Hi,we are currently having problems with displaying pdfs in SAP. Indeed some users could not open a document twice in SAP, without having a pop-up 0:521 which indicates that reader is already in progress. We noticed that this problem did not occur for users who had the 32bit version. However, we have seen that the 32-bit version has not been maintained since January 2023. Everyone is discarding on the SAP and Opentext side (because it is in an Opentext transaction that we encounter this problem). And adobe side difficult to have support. Have you encountered this problem before? if so, were you able to fix it?
I have a paid subscription that includes Adobe Acrobat DC Pro. I am on the desktop app and do not have access to the "Prepare Form" tool. Overall, these are the only tools I have: How do I fix this and get access to the other tools?
I was emailed a pdf. The print is so small you need a magnifying glass to read it. How can I make this document larger so I can print and read?
I'm making a form that needs to pass the accessibility check in Acrobat. I've created a form in InDesign. The entire form has been created the same exact way. For some reason, only the top half of the form passes, but the lower half of form fields has an error that says, "Tagged form fields - Failed." Does anyone know what the potential issue could be? And how I can fix it in InDeisgn? This form changes regularly, so I'd like to have everything working correctly from InDesign and just export it as an interactive PDF. I've done many of these forms before but this is the first time I'm running into this issue.
Not much to write about this bug / glitch that happens when I try to set a default zoom percent. The bug is that if you set it to any percentage, the program has a space after the "%" and the programmers made a mistake where it only accepts the percentage zoom if it is right next to the number, example, it works if you set "100% vs doesn't work if the setting is "100 %", but the thing is, this is the predefined selections in the menu that was coded wrong. This is when I try to select a default zoom level, notice the default numbers with their percentage next to it. This is what happens when I select for example 100 % and click ok. But, if I happen to remove the space between the 100 and %, it accepts it. Clearly a developer/programmer bug. This is the version that I am experiencing this in:
I know how to activate the read out loud on the program Adobe Acrobat Reader. But it only does read out loud the page I'm at only. And does not highlight the word or sentence that is reading to me. I currently work at a University in the United States at a Disability Center, and some of the students have a hard time following alone and would really help them having their school books in alternate PDF format that they can use on their personal devices like tablets, computers, phones, etc. Few months ago before the recent update with the Adobe Acrobat Reader I/students was able to highlight what they want read and it would highlight what the software is reading for easy read alone. Is there a way we can have that back? This would help with people who can read their school books/other documents easier!!
Bovendien is men bij Adobe zeer onbereikbaar. Ik zie maar 1 oplssing en dat is de maandelijke betaling via credietkaart stop te zetten. Heeft iemand ervaring hiermee?Alvast bedankt.
Please help, I am stuck on this weird issue.I've some script which works perfectly on Adobe Reader (both windows & mac). However, for some reason on iPad (in Adobe reader app), it executes only first line of code and then no response. I am sure it's not code issue, 'cos I've tried different codes and even same code like alert. So, basically If I put following in document open script, it will alert only once.app.alert("Image Hidden Start - 1");app.alert("Image Hidden Start -> 2"); Also, tried putting the same code in button on PDF and same behaviour. Please help if somebody has any idea on how to solve this issue or if I need to do this differently. All I need to do is make document read only if an expiry date is passed and alert the user.
I opened a pdf file in Adobe Reader to edit it but it does not respond. I tried to troubleshoot and updated the program but it has not changed anything. What should I do?
hi
Hello. Perhaps someone encountered a problem when the Cyrillic alphabet is almost not displayed, and the numbers floated on the page? I checked the files in Google Chrome, they open correctly (screenshot 3). Not so with one file. Only reinstallation helps. Who knows other solutions?
I try to open a PDF to view, and I am asked to sign in. I sign in. PDF will not open, tells me I need to sign in on my browser. I click to sign in through the app, it says I'm signed in on the browser. AND CLOSES THE PDF!!! This application is trash and does not work.
I have window 10 with latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader and it is very slow to open PDF docs.I need help with this please.
Hi, we are currently signing PDF documents with ECDSA signatures through custom sofware (= that makes use of iText). When I open a signed document on a 'consumer' version of Adobe Reader all signatures are valid. When I open the same document on an 'enterprise' version of Adobe Reader the signature is invalid (= the document has been altered). Documents signed with RSA do not have issues. We finally found the registry setting that is causing this: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\Security\bEnableCryptoComplyLibrary. When it is set to 0 on an 'enterprise' system, there there is no issue. I did a search on that bEnableCryptoComplyLibrary setting but was not able to find any information about it. Can anyone help me with this? What is the implication of disabling/enabling it? Thank you
I created my digital ID using Adobe Reader and it was stored in Window's trusted location (in 'Personal' folder). I can sign a PDF form, sent to me from a third pary, by using Adobe Reader. My digital ID with date and time is printed in the designated box when I sign my digital ID by using my private password. But when I attach the signed form/document to an email to that third party, they inform that they can't verify my digital signature. My question: Is it possible to digitally sign a PDF document by using Adobe Reader?Your response would be much appreciated. Regards.Sayeed Hassan
Hello together, we do have an operating manual and in this documents there are some links to other pdf-files in other folder. By clicking the link, the link pathway is showing up and it is asked if the linked document is trustful. After the confirming nothing happens anymore. So in the end the linked file is not opening up. All documents are opening up by opening in the normal way. Do you have any idea, what could be the problem. This problem just showed up since 2 months, before it worked well. Best regards,Dominik
Why require a license for distribution? This is ridiculous.
Hi, I am receiving this error message when trying to install Adobe Acrobat DC on my Mac Monterey. As suggested in other threads, I have tried to both reboot and power down my machine but it still will not install. Some help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
A client is making changes to a report where three authors have added their opinions on making changes - these appear ok in the comments pane on the right. In some cases, my client has read threough and decided no chnage is required. However, when she deletes the comment thread for it, it disappears in the pane but the yellow highlight remains on the page itself. She has tried deleting on the page but it won't budge. So it's making it a little messy to know what is needed when highlights appear but no instructions! She has resorted to adding 'No action' on each but it would be useful to know how to clear the comment highlight. I use Acrobat Pro my end but the same issue is there - I can't take off the highlight either. Any help much appreciated.
Hello,I use Adobe X for simple booking forms and i save them as Reader Enabled to allow the user to save the completed form. Suddenly, I can't save any of the forms as Reader Enabled. All worked fine before. Now none of them do, all give the same message "This document could not be Reader Enabled" but no clue why. I've tried reinstalling Adobe, and tried it on a different PC. Nothing seems to make any difference.
