Premiere Elements

Hello,I upgraded to Adobe Premiere Elements 2023 for the ability to edit HEVC (h.265) files without the need to convert to h264 first.I loaded a series of 4k HEVC videos from my GoPro into PE and edited them into a 1+ hour long video. Everything seemed to be working ok (although a little sluggish) until I went to export the video.Exporting the video to 4k h264 (using a variety of different settings for testing, same outcome every time) the memory usage from Premiere Elements is off the charts. It'll spike my RAM close to 100% during encode and the encode will fail, stating that the application is low on memory and needs to restart. Once or twice the excessive RAM usage crashed my PC.My PC is no slouch either:32GB RAMIntel Core i7 6700NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 GPUWindows 10 Pro 22H2As a further testing measure, I loaded the same project on my laptop and had the exact same results (although the specs on the laptop aren't quite as good as my PC).Has anyone else experienced this? Total newbie here. I downloaded a music performance onto my PC. It looked good. The moment I click and dragged it into Adobe Elements Premier it had weird shadows and looked poor. I edited and posted on Youtube. It looks horrible but sounds good. A friend said the .MOV format is to blame...should be MP4. I have no idea!!!! I am using 2021 premeire on Mac M1 processor.  The following are the action i took1. Add videos to the asset2. Import files from the asset to the time line. Some videos are dark but audio is there. I just installed the 2021 on macbook pro M1 and did the updates.Appreciate any help.Thanks,Hannibal

Video Editing ProblemsI realize that this subject has been covered previously, but nothing solves the problem for me.  Playback stutters and freezes unpredictably.  After pressing “Render”, video starts playing immediately, but then freezes again. When the Project Asset drop down window is open it partially blocks the video display field. Is there a way to move the video display field or shrink the Project Asset drop down window? It is annoying to repeatedly have to close the Project Asset window so I can work on positioning an image or video within the primary video project. I did not have this problem with Premier Elements 2022.

I am able to import, but when I try to play it I get error "unable to load...missing codec".  Clip is about 9 years old, don't remember the camera, it plays in QT, shows a thumbnail in finder and imported into Premiere.  Finder info doesn't show any additional detail about the codec contained in the file. I converted it to .mov using AVC and it imports and plays in premiere elements, but I'm wondering how to figure out what codec is missing and how to "install" it on my computer to avoid having to convert a bunch of similar files?  Sorry if I missed an answer somewhere in the community but I'm new to video editing and this community.  

How can I make Premiere Elements 2024, Windows 11, to accept the NVIDIA RTX 2050 GPU?

It's been about two years since Intel Arc has come out, will premiere elements ever get support for it?

I have an old license (2016) which is registered.   When I launch the application, I have to login and then I get a screen for a 30 day trial period. I've reviewed the only other forum I could find concerning this issue from back in 2020 and none of the recommended resolutions have any effect. I've upgraded the video driver to the latest driver but no change. This whole issue started this past year, 2023. I've been using Adobe Premiere Elements for quite awhile and I never had problems with the video review until recently. It was working fine one day and the next, bam, it was jittery. At first, I was able to close out of Premiere Elements and reopen it and sometimes it would be fine. Now, it's always jittery when I need to review the video I'm working on. I'm using Adobe Premiere Elements 2021 on a computer with Windows 11 (upgraded to Windows 11 to see if that would resolve the jittery issue but it didn't), Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700 CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHz, 32GB of RAM; with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti. I've tried uninstalling, turning the computer off and back on, reinstalled Premiere Elements 2021 without any luck. I even

Note below that the  "Haze Removal" icon does not appear under "Advanced Adjustments" in my Photoshop Elements 20 Video Editor, nor does it anywhere under "Show All", nor when typing in "Haze" in the optional search bar..  I had actually used it some weeks ago when editing another video, but it seems to have disappeared.  I also tried uninstalling and then reinstalling Premiere Elements 20, but it still does NOT appear.  Can anyone explain how this might have happened and/or offer advice to restore the "Haze Removal" feature under "Advanced  Adjustments" editing effects? 

I am trying to change the duration of the default transition between clips. When I go to helpx.adobe.com/premiere-elements/using/adjusting-transitions, under "Set a default duration for transitions," it provides this navigation, which is obviously incorrect: That navigation does not exist in PP. When I go to helpx.adobe.com/premiere-elements/using/modifying-customizing-transitions, under "Set the default duration for transitions," it provides these steps: The two options in step 2 do not exist at that location. Two questions: 1. Are the instructions at helpx.adobe.com characteristically incorrect? (If so, I'll save time by not look there in the future.) 2. How/where do I change the duration for default transitions? Thank you.

I have several custom titles that I don't use - and have since archived pieces of them onto my external drive. Now every time I open titles it's asking where those pieces are. I don't like these titles and I want to permanently delete them.This is especially important bc when it can't find the missing pieces it will eventually crash and I lose unsaved progress. How can I get rid of these custom motion titles I made?

i was using the trial version of Premiere Elements, and i made a video using the Ultra Key effect. All worked well, so i paid for the full version of Premiere Element and all of a sudden the Ultra Key effect does not work and it just basically turns my clip black and white. can i please have some help with this

Ich habe beim MAC vollen Festplattenzugriff für Remiere Elements freigegeben. Beim Exprotieren erscheint sofot folgende Fehlermeldung'ADobe Premiere Elements kann keine Daten auf "/users/.../Library/Application Support/Adobe/Premiere Elements/24.0/SC/Workflows" speichern und muss beendet werden. Stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie über die entpsrechenden Ordnerberechtigungen verfügen und starten Sie die Anwendung neu.  Ich möchte ja eigentlich sowieso einen anderen Export Ordner - wo kann ich den einstellen? Weiters ist mir aufgefallen, dass sich die Voreinstellungen auch nicht speichern lassen (z.b. Hell-/Dunkelmodus) aber ohne Fehlermeldung.  HAb schon deinstalliert und nochmal neu installiert - kein Erfolg.  Vielleicht kann mir wer helfen?Vielen Dank!

I got a 2  part package of Photoshop elements (loaded fine) and Premiere Elements 10 (on launch got error 1).I loaded the 2nd disk, turned off the virus checker, loaded fine, and restarted, but when I launched the program it got an error 1 (see attached file). I have uninstalled and re-installed 3x , and one time from copied disk to desktop, and still error 1.I have a desktop computer running :Windows 7 64-bit.16 GB DD3 RAM,Intel core 15-4670 CPU@ 3.40 GHZ, Intel (R)HD Graphics 4600, NVIDIA GeForce DTX 650 TiI have looked at all the forums about this issue without results.Appreciate any info.Regards, Millard

Hello - first time posting here - I'm having the same problem with my files, but on a Mac. I've already used a file metadata editor to populate the "Media Created Date" with the right one, but Premiere insists on importing them with a "system zero" date (in my case, 1-1-1970). It must be pulling it from some other date field but I can't find it. Anyone know of any solution for MacOS?

Because Adobe Premiere Elements was working very badly, I bought a new laptop, Samsung Pro, last week for over 2000 euros.With a 954GB disk (C), memory 16GB, processor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1360P, and still it is a big drama.I don't want to switch to Apple, but I think Adobe is unsuitable for Windows laptops. If this is true, then Adobe should offer its standalone video-editing applications for sale only for Apple. Does anyone else have this experience too, and maybe a tip? When I use Adobe Premiere, even with an uploaded 130-second video: it's not doable. No picture, jerky picture, sometimes picture. Crash reports.. 10 minutes ago my whole laptop went black. When using, trying to do so, Adobe Premiere elements 2024, I turn off all other programmes on my laptop. The thought 'I need to quickly edit a video' seems impossible to execute. Mid last year I purchased Premiere Elements 2023. Worked great until I started using the titles. Turns out I cannot use about 3/4 of all the titles, since I get an error message, each timeI do, of:  error 'E\Adobe\pre\main\Libraries\TitleCreator\Sre\Titler.cpp-3907'.  What doe it mean? Does the program look for titles in a 'E' drive (or DVD drive)? What remedy is there to solve this problem? Does deleting the program and downloading the software again fix it? According to the salesperson through whom I purchased it it does not...

Hi all, hoping I can get some help/answers...I have been using my OLD Adobe Premiere Elements 10 on my 2+ year old Dell (running Windows 10) all this time with very little issue. (Yes, the program is ancient, but it's WHAT I HAVE. And for the editing I do, it has worked for me. No judging please! :P)  Up until what I can only assume was around October, my computer must have run a particular update that SCREWED something up with the display driver. And since I will sometimes go weeks or MONTHS between using my PE program, I did not know this had happened at the time, so now it is too late to do any restoring.When I start the program, it gives me a pop-up saying:"We have detected an incompatible display driver. To get a better and faster playback performance, please update your display driver. Display driver details :Intel - Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630 3.0.0Build 27.20.100.9664" ...I click OK and my program runs normal for the MOST part, except when I double click a video fr

My timeline has a mix of clips from a video camera and clips with audio I recorded on my PC.  For the audio I recorded, I hear it in both speakers.  For the audio recorded by the camera, I only hear it in the left channel.  When I look at properties for the clips, they both say they are "mono" for both Source Audio and Project Audio (although at different sample rates).  How do I fix the audio from the camera so I hear it in both left and right speakers?  "Mono" should obviously do this automatically. I can't find anything remotely related in any help or online source.  I did find someone showing a way to fix this in Premiere Pro, but the menu items he used do not seem to exist in Premiere Elements.
