Subject: Proposal for New Adobe Feature: Transcription & Text-to-Video Integration Dear Adobe Team, My name is Antonio, and I am a documentary filmmaker who regularly uses Adobe's Frame.io in my workflow. I’m reaching out to propose a new feature or plugin that could greatly enhance the filmmaking process: a Transcription and Text-to-Video Tool.. This tool could allow users to generate accurate transcripts from video footage, and then use the text to identify, tag, or even create video sequences directly from the script inside Frame.io. Such functionality would be particularly useful for managing interviews, narrative alignment, and editing processes in documentary filmmaking. Mod note: Your title was changed for search purposes. Additionally, integrating this feature as a plugin extension that works seamlessly with screenwriting software like Celtx would add incredible value. Filmmakers could directly connect their scripts to video footage, creatin
My guy, the most stable release I ever had was CS3. worked like a charm, no memory leaks, fast as F1, and I could render 2K, minute long comps in minutes in a $400 high school computer lab. Multi-frame rendering did reduce render times, and it scaled well with cores, which is why people loved it.... then they took it away... and several years later they gave it back... and it wasn't as scalable, and even puget benchmark had a note on that, under why they no longer recommend high core counts. https://www.pugetsystems.com/solutions/video-editing-workstations/adobe-after-effects/hardware-recommendations/ for those who don't want to follow a link:"After Effects used to make great use of high core count systems (including dual Xeon) but starting with AE CC 2015 most tasks no longer benefit from having a high number of CPU cores. This is largely due to the fact that Adobe removed the “render multiple frames simultaneously” feature in part due to the fact that they are starting to integrate G
I'm with you. I'm no noob. I've been editing for 20 years, the last 4 on PPro. It's a truly horrible, buggy, unstable, unreliable program. AVID has it's problems, but it had always hummed like a race-car for me. Unfortunately due to work circumstances, I have to use PPro. It is shortening my life and thinning my hair.
I fail to understand the logic behind people suggesting buying new hardware to solve a problem the software developers are overlooking. Accessibility is the core of any product and design work. We do this as editors and designers so that the viewers are able to appreciate the work we produce with ease, Adobe should have done the same for its editors years ago. I believe no one with proper skills left at Adobe to know what even accesibility is meant to be. Their programmers and sales team should read their own courses on the topic and try to educatet hemselves on the topic before trying to 'AI' everything. I have an idea, if people at Adobe think that adding AI to their crippled programs will increase their sales, maybe they can let the AI help them with accessibility. Oh wait wait, let me help with that for you since the DEVs are probably busy meeting the unrealistic requirements of the sales dept. "Accessibility in software development refers t
Why are we being asked to create a feature request for something that has been a part of the software for many years now? A better feature request would be for Adobe to hire professionals, who work in creative production, to test their software releases. Anyone who uses the software in the 'wild' would have caught this and pointed it out very early on. We're all paying hard earned money for this software so please correctly beta test the apps before they release to those of us who use it professionally. Downgrading now until this is resolved. Mod note. Title was added. Post was branched and moved here.
Hello, I hope you can assist me. I am very passionate about AI and would love to gain access to your Generate Video tool. I’m currently on the waiting list, but the wait has been quite long for me. Could you possibly grant me access now? I would greatly appreciate your help. I apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you so much in advance!
Hi everbody!Tomorrow, we're gonna record a video in the room that I attached in the 2 Video files. What do you think which background looks better? The Windows or the "X" (One of our company logo's. We're not Twitter though haha) one? Also, do you guys have any tips if I can make it so the light of the softbox doesn't mirror in the glass??The only thing I could put in front of the glasses would be a Flipchart.Thank you so much!~Alex
I just wrapped up my first feature documentary, "Hemp Disconnected," and I'm trying to burn it onto a DVD. Man, have I been out of the loop on all this. I think I'll have to call my next documentary "DVDs Discontinued" and just rant on for 3 hours about how much of a pain in the *** it is to encode a DVD nowadays. After spending hours looking for a workaround on my Macbook M1 I eventually booted up my laptop from 2008 and ran a copy of CS5 Encore on there, and that has been the closest I have gotten to encoding a DVD. Why is it so exceedingly difficult to find a way to burn a DVD on today's Macs? I have an external DVD drive, and I understand that Mac got rid of the DVD drives in their laptops but this is just ridiculous. Is there a way to run Encore CS5 on my new Mac? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Cancelled my Adobe subscription this morning. I did it.
I am getting an error that says "this serial number is already in use by the maximum allowed computers...It says I need to deactivate another computer within 30 days to use this product." I had to re-install Premiere Pro CS6, due to a hard drive error. I no longer have access to the old hard drive, therefore I am unable to deactivate. Is there another way to deactivate the old activation?
This is driving me insane!
I downloaded the app, and it seems to have fewer features than CapCut 😕😕 Mod note: The title and text were changed slightly. Moved from the Rush forum.
Now that Adobe has indicated Rush is being discontinued with the end of life for cloud sync and no longer supporting new phones (pixel 4 from 2019 was the last supported Android pixel that's been supported) I am looking for a phone video editor that's ad free and ideally syncs to desktop so the final edit can be done on a computer. All the other android video editors are packed with ADs, or are unstable or lack features. I really miss Rush as it was stable, ad free, synced with desktop. I am not aware of any option that compares to what we had with Rush before. Is there any good alternatives?
My yearly sub ends in a month. Currently looking at alternatives. I think in done with adobe.
Hello all, I hope me reaching out is okay but when I was looking at the terms of service I noticed that there was a section called "6. User Conduct", and in this section there is a rule that says one can not "...share or generate any Content or engage in behavior that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, obscene, violent, abusive, tortious, defamatory, libelous, vulgar, lewd, invasive of another’s privacy, hateful, or otherwise objectionable;" I bring all of this up as, with this in place, how can any violent movies exist? Wouldn't this rule prevent anyone from making something like that? or is it just refering to real life crimes? I know this question is likely dumb but I am very curious. Thank you for your time.
At this point it feels like the only thing that will be effective is mass cancellation of subscriptions (once the DOJ makes the remove the cancellation fee). If you can downgrade your plan in the meantime do that. I've given up on Premiere Pro. Davinci Resovle and Final Cut get the job done just as well, if not better (less crashes).
Hey all. Even though I changed my core folder of my projects, temp folders, cache, creative cloud, and so on...Every time I start Premiere Pro on my Mac, a new folder in Documents folder is made: iCloud Drive\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\24.0\Profile-user.name\etc...iCloud Drive\Documents\Adobe\Lumetri\9.0\...iCloud Drive\Documents\Adobe\Adobe Media Encoder\24.0\Presets...iCloud Drive\Documents\Adobe\Common\Assets... Any idea as to how to prevent entirety of Adobe suite from using Documents folder? Clearly since I am using Documents folder for iCloud I don't want Adobe to make any folders there whatsoever. Thank you!

bane of my existence!
Hi, Technology rang me the other day while sitting in my literary dream world. Recently, I've been captivated by the idea of transforming my latest novel into a web series for social media. The technology I was using the other day seemed to share my enthusiasm, suggesting it could be a fantastic way to bring my story to life in a new and interactive format. I've previously made a couple of short films with a full crew of editors, cameramen, and actors. Now that AI is available, I want to explore the possibilities. I am taking this community's advice. Thank you for reading this far. QUESTIONS: 1. What program is user-friendly for a tech-challenged person? 2.. one that creates images based on the text I input. 3. one that I can imput audio as narrator. 4. Is there classes you can recommend?
Why does Adobe Premiere Rush lack many important features and effects that are available in most applications? You are a large and experienced company in the field of design and video, and always ahead of the curve with new things. Why is this app so basic and simple, with no advanced transitions, effects, or animations? Isn't it logical that an app like (Cupcat) and many others are better than Premiere Rush? I browsed Cupcat today and found it to be more professional, beautiful, and has many more tools. Why is there neglect and disregard, and the delay in updating it? Mod note: The Post was moved. The title was changed.
This update has introduced a lot of usability headaches for my team. The FX badge changes are nice in theory, but it changes something that has been a long-running feature in premiere. No longer can you tell what kind of effect has been added to a clip by simply glancing at the color of the FX badge, now it's either on or off and the info is gone. Additionally, the FX badge now is a button which causes issues with smaller clips since any click on the badge takes you to the effect controls menu even if you are clicking and dragging. I already have a small area to click on for smaller clips due to the handle shortcuts at the edge of each clip, so now there's even less space. Alternatively you can turn off the badges, but now I can't see what clips have effects, so what's the point? For some reason that isn't documented on here, the sizing of the video and audio tracks was changed. By default they're very large, almost twice as large as default before. Sizing them down makes them s
@ADOBE - It's small things like this that add up across all of your programs that I use - Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects - they all have massive inconveniences and bugs DESPITE BEING INDUSTRY STANDARD FOR WELL OVER A DECADE - that are driving me closer and closer to dropping the subscription and going to BlackMagic's DaVinci Resolve to replace Premiere and After Effects, and then all the perfectly feesible alternates to Photoshop and Illustrator. These bugs have been adding up and honestly, this dumb little bug might be thing that breaks the camel's back because it disrupts my workflow so absurdly hard. I hasve given you guys a ridiculous amount of money as a solo-DBA. The amount of bugs and issues like this in ALL of your programs is inexcusable for how long you've been in the game.Mod note: Post was branched. A title was added. Please avoid profanity, we have minors reading here.
Since Adobe is very strict in forcing everyone to get a subscription, they will soon find out this is going to backfire badly. I speak with many young people, students and hobby enthusiasts. They are all leaving or have left the Adobe platform in favor of DaVinci. Simply because it's 100% free and legal to own. Schools still try to educate students with the Adobe system but outside the curriculum there is no more love for Premiere. Many professional organisations are leaving the Avid platform now: it's very expensive, their file handling is a nightmare, people don't learn Avid anymore and Avid is completely clumsy for fast online productions with simple effects and different screen ratios. And those professional organisations also skip Adobe premiere as the go-to Avid replacement in favor of DaVinci. As a long time motion designer and Adobe user, I am disappointed to see that even our broadcast station is also moving from Avid straight to DaVinci. I was really hoping for Premiere because
Please don't do that, we don't have time for these errors... We prefer a Premiere that works, rather than a cool one with AI, that crashes (having to go back to the previous one again) Mod note: The title was changed to reflect your issue.
