Premiere Elements

Hello,I'm making/editing a holiday-movie and at the moment i have imported around 191 4k-clips. The runtime is around 12 minutes now. I still have around 3 weeks moviematerial to select and to add to the movie so the final movie will be around 30-40 minutes. Even though my computer is new and my playback quality is low, i was wondering if you guys have any tips for me to keep everything working fast. I experience some delay when i playback sometimes (not all the time) now. I just want to make sure my computer won't crash and i lose all the edited material (i've experienced that before on my old computer and working in GoPro Studio...) And yes, i save regularly! Is rendering all the material now and than a solution to keep everything fast and solid? Or maybe make 4 different project and connect them in the before making the final movie (if that's possible)?Thanks in advance!

I am no longer able to open two projects at once. When I try to open another project, it closes the original project. I used to be able to have multiple projects on Video Editor open at once. I was already talking to Support for over an hour this morning and they recommended that I reach out here. Please help.

Wanting to shorten audio clips and keep getting audio remix pop up to auto remix. I don't want to use it so how do I turn it off?

In the installed test version the H.265 video ran without problems. In the purchased version it suddenly stopped. Under Windows the video runs without problems. It can therefore not be due to HEVC. A Geforce GTX 1660 Ti graphics card is used.How can I get the videos running again?

Hi! I have a problem with Premiere Elements 2020, where sometimes the program will say it will finish exporting in 55:01 minutes (as an example) and then go back and forth between 55:01 and 55:00 for about eight hours. I once tried to export a video and it did this for about two days before it finally finished exporting. I tried closing Premiere Elements, thinking maybe it had froze or stopped repsonding. However, it got to relatively the same point when I reopened and restarted the export when it started stuttering the export again. I've noticed that this only tends to happen with my videos whose time before editing is an hour and thirty minutes or more. Was elements just not meant to handle videos this large? Has anyone else encountered this? If so, how did you fix it (or can it be fixed)?  My export settings are: 1980x1080(1.0), 60fps, Progressive, Hardware Encoding VBR, 1 pass, Target 15.00 Mbps AAC, 160 kbps, 48 kHz, Stereo I don't know if it's needed, but here are

will premiere elements 14 make use of a GPU card to speed up rendering video?If so, what features should it have?If not, which video editing version would?

I have tried opening the video editor from the home page and double clicking my project file from folder. Neither allows me to open the application. No error message.

Hey all looking to get some help. Recently started using adobe premiere elements. All the videos I inserted were clear as day and work with other programs, however when I included them into the premiere editing software, one of the videos became blurry. I rendered the video, changed the timeline to 100%, and even tried the playback speed. Any other suggestions?

Does Elements support exporting a frame as a TIFF for further postprocessing?

Greetings:   My old PC died recently and I have been transferring programs to a new one.  I have been trying to reload PE 15 from the CDR but am expereincg a hangup where the disc asks for the serial number.    I input the 20 digits above the bar code on the box, but it's 4 digits short.   I've looked for the CDR sleeves but the one for the PC disc is missing; the Mac disc cover on has no relevant info either.   How do get the last 4 numbers, please?  

Hi to all of you,I am a musician who bought premiere elements just to make some simple music videos for my songs and albums. Not something special. I have read some information here in the forum but still cannot export a video without being pixelated. Well sometimes I am lucky and manage to do it, but now I want to make a almost 50 minutes music video with just music, the album cover which I imported as jpeg, and text (the name of each songs in real time). I will upload it to youtube.First I look at project settings. I see the presets the premiere elements has and choose a 1280*720 preset from ntsc- avchd folder. The image I add is also 1280*720. I also have noticed that I cannot change audio samplerate. It is by default 48kHz but I work on 44,1kHz. In audio interface setting it is correctly at 44.1 but in project settings is 48. The text I use is a classic text that I put on the upper right corner with motion preferences and the blue borders of text is always inside project borde

I have been following the same process in handling importing of MP4’s to Premier elements 19 and all of a sudden audio tracks are not showing up in the timeline when I move an asset from a file into PrElements 19. The video shows up but there is no audio track The MP4‘s have audio BEFORE I pull them in to Premier elements 19. I have researched this problem for quite some time with no solution yet. Thank you

Hi everyone,I amazed with the effect video of Sam Kolder or Ben TK etc how the make the transition very smooth using masking. Now I saw a lot of tutorial on adobe premiere pro, and then I try to apply on my premiere element 2019 but there is a lot of tools is missing or not the same, like masking and free draw bezier. I just wondering if anyone know that we can make that kind of effect on premiere element? And if we can what kind of tools or effects we use. Thank you for your help.

I made too many effects for one project, now that I'm done with them I want to remove some of them, but not all of them. However, simply right clicking the preset does nothing, and I can't find the folder for effects to manually manipulate them. Do you know how to manage them?

I have Premire Elements 14, and I'm considering purchasing a new camcorder that outputs in XAVC S 4K.  I don't see that file format in the list that Premire Elements supports.  Does the new 2020 version support that file format?

I'm running PE 2019. and have used it many time.  When I put together the clip and add music everything is fine.  However, when I render the video, it's putting the clips in slow motion AND chopping off the back part of each clip so it's still the same length.  How do I stop this?  What setting would cause the software to put a clip into slow motion and edit the length to fit the same length?

Sometimes if I try to add multiple effects to several clips too quickly, the effect will hang and the entire program will freeze. It still appears to be responding, but the only way to get it working is by ending it in the task manager. It's not common, but I'm not gonna let it happen again. Do you know about this? What do I do?

I have 3 drives. C(OS), D(SSHD STORAGE), S(SSD scratch disk) running Windows 10, with all recent updates. 2018 core i5-8500 with 16gb ram and an outdated video card. So up until recently I had no problems making video from the same camera GPHero5 black. All is good. Then just recently I installed a new SSD just for scratch to help performance. My source files are on "D" and program is installed to C. I had some freezing after installing the new drive because of where the scratch was being placed. I uninstalled and then reinstalled to make sure it would save to my scratch drive. Fixed it for 1 video. Was able to export and share fine. Went onto my next project. Initially set up my scratch disk to the S again. Worked on the project. Saved the file and closed. Came back next morning boot up computer and now in the settings the scratch has all moved to "same as project" instead of "custom." Now anytime I close down the project and reopen it, the settings always revert back to "same as proj

I'm trying to burn a blu ray with Premiere 2020, but the blu ray function does not show up as an option.  Only SD 576 and SD 480 are available.  How do I get to the AVCHD tab? 

I just installed Premiere Elements 2020, created a file (saved  at least 5 times during creation) and saved again when exiting.  When trying to open the saved file I get the message "Unknown error occured while opening the project"  Is there any way out? Thanks

I'm running an evaluation version of PE 2020. I'm really excited about this program but it's running into some VERY serious issues that need to be addressed before I can purchase. Just for reference, I have two other video programs that perform WELL on this PC (built specifically for video editing)...I just REALLY like the features and layout of PE 2020... ISSUES I have encountered are FREEZING and LOCK-UP...so bad that I need to reboot at times to get PE 2020 rolling again. Any ideas on this and (hopefully they will be resolved??? ANY comments welcome! Please add your voice to this post if you are having similiar issues. Paul

I recently upgraded to Premiere Elements 2020 from an older version and am having issues with using Time Remapping to slow down sections of video. The problem is that whenever a clip is slowed down only the first 15% or so of the clip is saved, the rest is simply a black screen. I checked the relevant settings for the clips. When initially time remapped the video seems fine (still in the Time Remapping window), but once I return to the main timeline the video is clipped off. The timeline preview still shows the frames, if I enter back into the Time Remapping options (double click the clip) the time lime snapshot looks good, but all video previews clip the video and my export renders also clip the video in these sections. Any help or advice on this?
