Premiere Elements

On play back I notice that I wanted to have the background option to change it from black to white since I am placing various small clip on the stage which black does not work for me. So, how do I change the black backdrop stage (when the video plays) to white backdrop stage so when it plays back the scene is white and not black?

My software was working on my machine for about 6 months and recently stopped working.  I am able to get to the welcome screen but after I click the Video Editor I get a windows error saying "Adobe Primiere  Elements has stopped working."I have uninstalled and reinstalled it without any success. I have tried updating my video driver (per Adobe suggestion) but also nothing.

Hello tech people,I am trying to build a package to be deployed in our internal app store. But i am having trouble finding the correct parameters to silently uninstall the app.If im going the use the uninstall string, end-user needs to check the box "Remove User Preference" and click uninstall. My goal is no UI.Any help with be appreciated.Thanks!-M

I imported mp4 files from my Go Pro to a timeline. Sound was working great. I added some text and restarted the playback, and now no sound. I did not do ANYTHING except added text in Expert Mode. Running Premiere Elements 15, totally up to date. WTF? This program is pretty glitchy. BTW,  I have i7 latest generation, 16 GB of Ram, Realtek High Definition Audio. Sound works on PC, just not in PE. If anyone has seen experienced this issue before, I would greatly appreciate feedback. Right now, I am rendering the video to see if this corrects the problem.Jeff

I made a project in version 12, but I read that I can stabilize clips in version 13 and newer. So I downloaded a trial version of 14 and when I open the project I get the message that Adobe can't open because of an unknown error.What can be wrong?

I have used my Panasonic HC- X929 camcorder to recorded my video (with SanDisk Extreme SDXC  45MB/S) to edit my video, it was AVCHD (MTS) video format； During my editing in the Adobe Premiere Elements 11, it had worked complete well with its sound and music, even with editing music and burned my Blue-ray Disc.Recently I have recorded my video with SanDisk Extreme PRO SDXC 95MB/S, during the editing in the same software , the video (video 1) is normal but it has no sound signals in the video (sound 1), it remain blank！Now I am using Windows 7；all of the SanDisk SD 95MB/S data was first download to the PC videos HDD, from this videos HDD then shifted to the software for editing；During my editing video in Adobe Premiere Elements 11, I did not see audio waves in audio layer；now I am trying a test version Adobe Premiere Elements 15 for editing, its occurred 2 problems：1. Video in SD 95MB/S -  video signals remain fine, but still no sound signals or audio waves2. Video in SD 45MB/S

Hello everyone.I m having an issue when i use effect controls on adobe premiere.When i need to change the parameters (for example scale, position etc) i can only doing by digiting numbers, not like scrolling left-right with my pen, like i was used to.I have no idea and no clue if there s some setting that wend down.

Hello,I'm using premiere elements 14 on a windows 10 64 bit pc. I have created an instant movie with some photos. Now I want to breaking apart it but I haven't found the command to perform this action. I have try to right click on the movie on the timeline but I haven't find the command (you can see the attached image). .Can you help me please ?Thanks in advanceEmanuele

I​ have a problem. The program will not accept videofiles any more. If I am lucky and get one added it is not showing correct, and after short time the program is interupted. Sory aber meine Englisch Kenntnisse sind nicht ausreichend, daher stelle ich meine Frage in Deutsch :ich benutze Premiere Elements 11 und bearbeite gerade einen Film. Dieser enthält viele Scenen, welche ich über das Fimmenü später auf einer BR direkt ansteuern kann.Leider bekomme ich die Fehlermeldung dass nur maximal 25 Filmszenen im Auswahlmenü angezeigt werden, obwohl ich insgesamt 36 Menü-Punkte dem Film hinzufügen konnte.Auch nach langer suche habe ich keine Möglichkeit gefunden wo / und wie diese Begrenzung aufgehoben werden könnte.Daher bitte ich um einen entsprechenden Tip

I purchased Adobe Photoshop, then a few weeks later upgraded to Premiere. Product worked fine for a while. However, Photo Editor no longer will open, nothing happens when you click on it. From the start up screen, Organizer and Video Editor still open and work but Photo Editor will not. I am running Windows 10.Thank you.

Hello, Please can you help with a problem I am having with Premiere elements 12.   AVCHD video imported and edited ok, when I burn a DVD the quality is good,  butwhen saving as a file, ( I have tried many but would like to save as MP4,  the video is vibrating side o side during panning and zooming ).Thank You,S. I have an issue each time I export a file with adobe premiere elements 14 since today. The exportation works (I have the file.mp4 in my folders) but VLC media player can not read it. Please help. Thanks.

How do I get the audio wave file to show? It use to show, but no longer? I need it to sync my animation to waveform in the Narration track. Also does matter if I more it to a different track.

Can't hear audio! OK. Mute is OFF. All tests are fine for audio and speakers. I can hear sound on things outside of Premiere. I see the audio levels of my video indicate sound. But I can't hear anything. Would love some help.  ....Susan V

Hi,Needing help with registering my serial number for adobe photoshop elements 15 & premiere elements 15 Student version. My serial number is only 19 numbers long not the standard 24 numbers long. I cant believe after spending £70 on this stupid program it doesn't even have the most basic of functions for video editing. I recently changed from corel video studio as I was caught up with all the flashy advertising about this product.First off their is no gallery like in corel VS where you can move clips from the video you are editing. So that you can move them and slot them into your video as you are going. There is the media gallery and Project assets gallery but you cant move clips you have split into either of those.But worse off and probably one of the most basic functions is being to lock an audio track so that everytime you edit the video track it doesn't alter the audio. I have looked everywhere and cant seem to be able to find this function. when you click on the help button it just tells you about premier pro.I am so annoyed I have bought this program which is so basic it should be free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am really mad, I don't use Premiere Elements very often, but ever since I installed Photoshop and Premiere Elements 15 it crashes right after starting the editor. Organizer and Photoshop editor are running fine. What can I do? Regards,Susanne

I can not record audio/voice overs with my Samson Meteor Mic and Premiere Elements 15.After 1-2 secs I get this horrible and loud feedback sound, check out this video I madeAudio problems with Adobe Premiere Elements 15 - YouTube Using Windows 7, checked my audio settings in the control panel.Even lowered my microphone level to under 50.The super frustrating part is that my setup/mic works just as it sound in Videostudio andPowerDirector. This is making me think it must be Premiere Elements, the program or settingsin the programs.Anyone ever have this problem and can give me guidance?Thank youSteve

HiI have tried to reinstall Photoshop / Premiere Elements 13 onto my newly purchased computer from the software download card. The Photoshop Elements works fine but the Premiere Elements application will not open at all when clicking on create a new project.Please help.Thanks
