I have croped the left edge of one of my clips. I've read everything i can find about croping. After reading and playing with the crop i think i understands how it works. What I can't find any information on is the relevence of the anchor point (that displays in my monitor panel). I undstand, from what i have read, is that the anchor point is the point from which 'where all the other fixed effects (motion and opacity) will work from.'. So, i kind of get it but not realy. I've included a pic of the cliped frame that i'm working from. Anchor point does not dispaly in pic, but for reference it is located in the left lower corner of the pic. Aslo, with regards to the black box on the left edge (the croped portion of my photo). I checked the 'zoom' to resize my pic but the net effect is a very distored image of my good friend
Using Premiere Elements 2020. Edit>Preferences>Scratch Disks There are six scratch disk paths available in this window. I set the Audio Previews path to be "Same as Project", while the remaining five paths are set to Custom, pointing out to a different disk drive than the project is on. These settings save fine if I close and re-open PE. I can create a new project and the settings stay fine. However, if I close out of PE after creating a new project, then open that project, four of the five scratch disks that had a Custom path before are all now back to "Same as Project". Oddly, the Media Cache path stays on the Custom path specified earlier. Does anyone know why these scratch disk paths keep reverting to "Same as Project"? System Info:- Windows 10 Pro 64-bit version 1903- Adobe Premiere Elements 2020 version 18.0- i7-980- 24GB RAM- 1TB SSD for OS and app, 120GB SSD for project files and audio previews, and 500GB SSD for remainder
Tried importing AVI files with no success (Codec issue) ... so converted to Mpeg4 ... went to import them and came up with a screen saying 'You must activate this component in order to use this feature ... Gives a Serial Number to copy and a weblink to visit for the Unlock Key ... however ... Link is no longer valid ... any ideas how I get this unlock key ... or a solution?! Regards,M
I have an Intel i9-9900K with 32GB RAM, which comes with Intel UHD Graphics 630.I also have an NVidia Geforce GTX 1070, which appears unsupported according to this:https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/premiere-elements/kb/supported-devices-premiere-elements.html Therefore (annoyingly) the only option I have in preferences is onboard Intel graphics for acceleration. So here is a question, would it be better to turn off Intel graphics acceleration (normally it's on) and put the load onto the CPU which is pretty powerful, and could I benchmark a comparison out of this somehow? Task manager doesn't tell me much to be honest. Thanks
My video is 3 minutes. No extraneous stuff in the timeline...Export makes a MP4 file that has my 3 minutes and the n17 minutes of black. This hasn't happened before..
My narration tracks were fine, until they all went mute! All of them. It's like that whole tier is null and void. Music is fine, sound from video clips all fine. Narration clips WERE fine, all the way through. What on earth would make them ALL go silent on me? Desperately pleading for advice. Thank you!Using Adobe 20 with Windows 10 on a Surfacebook 2.
