i want to slow my preview down for fine adjustments - Help says to do this: To control the speed of the preview, drag the shuttle slider to the right.  Where is the shuttle slider? ThanksHelen

 I am really struggling with having to use Premiere Elements 2025.  I was very familiar with 2012.Today I wanted to insert a simple title slide.  I did not want the text scrolling.  I just wanted it to sit on a simple black background.  No matter what I did i could not manage this.can you please help?

I now need to combine three video files.  Is this possible?  How do I export them so that I can add them to my "media" and thus use them in another piece?  I know how to export files to make them viewable on computers or the internet etc.  But I need to import one PE file into another PE file.thanksHelen

I have 20 minutes of video footage.  I am inserting segments (5) of that into a Powerpoint presentation.  My current workflow is as follows: i already have the footage split into segments.I then save the file 5 times, called segment 1, segment 2 etcI then go into each copy and delete the segments not requiredi then export these files to MP3 or MPEG4and insert them into the PowerpointI feel like this workflow is clunky.any  suggestions?ThanksHelen  

Hello everyone, I recently purchased a month subscription to Envato, thinking I could use some their effects with Premiere Elements.  I'm pretty sure I messed up doing that, because I don't think their files will work.   I'm looking for a place where I can download animated title overlays for my videos.  I want to be able to edit an overlay and use it as a title for my son's basketball highlight videos.  I want the title to appear on top of the video without blocking out the video, if that makes sense.  Any ideas?

I'm having an issue with Premiere Elements 2020 where all the "Style" options when editing text just vanished. In case it helps, this happened right after a Windows 11 update, so there's a chance it might not even be an Adobe problem. Any way I can fix this?

i was very familiar with Premiere elements 12 and had created hundreds of movie presentations over the years.  i had to change my computer so downloaded latest version of Premiere Elements. 2025.  I am really struggling with this.  Why did it have to change so much?!

I just purchased the 2026 versions of Adobe Photoshop/Premiere Elements, and the prior version of Premiere Elements I used had an option in "Add Media" for Webcam, using that to film footage directly into the program. However, unlike said old version (2023 for those curious), which had 6 options for adding media including the Webcam, 2026 is only showing 2: Elements Organizer and Files and folders. Is there a reason Webcam isn't showing up there? Is it not still part of the software?

Just purchased Adobe Premier Elements 2022 and as my first project I need to rotate a clip shot by an iPhone in portrait mode, however video is supposed to be landscape. All I have to do is rotate it 90 degrees. This is something I used to easily do with Premier Elements 2018, however now it rotates the video just fine but maintains the canvas in portrait mode. What changed, how can I rotate both the video and the clip?

:yourc system neess to be configured to import HEVC or HEIF type of media:I am trying to add files to my project, which i have done using the same recording equipment numerous times. I have never had that message before. its allowing me to add some files but not others. i do have the HEVC ext on my PC. They were all recorded on an DJI Action 4 video recorder. Any advise or help would be appreciated.

When I export to computer the video is fine but I lose the music. I can hear the music in the timeline/workspace. Working with PE 2025. Anyone?

What do people think about the new 2026 version and only been able to use it for three years with their 3 year lience now?

Hello!I've started my trial for Adobe Premiere Elements 2026 today because I wanted to try out the Lumetri color feature. However, I searched through the forum, all over google and everything tells me I should locate the workspaces button in the top right, or the color button in the top bar.   Both are missing entirely, I have searched all over the software for an entire hour, watched videos and screenshots but I can NOT find it. Can somebody please help me? I'm using Windows 11.   Title and text edited by mod: changed Premiere Pro to Premiere Elements.

I have created a number of titles in project 1 that i now wish to use in Project 2, 3 ,4 etc..How to I export these then reimport them. Eveything I see on the web DOES NOT WORK as selecting the titles in project Assets then selecting file export IS NOT AN OPTION in Premiere 2025 ?Please can someone help with this it will save so much time.. Hi Further to my post about white space, i now have another similar issue, but isn't resolvable with the prior fix that @Steve Grisetti resolved. There are small gaps between videos and it appears that audio timeline and video timeline are not, however im unable to use the dragger to align them... when i drag one, it drags the other in unison. See screenshots attached. Thanks! 

I have Premiere Elements 14 installed and activated on my old computer with Windows 10. Got a new computer (Win 11) and installed it. It installed and actually run but I get the PX Engine error and an activation error. And it won't run on my old computer now either- also an activation error.  Spent 30 minutes online with agent who told me it won't run with Win 11.  But I've seen others claim to install and run it successfully via admin. She had me uninstall it on both machines and reinstall but it won't work on either now. Anyone know if there is a PX Engine driver update? I can't find anything about that.   

Hi I'm on 2024 version.... I have 2 projects going on, and now i want to merge some video segments from one to the other... Can anyone suggest a way to do this? If i was able to open both projects at the same time, i asusme i could copy and paste, but i also understand this is not possible in 2024 version to open 2 projects at same time. Many thanks

Hello from Belgium, I'm using PE for over a decade with great satisfaction until the 2022 version ( Latest native Intel version ) on my I7 mac Mini.As my Intel Mac is now obsolete i have invested in a Mac Studio with M4 Max.While Adobe states compatibility with M1 or above chips, current ( up to 2 weeks ago ) user feedback suggests that optimization for the  M4 Max chip in Premiere Pro (the professional version) is still a developing area.So , my question is : What about PE 2026 ? Is optimization of Premiere Elements 2026 for Mac Studio M4 Max still a work in progress for Adobe or not ? if yes, please state how long will be the wait ? M5 chips are to be announced soon !Kind regards, Serge

Hi there Another Q that im not sure is possible.... I have a short video, i want to keep the audio, but replace the visual element of it with a photo - is this possible? As example... using attached image...2 is the existing visual3 is the existing audio1 is an image i would like to paste over the visual whilst keeping the audio. Noting im on 2024. Many thanks!  

Here's a brief overview of some of the highlights in the latest release of Premiere Elements.. 

For a while I was able to download YT vids, bring them into PE 2022, and extract the tiny section I needed for support in my videos - no problem. Then suddenly, "Add Media" yielded only an audio file in my "Project Assets." From my own research, I have learned it has to do with file format? Or CODEC? Or "dot-extention" something? Explanations as written seem like gibberish to a 70 y/o musician with limited PC skills. Could someone please explain this fix like you're telling it to your grandfather? Who you like? Who's a good guy? You will be so appreciated. (And a hero.)  Thank you.
