My project will not burn to DVD. It will get to the final stage (where it actually burns to DVD) and stop at 12% for hours.Software: Pre Elements 12Computer: PCTroubleshoot: I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

Hello guysI cant start my Adobe Premiere Elements 12! There appears an error message and only thing i can do is to close it. I actualized all drivers and deinstalled/installed it 3 times but nothing is working. The programm worked before, but i dont know at what point it changed.thanks for helping

Ever since I upgraded my nVidia video drivers to the latest version, 21.21.13.7595, Premiere Elements 12 refuses to load.I followed all the troubleshooting steps, including de-installing everything, i.e. both Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12, rebooting, doing a fresh install but to no avail.Photoshop Elements 12 works fine, but Premiere Elements 12 just refuses to load.I informed Adobe about this through the Chat support, but after giving the agent my email ID and serial number, the agent just told me to post here...

HelloThe movie clip I have is 40 minutes long and over 20 years old. I have converted it from a VHS tape and saved it as a mpg file and installed it onto my PC. When I play the file in VLC Media Player the first 5 minutes have a green cast.In Premier Elements 11, I have managed to remove most of that cast by playing around with Effects | Colour | Hue, Saturation and Brightness but the first few minutes of the clip are now almost in black and white.Due to the age of the original VHS tape and the fact that it has undergone a conversion, I am not expecting a Warner Bros performance from Premier Elements, but is it possible to remove or lessen the green cast without affecting the other colours in the first 5 minutes of the clip?Many thanksSteve

I have installed this application on my laptop. When I try to open Premier Elements, I will get an announcement: We have found an incompatible display driver. To get better and faster performance, please update your display driver. I have done it several times but always same result. I have asked help from HP, but it couldn't help.I have Win 10 64-bit, AMD A10-8700, 12Gb. Display 1:  AMD Radeon R8 365 DX, display 2: AMD Radeon R6 Graphics. I have an older version of Premier Elements (V. 4) that I have reinstalled on a new computer.  I am having problems registering the product.  When I go to the "Help" menu and click on "Registration", it gives me an error message saying it was unable to connect to Adobe to register my product.  Obviously I am connected to the internet, I am accessing Adobe writing this help question. Is there a phone number I can call to get it registered or a website I can go to?  I have not been able to get to a site to do so.

Hi everyone,I'd like to uninstall the update to Premiere Elements 14.1 -- want to get back to 14.0.How do you do this?I'm on a Mac, using OSX Yosemite.The problem (which is SUPER FRUSTRATING) is that I can't open a recent project in the updated version: I get an error message saying that the project is not compatible with this version.I've seen a few complaints about that error message in various forums, but no obvious fixes -- except to delete an updated preferences file, and I can't find such a file.I want to finish that project! I've had adobe premiere elements for several years, but it won't open a new project anymore. it was fine for a long time, but now it won't... any ideas? Quite frustrating. I saw a previous thread where you delete your preferences in the %appdata%, but that didn't help either. I've reinstalled it twice. Any help would be much appreciated.

I have Windows 10 (upgraded from 8.1) and Premiere Elements 13 was running perfectly until a few weeks ago. I tried running it today, but it crashes on startup, on the splash screen. I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything, but it is still crashing. I checked the logs and there is nothing there.Does anyone have an idea what I should do to run it again?

I can't expand the project assets panel horizontally or diagonally, only straight up and down. Also, several functions supposed to be in the panel are not visible. Any ideas?

Ich möchte ein Video aus 1200 Clips von einem Panasonic HD Camcorder erstellen. Wenn ich die Clips vollständig geladen habe und im Expertenmodus den Audio Mixer aufrufe, stürzt das Programm ab, sowie ich den Schieberegler bewege. Das Programm muß neu gestartet werden. Rechner runtergefahren usw., alles probiert aber keine Lösung.MIt 620 Clips funktioniert die Sache einwandfrei, in Premiere Elements 13 auch! In PE14.1 I created a DVD of family photos and videos for a relative, but unfortunately their basic DVD player only plays MPEG-1 format videos. Several questions:I think I know the answer but I'll ask anyway.  Is it possible to create an MPEG-1 video directly from PE14.1?There are several MPEG-2 to MPEG-1 converters available.  After conversion does the DVD main menu still work, and are effects such as cross dissolve still there?Any recommendation on which converter to use?Thanks,Joe

Hi - I'm currently having an issue with my video after exporting it to youtube using a  Fv4 file. The video has black borders and I can't seem to fix the issue post production. After reviewing my project in Premiere Elements I realized that the first video I imported into the project assets had QT codec without the 16:9 ratio. This locked my presets and changed the format to all my subsequent videos in the project assets. The majority of the footage I used came from a GoPro, so most of the file were compressed down to a different aspect ratio instead of using DSR (1920 x 1080).Since I put a lot of time (months) into making this project is there anyway to: 1) change the aspect ratio so all files match 16:9? (interpret footage doesn't seem to work)  2) Copy my clips into a new project where I can start with a new editing preset and correct the aspect ratio?Sorry, If I'm not entirely clear. I just upgraded to PE15 from PE13 on a Windows 10 OS. The upgrade was to get a better H.264 export with more options.In PE13 I was able to create an H.264 AVC video in an Quicktime .mov file. The new PE15 version creates two files Test.m4v and Test.wav. I would have expected it to generate 1 file, not 2 files. The m4v file is not recognized when attempting to play it back in Windows media viewer or VLC. The file size is also too small to be a video file.PE15 was able to create an mp4 file using the "H.264" preset which was playable. But use of the "H,264 AVCHD" preset does not generate a working video. I also used the Quicktime format   Export->Devices->Custom->Format Quicktime and setting video codec to H.264. This generated a workable .mov file but it has the same issues as with version PE13. The H.264 encoder does not have all the control options that are required.The failing export is done using PE15 Export->Devices->Custom->Format H.264 AVCHDPremiere El

I noticed that in many Youtube videos, youtubers have multiple versions of themselves on screen in the same shot. How are they doing that? Is there some way to do this in premiere elements?For example:Similar examples exist with the two people closer, or in front of one another. So, how does this work? Thanks for the help!

Burning my movies with menu's on a LG blu-ray burner on my Macbook Pro goes perfect until 98% of step 5.Then the notification "not enough space" is in the left bottom side and everything stops.I've clicked "fit to disc size" otherwise it won't start the burn process at all.So I don't know what's wrong, please advise!Kind regards,Jorge Wolters

I'm using PE14 to convert MOV files (from iPhones) to M2TS files (generated by Panasonic video cameras and edited by HD Writer AE 3.0 supplied with the camera). I have tried a few options but the files created by PE14 will not open in HDAE3. I have tried M2T - H.264 option in PE14 "Export and Share". The files created don't have the .m2ts extension. Renaming the files to that extension did not work. By the way, the codec info in VLC media player for valid M2TS files from my Panasonic is as follows: Video: H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (h264) 1920 x 1090 59.94 fps Planar 4:2:0 YUV Audio: A25 Audio (AC3) (a52) 48000 Hz 384 kb/s How do I convert Quicktime MOV to the above format?

When i start the audio mixer to control the Loudness the program doesn´t work any longer. I have more then 1000 clips in the project. Is this too much??

I backed up my videos and am now using an external hard drive for storage and moved all my stuff to that drive. How can I make the video automatically find all the files in that location?

Struggling with this software right out of the gate.  I am in Organizer on the Media tab.  I have my folder structure on the left set up as "View as Tree".  I am going down my tree, looking at media and when I find a good video, I want to add to a Album I have created so when I have all my files picked, I can go create a movie.  You would think I could just right click on a media file and select "Add to Album", but I don't see any option to do that. I can't drag the file to the Album because I am in Folder view, looking at media for god's sake.  That's what you do in Folder view, right?  In an organized way, you look in your files and look for media.So I am lost as to how you can easily sift through hundreds of media files to find your material to make a movie with this software...Ok, that's my rant.  Are there any moderators present.  I am happy to be called ignorant!
