Premiere Elements

Hi Adobe. I was an intermittent user of Premiere Elements 13. To days ago I started on a new project, interviews done by a friend that need to be edited, very basic stuff. But each time I loaded the video in the editor and started working or rendering, the program would crash, freeze, stop halfway the rendering. After checking for updates and such standard troubleshooting attempts, I realized that maybe this version was a bit old, given the evolution of Windows 10. So I bought the upgrade to the 2019 version. Installation went smooth enough, but this version is even more crash-prone that the old one. This is on a Dell XPS-15 2017, with or without the Nvidia graphics processor, Windows 10 64 bit fully patched up, version 1809. Premiere manages to completely crash Windows, something no other program has done to me. . I am done with this, will not spend more time on debugging your video editor. I've been running version 13 for years with no problems. tried running 2019 and it crashes at start up. I get an option to file a crash report but that's it.Looking at event viewer the crashing DLL is dvaaudiodevice.dll. not sure where to get the crash report to post here, but I have sent the crash logs to Adobe. uninstalling or removing hardware that might be causing this crash (like my capture card, USB microphone, or GPU) is not an option.version 13 still running fine while the newest version can't even start, and they want US$70 for an upgrade. good one.

Just installed Premiere Elements 2019 - No Video Preview opens when media file is added to timeline. Any suggestions?Operating System is Windows 7. Thanks.

Does anyone know what the current method is for date \ time stamping is for adobe premiere elements? The last discussion was from 2014 and they suggested a plugin which stopped working with later versions of adobe.please advise.

On veut l'installer sur un PC beaucoup plus performant mais le serveur d'activation n'ai plus actif semble-t-il, y a-t-il un moyen pour pouvoir utiliser première éléments 4.0 ?Sinon, on pensait aussi acheter une version plus récente mais voilà qu'il y aussi "première rush". I am trying to open up a project that I've worked on before in Premiere Elements. I have been able to open this document before, but for some reason can't open it now. I have tried opening it a couple of different ways, but none of them have worked.

I just ran a test on Premiere Elements 2018 vs 2019.Encoding a 4K edited video Six minutes long with color correction.Export to 1080p MP4 with a Ryzen Threadripper 2950 overclocked to 3.9 and 32g memory.Version 2018 used 99.3% of all 32 cores up to 19.4 gig of memory and took 4:22Version 2019 used 98.4% of all 32 cores up to 18.2 gig of memory and took 4:22Out size was the same for both 664mbSo it appears that there was zero improvement on the export.What a complete disappointment.So what was actually improved in 2019?I know my 2018 is super stable but I was hoping for a few reasons to upgrade to 2019.THOUGHTS?

I bought a licensed copy of Adobe Premiere Elements 14 online download version without a CD in 2016. The software has fun fine until the last couple of weeks where I notice some of the options were missing. Yesterday when I opened up the program I get a message telling me my 14 day trial has expired and to purchase the software! I cant seem to find anywhere on the abobe site to fix this issue and I cant find the license key which came with the download 2 years ago

Hello,I purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 14 & Adobe Premiere Elements 14 in Nov 2015.I had to reinstall to a new computer, everything went well and added my serial number butwhen I go to open the program I get a message to install from disk or download the trial.Kind of frustrating. What's the solution to this.Thanks in advance

I have exported my video to DVD but it will not play in my newer DVD players. I am wondering if the output is set to NTSC or PAL; I am not given a choice and since my players only allow NTSC I'm wondering if the output is PAL and that's why it won't play - how do I set this? The only format choice that shows up is Format: MPEG Frame Rate: 25. I cannot alter these settings.

I am using Premier 2019 on a MAC Pro running macOS 10.14.1.  After I import a .mov file Premier will not play the file in the preview window.  Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix this?

2018 version worked perfectly and had all the tools to edit quickly. Adding gimmick automated features at the expense of normal editing makes no sense. The instructions start with 2019, but then degenerate into outdated stuff on early versions.I am so frustrated at this degrade.What do others think?

Hello,I was hoping someone could offer a solution to an issue I am having with Adobe Premiere Elements 15 + GoPro Hero 6 videoing in 4K60fps.I upload all the files to my computer but cannot drop them into Adobe Premiere Elements 15 without getting the error message that this type of file is not supported, or the required codec is not installed.Any advice to proceed would be much appreciated.

I figured if I just added things like an SSD, it would just be putting money into a failing enterprise. It’s got 16 of RAM, an SSD and is an I7. It also has a 2TB hard drive. Greetings,I just bought Adobe Premiere Elements 2019 5 days ago with the intent of recording with my USB webcam. I have the Logitech Brio which works just fine with the Logitech software and OBS. When I would open the webcam for recording I could switch to the Brio and see the preview. When hitting the capture button, I would get a Driver Error (photo included). I installed APE 2019 on my laptop and it works with my built in camera but when I connected the Brio, same problem, Driver Error.Yesterday (off for Thanksgiving) I participated in a chat with Adobe and the Tech remoted to my computer to look at things. He looked various settings and also my device manager, concentrated more on the sound settings as I believe he thought this was the issue, installed newest video drivers. No luck.I had a Logitch 910, which I attached and it worked. I was able to record a video but now preview.Now, my preview does not even work. Hi,     I've  installed Premiere Elements 15 and Photoshop Elements 15 on the same Windows 7 64Bit machine, both installed successfully but Photoshop Elements open to the Welcome screen fine, Premiere Elements won't open at all (no error). Has anyone else had the same issue?

Hallo!Ich habe ein Problem beim konvertieren von Monofiles zu Stereo.Im Grunde genommen beziehe ich meine Audiospur aus Adobe Premiere und versuche sie dann in Audition zu bearbeiten.Jedoch ist mir jetzt aufgefallen, dass wenn ich meine Mono Datei in Stereo umwandeln will, sich das Programm aufhängt.Jetzt weiß ich nicht, was ich machen soll und hoffe, dass ihr mir da weiterhelfen könnt.

I installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019 and Premiere Elements 2019 combination software and neither program is working. When I attempt to create a new project in Premiere elements it freezes and Photoshop cannot find any of my files/photos to upload into organizer. I have Windows 8.1, 64 bit, 4.00 RAM and 210 GB free space. Wondering what my options are as I bought software at Best Buy and cannot return it. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software and it still does not seem to help. Is this a common problem people have had? Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

I am having problems with my 32 bit CS5 on the Mojave OS. I can not find how to change it to 64 bit so I am considering purchasing Premiere Elements.Will it work on a 64 bit system?

Hi I need some advice with trying to render several 1920/1080 HD clips into one huge clip but I don't want to lose any quality but rather just somehow join them all together. One out of the 7 clips as 29 FPS but all the rest is 60 FPS. So is there a way i can render them all together without having to change FPS to match the other? I did a test of what i thought was the correct method and that was to render them all as 29 FPS, because i didn't think it was a good idea to try and save at 59 FPS seeing there was a clip with 29FPS in the project,  but the outcome was terrible!! I lost so much quality!

Hi,I shoot 4K videos and edit them in Premiere Elements. You know how lame the editing panel is in Expert mode. It is too slow to describe and my friends at Adobe do not bother to fix or improve anything at all since last 5/6 years. Well, that was not my point, my point was, does the project settings really have to do anything with video output? For example, this is my present project settings:As you can see this is quite big and creates pressure on the CPU. Adobe has no intention to share some of the pressure with Nvidia/AMD GPUs so what if I take a project with small memory footprint like this one:Then after finishing editing I export the video as 4K? Will that effect my video output quality?

Hi, I am creating a video which I want to apply multiple masks (as mosaic to blur out multiple peoples faces). Is this possible? If so how am I able to do this? Thank you in advance.
