We just upgraded to Premiere Elements 2019 from 2014 on all of our CPUs (new builds). In the past, we've told our community producers to just copy the VTS (mpg files) folder from theirDVD (recorded on a desktop DVD recorder at their church) to their hard drive and then bringthe files into Premiere. Always worked like a charm in 2014, but in 2019, their not getting any audio \unless they covert their files in another program.Help is greatly appreciated.ThanksSteve
Iv been using prmiere elements for many years as part of my video business I always found it easy to use and and has most of the editing prgramme I needi recenet upgaded from 15 to 2019, and found a problem tried to down load footage from one of my cams and there was no audio on timeline checked origanel and was fine,as most of its for vision wasnt to conserned, however i then need to reedit a video i completed on 15 so i used 2019 version however after lots of trys found that some of the audio was missing not allowing me to redit on2019,after contacting support I was told that any audio captured on dolby would not work on 2019 as dolby is not included in the 2019 package does any one now about this ,apart from the upgraded to 2019 which I wasnt to bothered with wish I had saved my moneyRobSEV
Hi,Newbie question...I'm using Premiere Elements 2019. I've created a slide-in text and would like a background shape to appear along with it. It doesn't have to slide in, but can fade in.I've used one video channel for the slide-in text and another channel to fade-in the shape (that goes behind the text). Is this the best way to build up titles or can you create a title as one element and simply create that on one video channel?I've come from a PowerDirector background where you create titles as a block with everything contained.Incidentally, PD is so slow and crashes a lot, so I've moved to PE 2019.Chris
1) Is there a way to make the Audio Mixer default to +6 DB? As it is I have to do it for every audio clip.2) I read somewhere on the web that the application would display an audio trace. Where/how do I do this?
I have been using PE 2019 for about 6 months and have noticed several small problems.Importing a .mov file created in a TV studio from Tricaster that has been saved to my SSD only the audio is imported. I can successfully import this file to PE 14. I can Share the file as a .mov file and this file will import to PE2019. I can work with the new file in PE14 or PE2019 without problems. The original file plays fine with Quick Time Player.I have a friend who has the same problem with the Tricaster .mov files.Does anyone know if Adobe has changed the file type that can be imported/exported? Is there a setting I am missing? My system is an Imac running OS X Mojave 10.14.5.
When I import a clip into Premiere Elements 2018, the audio does not come with it. Can you help?

I am using windows 10 for my Adobe Premier Element 9. I burn my edited video to a blu ray disk. When I play it back on my TV the aspect ratio is 16x9, but it does not fill the entire screen on the Tv. What do I need to do?
I have PE 11 and running Windows 7 and just had the common issue of an incompatibility error pop up when I opened PE 11. So does my editor partner on his laptop with the same specs. We have successfully used PE 11 for a while now and then got this message. I updated my graphics driver and deleted the baddrivers.txt file and the error screen has gone away but the program will load all different formats of video and the preview window turns white and the audio plays. I've updated codecs. I'm at a loss. Any ideas out there?
I am working on a compilation and from most files I only need a little bit (10s) but the videos are up to 20min long... can I delete the files once they were imported to the project and shrunk down or is premiere elements depending on them as long as the project is not yet rendered? My harddrive is pretty full...
Tried the fixes from online chats. Nothing helps. Tom

Hii have a large catalog but recently i found out i have another one which i wanted to merge with the existing one. from what i understand there is no such option as "merge" 2 catalogs.. so i'm looking for other solution...is there a way maybe i can import that other catalog into existing one? without overriding the existing one?or maybe there is a way to take all the pictures with the tags from that other catalog? many thanks!
Premiere Elements 2019 does not support HEVC so its a waste of money, although Adobe lead you into thinking it does. How about installing this as an update Adobe.
Hi Everyone,I am a complete newbie to video editing - I recently returned from honeymoon and want to make a video including both photos and videos from our trip. When I input photos into the video editor the quality is hugely reduced - they are grainy and not sharp - I have tried pressing the "render" button and this doesn't helpI have read that I may need to resize the images however when I do this they go so small that you cant really see them properlyAll photos were taken on my iPhone and are a mix of portrait and landscape - on my computer the images look really clearAs an example a portrait photo taken is 3024 x 4032 pixelsCan any one help - apologies in advance for my lack of knowledgeThank you so much for your helpChad[Here is the list of all Adobe forums... https://forums.adobe.com/welcome][Moved from generic Cloud/Setup forum to the specific Program forum... In premiere, adding and editing the movie menu, the program gets stuck. The only to get the computer to do anything is to manually shut down the computer. I've tried different files but it keeps acting up. Please help.
I can't export video in PRE18 to a flashdrive.
Somehow, by default my Premier Elements 19 decided to start creating "Candid Moments" and apparently offering it to me even if the app is not running. I don't appreciate this feature and want to turn it off.. but where?
Adobe Premiere Elements 15 does not accept mp4 files taken by Asus Zenfone 5, Taiwanese smart phone I just purchased. Can anyone help me to get it work? Thanks
I am using Premiere Elements 15, Windows 10 Pro, latest updates to both in place.I use this program almost daily, so am very familiar with it. Until today, I could "add media" via the drop-down in the upper left, at which point the media would show up in "project assets." This no longer works. The program SEEMS to be adding the media -- I get NO error message, and the progress bar shows the media being added -- but the "project assets" drop-down merely flashes when clicked. It doesn't open. In other words, if the program IS adding the media, I can't access it. However, I can add a single file if I right-click on it in Windows Explorer and chose "open with Premier Elements" but that precludes adding any additional files. Once the media is opened via this method, the program functions as it should, but again, I can't add any additional media of any type (audio, video).I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program. The problem continues. Any help would be greatly appreciated!Mike
I have the following error on a Premiere Elements file:Premiere Elements has encountered an error.[..\..\Src\Video\VideoSegment.cpp-55]Is there a way to exact the right text from the .prel file to pull out the edits or edit timing to rebuild the file?James[Here is the list of all Adobe forums... https://forums.adobe.com/welcome][Moved from Premiere Pro to Premiere Elements...
