I am upgrading my DJI Mavic Pro Drone to a DJI Mavic 2 and it saves in H.265 10 bit files. Will I be able to import them into my Windows 10 Premiere elements 2020?
With the Autoanalyzer tool from Premiere Elements 2020 a video can be cut up into multiple scenes. How can I automatically export these as video clips to the Organizer and apply smart tags to them?
Quiero saber si con Premiere Elements 2020, puedo crear menus para DVD y BLUE RAY, y crear peliculas que tengan esta funcion, parecida a las versiones anteriores de Encore
Can anyone recommend a user manual for Premiere Elements 9 please
This is now the second time this has happened. The program (not my computer) freezes up and no matter how long I wait or what I do nothing frees it up. after exiting the program and trying to reload the video it says unknown error. I just lost one that I spent hours on and had a deadline that I will not meet now since im starting over from the begining. Customer service is useless and refuses to help. how can I recover my video?
I have some Zoom recordings -- MP4 -- that are about 850mb. When I use Premier Elements to edit, even after removing some sections, the size jumps to 3.5GB. Why? Even when I take the quality down, it is 1.5 gb.It made posting the videos impossible on YouTube unless I broke down the individual sessions into smaller groups.
Is there a way to delete clips without causing the other clips to move to close the gap? When I just use "delete", all the clips will move to close the gap. I don't want that. I want to keep the gap. So, when I use "shift+delete", I am able to delete a clip without closing gaps. This is good! However, if I go to the keyboard customization settings I see that "delete and close gap" is done by "shift+delete", while when I press "shift+delete" it does not close the gaps. How is this possible? I am a bit confused by these shortcuts and therefore not able to change them the way I want. I would really like to just press "delete" (and not "shift+delete") to remove clips wihout closing gaps, so without the other clips to move. Could you please help me to set the keyboard setting right? Thank you very much in advance! Ps. I tried changing the keyboard settings to:Delete = shift+deleteDelete and Close Gap = deletebut that didn't change how the program reacted to me usin
Before I purchase this camcorder, I want to know if Premiere Elements will recognize and read it. I believe the video information is stored on a card, so I'll need a card reader. I checked the list of compatible camcorders on the Adobe site, and although they listed a couple Canon Vixia camcorders, they did not list this one I think this camera records mpeg. I welcome your input asap! Thanks! Scott
I have just upgraded my PC and loaded Premiere Elements 2020. System is Windows 10 Home 64-bit, 16 GB RAM, Intel Core i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50 Ghz (4 cores), C drive 250GB SSD, D drive 2TB SSD. I have put the Adobe programs on the C drive (in the recommended place AppData Roaming etc.) which still has about 140GB free space; and store all my data, including many videos, in separate folders for each project on the D drive, which has about 740GB free space. I am editing some pretty big projects (e.g. Nepal holiday with about 413 avi source files, unedited running time 2 and a half hours). The media cache database is in AppData and set at 5GB - half way; and all the scratch disks are set to 'same as project'. I render the timeline frequently, but that takes at least 15-20 minutes. I have also disabled as many background services as would appear safe to do so. I still find editing is a fragile process and need to re-boot occasionally for the project to recover after hanging.&n
Hi, hoping someone can help me with this. I've put this in the Premiere section because I couldn't find one for Premiere. I've used Sony Vegas and other versions of Premiere in the past and never come across this issue. I'm currently using Adobe Premiere 2019 (non-Pro) and for some reason when I go to export my video it has resized and there's a huge border around my video. I've attached two screenshots so you can see the timeline versus the export version. Anybody had this issue or know how to fix it? Greatly appreciated! Thanks!
I started a post a few days ago that has not yet been answered fully. Title of that post was "In PE 2018, time stretch of clip affects other clips". I'm trying to time stretch a single clip without affecting clips in adjacent tracks. Steve suggested "Hold down the Alt/Option key to limit timeline rippling to one track". I posted my repro steps as follows: "Select clip. Right click to bring up options. Select clip / time stretch. Press and hold Alt. Adjust speed, hit OK. Release Alt. Adjacent clips still move." Can someone please answer my question? I have posted repro steps to hopefully give enough detail as to what is going on. The hint on using the Alt key is great, but it has not resolved this question yet. Thank you
I have just moved to a new computer running Windows 10 Pro. Device Manager recognizes the ieee 1394 adapter, and it recognizes the Canon ZR50MC camcorder (an oldie). But I can't get Premiere Elements to recognize the camera. Any suggestions?
Hi, I'm aiming to make a movie at home, as in the ones you watch at the cinema. I'm a beginner so I'm not looking to do anything too advanced to begin with, just something that will allow me to create something in the comfort of my home but I'm wanting to learn things like video editing, special effects, etc. Does anyone know if Adobe Premiere Elements would be fine for me to use?
I have been using premiere elements since the 2012 version. I just upgraded from 2019 to 2020. The difference is that I am editing HEVC files, which is working well in general. I have been monitoring my task manager and noticed my memory is near maxed out and before I would rarely hit 50%. I am running a AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Eight-Core Processor 3.7 GHz and 16 GB of RAM. I was almost about to buy 32 GB of RAM to solve but am trouble shooting now and reinstalling. I heard from some people that it is best to keep your project files on a separate hard disk than your operating system. My operating system and programs are on a 500 GB SSD and I usually move my project files from my 2 TB drive too the SSD. Any thoughts welcome. Thank you.
When I use Premiere Elements 2019, my sound disappears after editing a bit in my assignment.Eg. I saved a simple task - it went fine, then I also wanted to save a 4K version - there was no sound on.At the same time, the sound also disappeared from the imported clips.Does anyone have any idea what path I should go to make it play again?
I want to stress I'm only tech-savvy to a point so please bear with me. I downloaded Premiere Elements today, imported a video file (MPEG, 25FPS) and the quality is awful; very choppy and the playback line on the timeline keeps jumping back on itself. I haven't done anything except import media; no effects, transitions, rendering, etc. I've been googling for solutions for the past four hours but everything which has popped up tends to be strictly for Premiere Pro and I can't find the same solutions in Elements. I disabled the default audio hardware in the edit menu, which made the audio come through nice and clear, but the video is still choppy and not keeping up with the audio. I've also tried importing different file types but the only one which ran relatively smoothly was an mp4 - still a little choppy though. I tried altering the preset on new projects, but this is where I struggle because I don't know all the tecnicalities between what makes certain file types different
Where in the tools menu is the movie menu selection? Running iMac w/ Mojave os?Mike
I need to add Hindi subtitles to my videos; but the fonts do not render correctly. Complex characters specifically don't render correctly. I'm currently using Premiere 14 Elements. Does Premiere 15 support the new Unicode fonts? Thanks.
I opened a new blank project, inserted a video that is 960x720, but the preview window and the export preview view both show 16:9 ??
I use 4:3 for pretty much everything. I'm using Premier Elements in Win10.1. How do I make that my default setting?2. How do I transform at 16:9 file into 4:3?Thanks
Hi,I have noticed that in a multi track project, when I time stretch or change the start or ending of a clip, it affects the start times of some of the other clips. Why? How do disable this behavior?Due to "stay at home", I am producing virtual choir videos for my church. We typically have 25-30 tracks. In the most recent project, we had a narrator at one of the early tracks. I produce the audio in a separate audio editor (a DAW). In order to sync the narrator's video with his audio, I needed to time stretch him. Upon doing so, nearby clips were moved. I'm guessing that PE may be moving any clips that occur *after* the end of the stretched clip, because most of the clips started beforehand and were not affected.Thank you,ToddEDIT: I just checked, and it seems to be pulling in clips on just two tracks, the ones immediately above and below. Certainly not the behavior I would want.
I am trying to shorten a motion title to the exact length of the underlying video. I can not seem to do that. Any suggestions?
Using Premiere Elements to take 11 video files and edit them into 1 video. There are 6 .MOV files and 5 .MP4 files. I added them to my timeline and they're all arranged in the right order and play normally after rendering. The resulting video is ~31 minutes long. I want to add a title overlay to describe a particular section of the video. So I moved the current time indicator to the section I wanted then used Text - New Text - Default Text and added a Title section which showed up in Video 2. I edited it to have the text I wanted, rendered, it and viewed it. When I ran it the title gets a strange video glitch when the title appears. The video start to flicker between normal and a negative image and the text gets duplicated, sometimes upside down. If I remove the title section everything works normally. The same kind of thing happens sometimes when I add a transition between clips. Any idea why this is happening?
When I add two of the same motion titles in my project and try to make them different it keeps copying the changes over. Steps to recreate:1) Add in "Typography07" motion title to my project in two separate places2) Change the text of the first title to "First dog 123"3) Change the text of the second title to "second dog 333"4) Both first and second title now have text set to "second dog 333" I have uploaded video showing this
I am using MS Windows 10, where Adobe Premiere Elements 2019 has crashed fot the 3rd time. Twice saving on 1080p, and once saving on 720p. Every time, it was serious enough to bring down the operating system. The BSOD code was a WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR. Can anyone provide help or insight? Paul King
