Here’s all that’s new and exciting in the Aug 2022 Fresco update. FREE TRANSFORM TOOL  (iPad, iPhone, and Windows)  Skew, Distort and Perspective — Familiar Photoshop tools for skew, distort and perspective are now available in Fresco. Free transform tools make it easy to adjust your artwork after drawing. Access them via the Transform tool.             VECTOR OUTLINE BRUSHES (iPad, iPhone and Windows)  Up your hand-lettering game with new vector brush capabilities that allow you to create hollow or ‘outline’ brushes. You can increase/decrease the size of the interior via the Width ratio slider available in Shape dynamics—>Outline. You can combine outline brush capabilities with other controls like jitter, taper, and tilt to create completely unique appearances. We’ve included a new set of default Outline brushes to help get you started.       LARGER VECTOR BRUSHES (iPad, iPhone & Windows)  Express yourself more easily since we’ve increased the maximum size of vector brushes from 120 to 500.                 KYLE'S SUMMER BRUSHES (iPad, iPhone, and Windows)  This Summer brush set is truly a smorgasbord of goodies: an excellent grainy airbrush, two totally unique inkers, new watercolors, a pixelated blender tool, gridding brushes, new paints, and much more. Adobe Acrobat and Reader - August 2022 updates are Live!!   We are happy to announce that the latest Acrobat and Reader Continuous & Classic Tracks release on August 9, 2022, has left the buildings! We are now LIVE.   What's in the update? The latest update of Acrobat & Reader contains: Bug Fixes. Performance & Stability Improvements.   Adobe recommends installing the Acrobat and Reader updates for Windows & Mac "Continuous 22.002.20191, Classic 2020 version 20.005.30381, & Classic 2017 version 17.012.30262" as soon as possible.   Note: Adobe is rolling out this release incrementally. To experience the new features immediately, update your Acrobat—on the Help menu, click Check for updates and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update process.     Bug Fixes:   Adobe Sign: An invalid email error is shown as the company name is picked along with the email address.   Fill and Sign: Fixing crashers in Fill and Sign when 3rd party plugins are installed.   Organize Pages: Getting error "Incorrect call for setting the app. The workflow will break here" While organizing Pages using Acrobat July release. Hold Shift no longer allows you to select multiple page thumbnails while scrolling through the document.   Printing: The application gets re-launched back after closing when a file is printed using context-menu.   Security-Signature: Adobe Acrobat Customization Wizard will now load the selected address book of trusted certificates on the installation of Adobe Acrobat.   How to install Updates? Install updates from the Help menu of Acrobat/ Reader DC. Continue reading...   ❶ Multiple Content Tabs You now have the capability of opening 2 or more content panels (2 or more folders). This will help to increase content velocity by making it easy for you to copy/paste content between folders or can be used for comparing files across folders, etc. You can create new content panels by clicking on the '+' sign next to the name of the panel (at the top) which is currently active or by selecting the option for a New content panel from the File menu and Hamburger menu. Note: There will be only one Content Panel active at a given time (denoted by a blue button next to the name of the content panel). All the other Bridge panels (Path bar, Filter panel, preview panel, metadata panels) will reflect the details of the assets being managed in the active content panel.                        The active Content Panels folder will be preserved when you move from one workspace to another. If you dont want it to be sticky, you can disable it by Checking the 'Ignore the active folder while switching workspaces' option from the Preference panel / Content section.      ❷ User-defined fractional scaling You can now configure the UI scaling preferences in Bridge to uniformly scale the interface based your screen's resolution. Previously, the interface could only be set as Auto, at 100% or 200%. Now, you have the flexibility to scale the interface along with the text. You can make changes to the UI scaling by going to the Preferences of Bridge, then Interface.                             ❸ Undock panels  - Customize the application Interface You can now undock and dock any panel, move them into or out of groups and undock them such that they float above the application window. With this capability, you can customize the Application UI according to your workflow needs. To undock a panel, simply click and drag panel from it top edge or use the option to Undock the panel from the menu.                             ❹ Multi-monitor setup To increase the available screen space, you can now use Bridge on multiple monitors very effectively. When working with multiple monitors, the application window appears on one monitor, and you can place floating windows on the second monitor (by undocking a panel and dragging it to the second monitor). Note: Monitor configurations are stored in the workspace.     ❺ New IPTC fields Support for newly added IPTC fields in the Metadata Panel and File Info dialog [Namingly; Alt Text (Accessibility), Extended Description (Accessibility) & Event Identifier]     ❻ Workspace management Bridge now provides a separate dialog to change the order in which workspaces are displayed or also control which workspaces appear in the overflow menu or even hide a workspace so that it is not displayed in the Workspaces menu. To edit the workspace as per your preference, go to the Window menu, then Workspace and select Edit Workspace.                             ❼ Make 'Show items from Subfolders' sticky Show items from Subfolders in the Content Tab can now be made to 'show always'.                         This is an improvement from previous versions of Bridge: You now have “Always Show Items from Subfolders” option in context menu of Content Tab. Enabling this option would lead to that instance of context tab to now always read and show all the assets from the subfolders. Increased visibility: In the previous version of Bridge, when you displayed the items from subfolder, visually it was not very clear in the UI that we are displaying contents of the subfolders. Now, we have added a Hanger option in Content Panel which will show a String (Showing Items From Subfolders “Folder Name”) Now for more visibility pathbar will show “(FolderName (Subfolders)” instead of Ellipses“…” string. Cancel button “X” will be visible in Hanger Option of Content Tab.     ❽ File Type association discoverability & changes We rebuilt the File Type Associations feature and addressed many existing customer pain points around discoverability, search, and many more. Search : We added a new search option in the File Type Association dialog. This enables you to quickly jump to the extension or application in the list that you're looking for. Easy help : File Type Associations list now supports Selection, tool tips, and checkmark for selected items in the popup. Also, we added a Learn More Link for further guidance. Quick context menu action : Ability to directly open File Type Associations section of Preference dialog with the extension selected. We have now added the Browse option in context menu to directly open file in new application. Change associations in context of the workflow: While Browsing for applications (to open the asset) we have now provided an option for you to make the association permanent.                       IMPORTANT NOTE: This works for only the file types that is listed in the FTA dialog. Migration of File Type Associations: We now also migrate the User Preferences from older versions.   Hidden features: Hover the mouse over any panel and Hit the Tilde (~) key to expand and collapse the Panel which is below the Cursor. Also select any panel and hit the back quote key (`) to expand and collapse the selected Panel. Note: Tab key is reserved for keyboard navigation accessibility features.     Please note that some features are not available in the this first Beta build. The team is working on them and it should be available in the subsequent Beta builds.  Bridge SDK based scripting is still under development, so user scripts may not function correctly, please bear with us Custom workspaces created in the Released version of the Product will NOT migrate to this Beta build. Some of the Keyboard shortcuts will not work in this build Team is working on improving the performance of the build. Publish panel is not yet implemented. Publish to Adobe Stock and Adobe Portfolio is not available as of now. We are working on fixing some intermittent hangs related to specific system configuration    

We are excited to announce the first of many releases of the Bridge beta! For more info on what a beta is and how you can participate, see Adobe Creative Cloud Beta FAQ. For information about new features available in the beta version, see What's new in the Bridge beta.   How do I install the Bridge beta? To install the Beta, visit the Beta apps tab of the Creative Cloud desktop app and select Install next to Bridge (Beta).     Note: The Beta release will be done incrementally. If you do not see the Bridge Beta in the Creative Cloud desktop app and wish to check it out, you can go to the Hamburger menu on the top left of the Creative Cloud app, then the Help menu and click on Check for Updates.                                       If you still do not see it, please wait a couple of days while we release the Beta to all the users.   How can I provide feedback on my Bridge beta experience? Here in the Bridge community, you can either search for any thread and add your comment to it or create a thread yourself by the Post to community option available on the top right.   How does the Bridge community work? To learn how you can search or post to the Bridge community, please check out this post. Since the Bridge community is used for both the Beta and the public release, when creating a post, make sure you select the new Beta topic before posting. If you come across a post that's a feature request which you would also like us to implement or a bug that you're also experiencing, you can open the thread related to it and add your vote by liking the post and commenting on it.   Should I use the Bridge beta if I'm on a deadline? Generally, we recommend against using beta software if you are on a project with a deadline. Beta software can have versions of features that are not yet complete, and it's possible that you may encounter bugs or stability issues.   Of course, if you run into any bugs or stability issues with the Bridge beta, please let us know here in the community!

You asked and we listened! Coming to beta this week are two new features in Media Encoder: the ability to scale video and to rotate video. Related, we've also added a feature to flip the output width and height. This makes matching the output to a rotated clip a one-button-click.    You gave us the idea to do this and now we'd love to get your feedback on the new feature before it's released. Bug: This conversation type empowers you to be our helping hand and report software bugs to our product teams. However, there is a fine line between Discussion & Bug conversation types. A bug is an error, flaw, or fault in an application or system that causes it to produce an incorrect or unexpected result. If you experience this type of scenario, please report it! The best way to do this is to tell us what steps - the more precise the better - to duplicate the problem you're seeing. If you're unsure, then use the Discussion conversation type and work with the Adobe staff & ACP's to determine whether the problem you're seeing is a bug or a product issue that can be resolved by some troubleshooting. Note: Not all unexpected/incorrect outcomes are considered software bugs. Substance 3D Designer 12.2 brings native support of Apple silicon machines (M1), some improvements for Substance model graphs and other small updates. Find below all the details concerning this new version.  Release date: July 19th, 2022     Major features Native support for Apple silicon (M1) chips The 12.2 version of Designer is the first one with the full native support of new Apple machines based on M1 chip. Although Designer could run technically on Apple Silicon devices previously, the native support will bring you a faster and more efficient experience. As you can see on the image below, computation are up to two times faster with this new version on these machines. Improvements for Substance model graphs Tooltips on nodes It is not always possible to explain what a node is doing with just an icon and a title, that is why we have now a tooltip with a full description of the node when you are in the Library or in the Graph View. It will help you to find the node you are looking for or to better understand what are its capabilities.     Shortcuts for node creationTo speed up the creation of your most used nodes, you can now define your own shortcuts in the Preferences, like for the other types of graphs.   Preview node from the node contextual menuIn our latest release, we added the possibility to preview a node in the 3D View thanks to a keyboard shortcut (SHIFT + Click on a node). This feature is now also available from the node contextual menu in order to make it more discoverable.   Search based on node compatibility When you are looking for a node from the node menu (accessible by pressing Spacebar in the Graph View), nodes are now correctly filtered in order to show only the ones who are compatible with the one currently selected in the graph. It helps you to find quickly the node you are looking for.  Miscellaneous 2D View improvementsWhere it was possible in previous versions to view the graph's outputs in the 3D View through the Substance compositing graph's contextual menu, it was not possible to view a graph output in the 2D View. This option has now been added to this menu, with a submenu listing all the graph outputs to be displayed in the 2D View. The "View outputs" button in the 2D View toolbar has also been updated with a down arrow and a tooltip in order to make its behaviour clearer. And finally, the option "Automatic display graph outputs when loading a graph" in the Preferences has been split into two separate settings – for the 2D View and 3D View respectively – in order to let you control which view should be opened and populated automatically when you load a graph.   CLO TemplateIn order to improve the interoperability with CLO software, we added a new dedicated template. It will automatically add to your graph all the metadata required to correctly import your material in CLO.      VFX Reference Platform requirementsEvery year, the VFX Reference Platform publishes a list of tools and libraries versions to be used in every software for the VFX industry to minimise incompatibilities between software. Some of the Pantone Color Books that are pre-loaded in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop will be phased-out from future software updates starting in August 2022. Adobe Acrobat and Reader - July 2022 updates are Live!!   We are happy to announce that the latest Acrobat and Reader Continuous & Classic Tracks release on July 12, 2022, has left the buildings! We are now LIVE.   What's in the update? The latest update of Acrobat & Reader contains: Bug Fixes. Performance & Stability Improvements.   Adobe recommends installing the Acrobat and Reader updates for Windows & Mac "Continuous 22.001.20169, Classic 2020 version 20.005.30362, & Classic 2017 version17.012.30249" as soon as possible.   Note: Adobe is rolling out this release incrementally. To experience the new features immediately, update your Acrobat—on the Help menu, click Check for updates and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update process.     Bug Fixes:   Distiller:             Adobe Distiller stopped working after the PDF had been converted using a Reporting Server.   Viewer:             File > Save As does not offer other file format options in saving as type drop-down.   How to install Updates? Install updates from the Help menu of Acrobat/ Reader DC. 下記に該当する端末にて、Office製品（Word,Excel,PowerPoint）を起動する際に「実行時エラー53」というエラーが発生する場合がございます。 Acrobat DC を使用中の端末 Acrobat DC を使用したことのある端末（※既にアンインストール済みの場合を含む） 【原因】 Acrobatのアンインストール後も、Acrobatの一部の機能であるアドイン（ExcelやWordへ機能を追加するプログラム）が残ってしまっていることが原因と考えられます。 ファイルを開いた際に、Acrobatのアプリケーションに関わっているファイルが見つからないため、「ファイルが見つかりません」などのエラーメッセージが表示されます。     エラーが表示された場合、以下対処をお試しください。 Finderを起動します。   リンゴマークの5つ隣にある、「移動」というタブを選択します。     キーボード内の「Option」というキーを長押ししながら、ホームの下に表示される「ライブラリ」を選択します。（1～3の手順は Mac OS でユーザーライブラリフォルダーを表示できない で確認出来ます ） ライブラリフォルダが表示された後、次の順番でフォルダを開いていきます。「Group Containers」⇒「UBF8T346G9.Office」⇒「User Content」⇒「Start up」 Start up フォルダが表示された後、以下の３ファイルをそれぞれ削除します。  ・「Word」フォルダ内、「linkCreation.dotm」のファイル  ・「Excel」フォルダ内、「SaveAdobePDF.xlam」のファイル  ・「PowerPoint」フォルダ内、「SaveAdobePDF.ppam」のファイル Office製品を再度起動し、実行時エラー53 が再発生しないことをご確認ください。※もしこちらで解決されない場合、大変恐れ入りますが Office 製品の入れ直しをご検討ください。具体的な手順については Microsoft にお問い合わせください。注意：対処後に Acrobat DC を続けてご使用頂く場合、削除したファイルを再作成するためAcrobat DC を入れなおしていただく 必要がございます。以下ページの手順に従ってください。 Acrobat のアンインストールと再インストールの方法
