Hello, I've been using Elements 10 since it was first released, with excellent results! Suddenly, today (24th October 2019) it stopped importing footage from my DV cassettes via Firewire. A message appears, a few seconds after pressing Record button, which reads: "Lost connection to device." (see attachment) yet it continues to control my device. Hello,I am working on some lower thirds on Track 2 and I have some footage running on Track 1.  Every time I stop the playback it deselects Track 2 and selects Track 1.  I am trying to see if my keyframes are position good and each time I stop playback I need to reopen up Applied Effects and pick off where I left off.  Any suggestions out there?  Thank you for reading this.  I am using PE 2020 on a smoking Lenovo X1 extreme.

Hello,  Hoping someone can help.  I made a slide show-type movie with mp4s, jpegs, music, etc. using PE 15.  When I completed it, I exported it as an mp4 and it saved just great.  So, I don't think I have any hardware/software issues (I have used PE for other projects and no issues, rendering, exporting, etc).  Once I viewed the exported mp4, I found a few things I wanted to change.  I only adjusted some volume levels, trimmed clips, etc.  I did not bring any new assets into the project.  I rendered and exported.  All in all about an hour video. This time when I exported and watched the mp4 it stopped at say the 5min38 sec mark and media player said this video can't be played.   Thinking it may be the player, I checked the file properties for the mp4.  I noticed the file size of the mp4 was about 500MB when the projeted size was to be about 6GB.  So, it's like it rendered/exportedup to a point and then stopped..

I was just wondering if it is possible to share a premiere elements project that was created on a Mac with the program on a PC? 

Using Premiere Elements and trying to change the thumbnail offset but the timecode is missing. I did hover over this area and it does let me change the thumbnail. Guessing this is a bug.  

I used to edit videos in PE 14 with no problem. Now, even though I can hear the audio fine when I play back the unedited video, when I go into PE 14, open a new project, and add Media, no audio can be heard. I can SEE that the audio track is there, but though I've tried every way I can think of to turn the audio back ON, I can't hear it.

Hallo, ich habe mal nach 6 Jahren meinen Rechner neu aufgesetzt und Premiere Elements 11 neu installiert, doch jetz stürtzt es ständig ab sobald ich ein Video hineinlade und manchmal auch wenn ich zum Expertenmodus wechsle. Es kann allerdings nicht an den Rohvideos liegen da ich alte probert hab aus denen ich schon einen Film geschinitten habe und es stürtzt trotzdem ab.  Meine PC Daten:  Motherboard: ASUS P8B75-MIntel Core I7 3770 3.4*4 ghzNvidia Geforce GTX 1060 OC 6gb16 gb ddr3 ram 1866ghz2TB seagate barracuda hdd( auf der is das Programm installiert 250gb Samsung 850 pro ssd

Would there be an issue of having two licensed versions of Premiere Elements on the same computer (PE 15 & PE 19)?Didn't know if there would be any conflict with the programs.  I am currently running Windows 7.

 hello, I own premiere elements 15 because it allows you to burn blue ray discs and also have premiere elements 18 on the PC;I now bought an upgrade to premiere elements 2020, could I now remove premiere elements 2018 without causing problems with the new premiere elements 2020 software?Thx

I installed Adaboe Primere elements after the trial. the trial version let me create a video at 100mbs. the purchased virsion wont. i am trying to edit video from my phone which shows in the details that to was created at 100 but in adobie it will only write out at 60. i have tried to adjust the settings and checked the box project settings "Maximum bit rate" but when i move the slide bar to 100 it only writes out at 30. If i select 60 it will write out at 60. just not 100. any ideas?

I just recently purchased Premiere Elements 15 and installed it on my laptop and my pc. I just dropped my laptop and it no longer works. When I buy another laptop, would I be able to install it there as a second install or did I lose that one?

Hallo zusammenMeine Tochter hat in Premere Elements 15 einen Film gemacht, der ca. 5 Minuten ist. Wir haben ihn nun exportiert und es speichert immer 9 Minuten 49 Sekunden,die Hälfte des Films ist am Ende schwarz. Es ist weder Audiomaterial noch Videomaterial vorhanden. Mir bleibt momentan nur die Lösung den Film als MP4 nochmals einzufügen und dann zu schneiden, das kann aber doch nicht sein. Jemand eine Ahnung?LG Karingb

I am using a Dell laptop i7 processer Windows 10 and have made a few working videos with the new laptop. I just stack trail camera video clips together for myself and a few friends. Nothing special, no transistions just menu markers.   Last week when I loaded several video clips the audio portions had no sound except every 4 seconds a blip of the sound track can be heard.  The clips play fine with sound when double clicking them as just video files (not in Elements) but only have the problem when loading them into Elements 12. I have reinstalled Elements 12  3 times now and can't see any problems. Any ideas out there?  Elements worked fine for a couple 1 hours videos and now is have an audio problem.

I have been using Premiere Elements for several months and am generally quite satisfied with this program; it is not too complex to use and it still has some possibilities in terms of video editing. People who want more will probably switch to Premiere Pro. But this package has a different cost.I am less satisfied with the quality of the exported files. But I'm convinced that it's up to me and that a few parameters need to be set correctly in order to achieve a good result. I have read related conversations on this topic within the Adobe community, but have not found the right solution yet. Below or in the appendix, it becomes clear what I mean. I made a drawing in Fusion 360 and made a render of it. The size of the render (or image) in png format is 1920 x 1080 pixels. Hi, i get the error message when playing mp4/mov videos."The selected file cannot be played because the computer does not have the required codec. (Compressor / Decompressor)"This problem is not permanent, sometimes it works and after a restart it does not work again. Videos can always be played with all other programs, be it Quicktime, VLC or Adobe Premiere. Reinstalling didn't help. Programm is Adobe Elements Organizer 2019 with macOS 10.14.5 Mojave. Can anyone help with the error?BRThorsten

I have a project saved in Premiere Elements 13 that works fine.  I updated to 2019 and opened the project.  Now hitting play does nothing.I tried the Hardware Acceleration thing but it was already set.

Irgendwann trat in unregelmäßigen Abständen der Fehler auf, dass importierte Clips in der Vorschau grün waren und nicht gerendert werden konnten. Media Player, VLC, usw., spielten die Clips einwandfrei ab.Da das Programm doch schon etwas betagt war, kaufte ich die neue Version. Aber Überraschung: das neu gekaufte Premiere Elements 2019 zeigt bei diesen Clips das Standbild korrekt. Bei der Wiedergabe aber wird die linke obere Ecke (ca. 1/4 des Bildes) über den kompletten Bildschirm vergrößert.Wenn ich nicht eine komplette Reihe ab dem fehlerhaften Clip neu aufnehmen will, habe ich nur 2 Möglichkeiten gefunden: entweder mit irgendeinem Player abspielen und vom Bildschirm neu aufnehmen, das ist zeitaufwendig und blockiert den PC oder im Moviemaker einladen und rendern. Premire ElementsとProの違いを教えて下さい。 Versionは2020です。

This is a problem I have with trying to burn DVDs/ Blu-Rays (Premiere Elements 13). When creating menus I drag the text to the appropriate spot on the screen so it is visible (within 'TV safe zone'). However, when I burn the disc, I discovered that the text had been RESET to a spot that left it half-on/half-off the screen. This problem occurs both when I save the project and when I do not. It has ruined many discs. How do I prevent this? Open to ideas.

I have created a text animation and I'd like to copy and paste it several times to do a comparison.  All I want to do is change the number from #1 to #2 to #3 etc.  But each time I change the # in a pasted clip it changes it in the original copied clip.  Is there a way to change the # in the copied clip without it changing the original?  How do you do it?   Thanks for any help you can give me.
