Premiere Elements

It use to work - easy to export my video files. Now it exports audio only and I cant get the video to play or or download. The video plays fine in all my video players but I cant get it to export the video portion so I can edit it.  HELP!

After each trip we produce a DVD of the trip.  We incorporate both still images and video.  Rarely do we use the images and video chronologically.  So far we've used the Windows photo application to sequence images and video by labeling them 001, 002, 003, etc. and them importing the images into Premiere Elements. This works fine except I'd much rather use Elements Organizer if possible.  Can I re-arrange image sequence in Organizer? If so, how?  Thanks

I have both Premier Elements 9 and 13 loaded on my PC running W7. In trying to burn a DVD for about 200 images (approx 1G to size) with either PE7 or PE13 i get the "encoding error" message. I have tried disabling my file protection software (Norton, Malware Bytes), but still am unable to burn a DVD. I get the same error trying to burn to a folder. Any suggestions for a work-around?

I've been waiting until CES announcements to decide what to replace my current computer with. Due to my extensive travel, my only computer these days is a laptop. My current laptop is several years old, but it is a behemouth: Alienware M17x that weighs about 10 pounds, gets so hot (quickly) it's tough to hold even with a pad, and has a battery life of about an hour which makes it worthless on a plane or in an airport with few outlets or on a long car trip. I no longer play games on my laptop (all my gaming is on my PS4) so I mainly use it for Word (Excel, Word, PPT) and internet and work type "stuff" - I also use it to store all my music and movies for my Plex server (cast to Chromecasts.) The ONLY things that requires some decent power is video editing. I've been using Cyberlink Powerdirector for years, recently purchased PE15. But even with the video editing, my work flow is usually taking HD videos, 1080p or 720p (not 4K for now), editing them down to smaller pieces, then combining

I have been on the Chat Forum tonight for over 3 hours to be told that Adobe does not support Premier Elements via phone or chat.I have downloaded Photoshop Elements and got it fully installed. I am using Premiere Elements 14 to capture live video from a webcam and would like to get my audio thru an alternate interface (tascam US-16x08).I am able to find and select the interface in the capturing source but when I hit record, no audio gets recorded. It also seems like Premiere keeps crashing when i try this method. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Installed my old Elements 7 on Windows 10.  Slide/video project went OK, but I can't record it.  Then a window pops up with a link to an encoder webpage, that just shows a 404 error.  I did pay and register for this way back and still have the box.  What can I do?LB

I am burning my video project onto a DVD-R. After it displays "Burn complete", I insert it into my DVD player - but it says not playable. Is another step needed to finalize the disk? Any common problems?I am using PE14.

I am getting to know Premier 14 on a windows 7 PC with 8 GB of memory. I was practicing on a 30 minute clip and decided to render it. The machine bogged down after about 16% done and I canceled. When I returned to the project the original media was gone and was replaced in the timeline (and on the assets frame) by an MP4 symbol (but of course there was really no file there because rendering was canceled). I can't get the original media back, even after exiting and re-starting. What happened?

I'm still getting an error label at the bottom left of the share and export window during the creation of an ISO image for burning. This is occurring after the encoding and at the start of the burn in process. (whatever that is) It gets to around 1% and then it stops with the error label. No message alluding to why this is happening is given. I have tried several times using the ISO Image 25 GB selection (for blu ray discs) and the disc selection but neither works. I do not have any stop markers in my project. I have used CCleaner to get rid of potential problems, and I have cleaned the media cache. I am using Windows 10 Pro and Adobe Premiere Elements 14. Please help.

I am thinking about buying Premier Elements 15, but I have a question. Can you create a DVD menu where you can choose between the main movie and Bonus Features on the menu? I have been using ROXIO MyDVD and I was able to do that, including a intro video before it got to the menu. So my question is, is that possible with Premier Elements 15?Thanks

I have been adding transitions between clips using cross dissolve. My project is made up of MT2 and JPEG clips. Where the story changes I have replaced the transition with a Fade Out Audio and Video on the end of the clip and a Fade In Audio and Video on the beginning of the next clip. When I then run play, just after the middle of the fade PE15 closes down. I have tried deleting some frames from the end and beginning of each clip, but this doesn't solve the problem.Any ideas?Russell

I'm using PE9, the program won't let me upload a video that is over 15 minutes.  I've done everything I need to do on youtube to allow it.If I download to the desktop and then upload I lose quality. ???

Till now I export my Premiere Elements 15 projects to the preset HD1080. For most of my projects the resulting mp4 is OK but for some, when playing I through my Chromecast to TV the music track, and only the music track, faulters, seems to 'hesitate'. The videotracks are OK, including the sound going with them. When I recode using VidCoder to another mp4, everything is OK. I tried reducing / increasing the the framerate, bitrate, comparing lenght etc... . I encountered the problem with for the moment 3 files, whilea lot of other projects rendered without a problem. Support chat told me  there is a difference with the encoding of the music track, the codec in which Elements is exporting the file is not compatible with Chromecast. If so I should have problems with each of the projects.I suspect the music track with the new feature of altering the lenght of the music being the cause of the problem, which should be an issue for Adobe.Anyone with the same experience ?

Is there a setting that allows me to start Premiere 15 in other than full screen mode?  I am using a windows win 7 pc.  Every time I open Premiere, it opens by default in full screen.  I adjust the workspace size to what Iwant, but after closing and reopening, it reopens in full screen.Thanks

Every time I try to build a web dvd, or transfer my movie to QuickTime or Windows Media Player, the application will crash toward the end.  What can I do to prevent this from happening?  I really need this to be done.Any help would be appreciated, thank you.  I have tried restarting my computer-- disabling apps, all of that.

Is it possible to create a new / custom video collage template inn APE15?I need a 2 grid with horizontal split.  The closest thing I see to that is a 3 grid vertical split.I can manually create the effect but would like to use the functionality of the video collage.THanksDave

I have elements 15 and am trying to export my video in 1080 at 60fps which I know it was shot in with my gopro. When I try to export it I have to go to custom settings to change the framerate to 60fps. When I do this and save my changes and hit the save button it tells me that my file name is invalid. I tried many different options for file names, even the default one, and still nothing worked. If anyone has any tips I would appreciate it. Thanks

I am trying to create a simple title with a Lens Flarevideo is blank (black) 5 seconds. I add lens flare and open Applied Effects. and the stopwatch. I then set the brightness to 0 and click the stopwatch on the left that adds a key frame. I then move the time-line along and change the brightness to 100%. No keyframe. I try to click key frame and it just moves the original keyframe along the timeline...Anyone know how this works on a Mac. Is El Capitan 10.11.6 Am using Premiere Elements 11.

I am a registered as being an owner of Photoshop CS6.I also have bought Premiere Elements 2012 & 2013 and use them successfully.I am concerned about so many web sites and companies use of Flash and the fact it is easy for the bad guys to send me corrupt files without my knowledge.Many companies are no longer using Flash because of this.My question is this:I now use Flash only for Adobe Premiere. I uninstall it when not in use for Premiere 2012 & 2013 which I purchased from you.I am an avid online reader of any information which will help me use my programs.One of the things I have read is that there is a version of "Flash" safe to keep on my computer which is not subject to hacking because is has limited things it is capable of doing. Please answer the following:1/ Is this true? The windows version I have been taking on & off my W-7 / I-7 machine is 24.0.0186.2/ Does Premiere 15 still need flash to run?3/ Is Premiere a standalone program or a transparent update on the 2013

I'm usually pretty good at sorting myself out with errors, but this on has me stumpted.Running PE11. Win 8.1.Quicktime updated.No pending or outstanding Windows updates.Nvidia graphics updated.Removed and reinstalled PE11. Fresh install onto C drive, with a large amount of free space.Software runs fine, until I try to adjust something. Gamma, Color, SmartFix - within the adjust tab.. etc. instant runtime error.Anybody got anything else to try to knock this on the head? really need to get a project over with.thanks all.

I'm coming from premiere elements 14, and I never ran into this issue before.  I'm animating a rocket going across the screen, I want it to rotate like it's out of control.  It use to be simple, after i set the path, i rotate each individual frame.  But now, when i rotate, it rotates the object for all the frames.  How do i set it to rotate for each individual frame in the path.  Thanks again.  Dan
