Premiere Elements

When I try to export my project to YouTube the info/options are all in French.  This may be fine if I understood French, but I am English, in England and speak English. Everything else in the program is in English, is there some setting I am missing or is this a known bug and I need to use Translate to work out what is going on?

I am not computer literate and am using an older computer with Windows 10. When my GoPro Hero 8 died recently I got a new Hero 11 replacement. Using the GoPro Hero 11, when I tried to create a video in the video editor I got the message that PE was unable to import the media and I must load HEVC which, according to my computer System, I already have loaded.I then got out an old Hero 8-made video and it loads successfully in the video editor, as usual.?Perhaps I need new hardware?

Seriously: you can move the timeline to a second screen, but the timeline only? Not the video preview window? Is this a joke? No, it's intentionally bad design to make you switch -- to Cyberlink Powerdirector, I guess. Is this functionality unchanged in PrEl 2024? Why doesn't Adobe just have a big free-floating red "X" quit button that you can move to a second monitor? That would be equally useful.  😉

When I open a project in my element 24 created with element 14 , the video and audio track is shown but there is no content.

Pre PE 2024 i used to reduce the size of exported files from PE15 using Handbrake. Prior to loading them to Vimeo.. But PE2024 has its own optimizer now so since September 2023 i have stopped using Handbrake. - still record an hour and  a half film  in PE4 format each month with my Sony A6500 camera but now i can process it with my newly purchased  PE2024 running on me new mega PC with AMD 7900 12 cores and Win11. I now let Adobe do the optimizing. - super! Worked fine for - Sept , Oct. Nov, Dec,  Jan24, Feb24. Then something must have happened in February 2024 that is now causing PE2024 to repeatedly fail to export any files.. After many aborted efforts to fix it.  - increased work areas, seperate drives for program, data and final file, massive additional swap area, shorter 20Minute PE4 files, simpler files with fewer edits, even  no edits.. Hi, I'm trying to Export & Share a 50 minute/4k video file that is 35GB in size in Premiere Elements 2020 and I'm encountering an Export Error saying "Error Compiling Movie - You do not have permission to Create or Delete the Output file" I'm the only user of the MacBook and I have plenty of available memory (105GB). Are you able to explain why I'm getting this error message please and advise how I can overcome it? NB, I do not want to reduce the quality of the output file to reduce the size if that is the issue.

In my case, HDR videos (from my Pixel 😎 import and seem ok until you realize that they're really dim looking compared to how they should look.  My workaround is to strip the hdr metadata via ffmpeg: ffmpeg -i input.mp4 -vf sidedata=delete output_nohdr.mp4 Though it seems really silly that Premiere Elements can't natively handle them properly. Am I doing something wrong? See the screenshot for how it looks in VLC (correct) vs Premiere Elements 2024.   I can give the original video if someone knows how to strip the exif location from it 🙂   

When selecting export to TV it seems to be writing to a flash drive but nothing appears in the preview window. After about 2 hours the flash drive is empty.

I use Premiere Elements 2024  on Windows 11.Can I create automatically  an slideshow in Premiere Elements by selecting a video project  ( file with  .prel  extension)that I created with Premiere ?  The idea is to let the program to select frames from the video and add transitions and zoom effects to create the slideshow.

When I go to update, it says that an update is available.I can do no more than click on ok.The current version is 24.0, but it should be 24.2.Even the support could not initiate the update remotely.I wonder why it doesn't work?

I have been searching, but found noone else with this issue.I just downloaded and installed the PRE15 trial, as I am having massive issues with motion tracking in PRE13 (.. as a quick google search, many others do).The new version looks nice too, however... when I start PRE, there is a warning bell or beep-sound - 2-3 times and if I ALT-TAB out of PRE15 and then back in again, it dings or beeps again.It's driving me absolutely nuts.. to the point that if this is what I can expect to experience with the full version, Adobe can keep it.. Is there a menu somewhere where I can disable this sound?FYI; Windows sounds are set to NONE, and it is only when working with PRE this warning bell/beep plays. Muting PRE in the audio mixer disables it too (.. until I unmute it, then the sound plays once more if I've tried at-tabbing in and out of PRE..).I can reproduce as well by clicking the PRE icon in the task bar to minimize and maxmize PRE. I leave this post in discussion it might be an idea of improvement coming from a bug. Let's dive in. We all know the cursor show the frame to the rigth of itself. I record gameplay and/or movie sequences to make shorts on youtube and tiktok. In my situation the rush I'm using is already edited, but I need to cut between all scene or as said camera plan.Like I mention above the cursor show the "next" frame the one to the right side of the cursor. It suppose to make the source view the first image of the cut, but it sometimes show the last frame of the previous sequence. And sometimes it bug out to show, not show, then show and not show. """Can nyou usee ethe edrill? ?Do oyou?""" The result of the export makes the cut noticable and cranky XD. And I don't like the idea. I hope it sounds clear how I explained. My question is it related to the type of rush? Hiya,Anyone know a trick in Premiere Elements 2024 that forces Project Assets window to be pinned to the screen?Ive tried both the Pin view icon greyed out and with a white background but neither Pin the Asset window. to the screen. is it a bug or is there a secret overide? CheersAllan

Hallo, habe Tage mit einem Projekt gearbeitet. Heute jedoch sagt mir das System. Diese Datei wird nicht unterstützt oder erfordert einen anderen Codec. Wieso kann ich nun das schon berabeitete Projekt niht mehr öffnen. Ich bin verzweifelt.

I bought the licence for Premiere Element yesterday. I have installed the app on two different Macs and on both, Premiere Element is crashing from the moment I try to load a video file.

Good day, I recently downloaded the Premiere Elements 2020 app on my new computer, but when I try to open the Video Editor software the "loading" pop-up appears, only to disappear after 10 seconds but the software doesn't open. I remember having had the exact same issue in the computer where I first downloaded the app years ago but I can't remember how I solved it then, I was hoping you could help, thank you.

I have an LG 4K monitor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti display driver, which I updated. Elements still won't run. (Win 10/ 64-bit.) It ran a few weeks ago, but doesn't now.

My greetings to the community!When i run adobe photoshop elements 2024 and/or premiere elements installer i get sign in error. The message i get is "sign in failed. please retry to load sign-in window again".The sign-in window is never loading. I can only retry (does nothing, or quit)I get no error code, besides the message above.Tried to disable antivirus and firewall.I run the latest Windows 11 on a brand new built.I am attaching a screenshot.Serial No's are registerd in my adobe account and i dowload the installer from my profile.Is it maybe because my mail on the account is different from that my PC logs in?Any help is appreciated. I think i have tried everything and haven't seen in any thread/post this issue!
