I have used Premiere Elements 2022 successfully for the past 4 months. Since updating to Sonoma OS the program keeps crashing every time I drag the playhead or hit the play button on a new video I am trying to create. I've tried creating several new videos and the same thing happens. The weird thing is I can open my old videos in PE and play them just fine. Anybody know how to fix?
When someone takes a iphone video with phone turned vertical (instead of sideways) the clips are distorted (everything is fat). How to correct this distortion?
Hello,do you know if it's still possible to make a menu for dvd?The online help says yes, but in Advanced Mode I can't find the "movie menu" (in italian, Menu Filmato) inside the Instruments bar nor in the main menu.Thank you
I create a lot of captions in my Premiere Elements 2023 videos. It is a laborious process to one-by-one select the font, font size, select bold, then select color. Is there any way in this version or the new 2024 version to set a selected font, size, bold option, and color? This would be a huge timesaver. I've suggested this in the past, but have never received a response. A 2018 response to this question said you could only select a default style. I want more than that.
Been trying to get Elements 2022 to import a .Mov File on my laptop that was imported from my Iphone 13. It's in 1920x1080 30fps. Ive followed all the instructions I could find on the subject "Hevc" regarding giving permissions, deleting caches folders and such but no luck. I can open the same .mov file with no problems in Adobe Rush, The windows media player and such but no matter what I've done it still wont import to Elements 2022 Any ideas?
If users try to edit a video in Adobe Elements, the sound will not be synced. The file is an mp4 files. When users try to trim the video using Elements, the sound gets out of sync by about 2 or 3 seconds. They can manually adjust the audio but it's not ideal and it takes time to try and line it up perfectly and with the amount of videos they edit, that solution is not ideal. We have tried using a Handbrake to force a constant frame rate but this did not help. We have also verified our systems are powerful enough to meet minimum requirements for the 2021 version of Adobe elements. Any other suggestions that might help resolve this issue?
For more than 2 weeks I'm in contact with support because Premiere Elements is not usaeable on my MAC. It doesn't allow to export any video. Anyway, they even took a closer look into this issue. And now they offer me a Windows license, which I would have to pay! They must be kidding! The last message was, that I have to wait for the next update, which probably is published in 6 months. I found a message from a user with exactly the same problem (but on version 2021 or so) and he mentioned, that it was solved from Adobe support. I even linked this message to the support - but it seems, they weren't even interested in supporting me, that I can use the product. I know, the elements series is a low cost product, but I expect something working if I pay money for it. So, for me, I never buy any Adobe products again.
I have created an MP4 file using ScreenRec 1.0.87 to capture TV video (2 min 51 sec). After loading it into Premiere Elements 14 the video and audio is out of sync.
I want to put a photo/video collage in my video, but I don't like all of the crazy transitions that the photos are automatically coming into the screen with. How can I edit or turn off the transitions in the collage feature? Thanks.
I couldn't find a group where this fit so I am putting it here.I updated from Photoshop/Premier Elements from 2021 to 2022 (windows version) last week.I leave my PC on 7x24 and this morning when I signed in, it seemed to be overly sluggish. Looking at the task manager, I noted that the 2022 Elements Auto Creation process was taking 89% of my memory and not giving it back.I contacted support to see if there was a new setting to contol the behaviors of this process and there wasn't.I never noted this behavior in the 2021 version of the products and updated my catalog to 2022 at installation. To get the resources back, I was about to kill the process in Windows task manager, but my PC lost the display and had to be rebooted. It would be nice if you gave the end users some control of this process (like only run with screensaver or defining off hours)Thanks,Mark
I moved to a new computer this week and I've installed Premiere Elements and Elements Organizer on my new computer. Premiere Elements is on my C drive, but I installed my old Elements Organizer files on my G Drive. I can not figure out how or where to tell Elements Organizer where to look for my old Elements Organizer files. PLEASE NOTE: I do NOT want to MOVE my photos to Elements Organizer, I only want EO to know where my photos are (on the D Drive) and where my old EO backups are. I've searched the help resources without finding anything that addresses my questions. Where does these settings live?
I have downloaded and AVI file that VLC shows has a subtitle track in it. ffmpeg is unable to remove that track (and I am not talking about burned-in subtitles). No other app that I can lay my hands on shows the subtitles. Can Premiere 14 show subtitles, and, if so, where is it? [title edited for clarity by mod]
How can I rotate a video in Premiere Elements and keep the original resolution? the standard rotatioon maintains the original resolution and cuts the video off. example: I have a gopro video. It is at 3840 horizontal by 2160 vertical. When I rotate it using the Applied Effects command, what I want is a video that is 2160 horizontal by 3840 vertical with all the data. Instead I get a 3840x2160 video with black bars on the sides and the top and bottom of my video cut off to fit the 3840 down to a 2150 resolution. I can scale the image down to see the top/bottom but now I am losing quality. Is there a way to rotate and keep the original sizes just in the new orientation? It won't let me attach screenshots, I don't know why, I will see if I can add them later
Hello,I upgraded to Adobe Premiere Elements 2023 for the ability to edit HEVC (h.265) files without the need to convert to h264 first.I loaded a series of 4k HEVC videos from my GoPro into PE and edited them into a 1+ hour long video. Everything seemed to be working ok (although a little sluggish) until I went to export the video.Exporting the video to 4k h264 (using a variety of different settings for testing, same outcome every time) the memory usage from Premiere Elements is off the charts. It'll spike my RAM close to 100% during encode and the encode will fail, stating that the application is low on memory and needs to restart. Once or twice the excessive RAM usage crashed my PC.My PC is no slouch either:32GB RAMIntel Core i7 6700NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 GPUWindows 10 Pro 22H2As a further testing measure, I loaded the same project on my laptop and had the exact same results (although the specs on the laptop aren't quite as good as my PC).Has anyone else experienced this? What could
Total newbie here. I downloaded a music performance onto my PC. It looked good. The moment I click and dragged it into Adobe Elements Premier it had weird shadows and looked poor. I edited and posted on Youtube. It looks horrible but sounds good. A friend said the .MOV format is to blame...should be MP4. I have no idea!!!! Here is what it looks like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7hyskt7IEU Please help on what format i need to convert it to and how. Thank you,Daniel

Video Editing ProblemsI realize that this subject has been covered previously, but nothing solves the problem for me. Playback stutters and freezes unpredictably. After pressing “Render”, video starts playing immediately, but then freezes again. Although Premiere Elements 2018 is a recent upgrade, problems started with version 15. All suggestions welcome. When the Project Asset drop down window is open it partially blocks the video display field. Is there a way to move the video display field or shrink the Project Asset drop down window? It is annoying to repeatedly have to close the Project Asset window so I can work on positioning an image or video within the primary video project. I did not have this problem with Premier Elements 2022.
a ma connection de photoshop eleme t le message est" tester la version d'essai" alors que j'ai la liicence et que le montage video fonctionne parfaitement
I am able to import, but when I try to play it I get error "unable to load...missing codec". Clip is about 9 years old, don't remember the camera, it plays in QT, shows a thumbnail in finder and imported into Premiere. Finder info doesn't show any additional detail about the codec contained in the file. I converted it to .mov using AVC and it imports and plays in premiere elements, but I'm wondering how to figure out what codec is missing and how to "install" it on my computer to avoid having to convert a bunch of similar files? Sorry if I missed an answer somewhere in the community but I'm new to video editing and this community.
How can I make Premiere Elements 2024, Windows 11, to accept the NVIDIA RTX 2050 GPU?
It's been about two years since Intel Arc has come out, will premiere elements ever get support for it?
I have an old license (2016) which is registered. When I launch the application, I have to login and then I get a screen for a 30 day trial period. How do I use my old license again?
