Hi,My company manages Windows 10 devices via Intune and there are different versions of Acrobat Reader DC on the machines, which appears in architectures as well.My plan was to send a script which deletes the previous versions of DC's and install the latest to continue with a clean state. I have downloaded the latest Hungarian build (2022.001.20169) but it is just an online installer. I tracked the process and found where it downloads and installs. It is ~700MB, the biggest file is the 'core.cab'.Is there an offline installer which is smaller or any solution to make it smaller?Thank You,Attila

I was using Outlook desktop until recently.  One thing I do dozens of times a week was download a pdf report from my financial software and once it was displayed in Adobe Reader pressed the email envelope icon inside the pdf and off it went.  I was persuaded to move to Hosted Outlook 365 and while I can receive and send emails I now cannot use the email envelope icon inside a downloaded pdf like I used to be able to do in the desktop version.  It merely asked me what email software I was using, I chose Outlook and all worked well.  Now if I try that Outlook Hosted 365 refuses to send the email and gives me a page of gobbledook.  I have tried asking Microsoft about it and got nowhere.  Help please.

Starting 1/12/2023 when i clicked on the envelope to email a pdf i get "an error occured when sending email".  Now 4 people in our business are getting the message.  Please advise.

I need to know how to change the view when opening up a PDF file.  Everytime I open a file it opens in 200% view. How do I get them to always open in 100% view?

Hello I am working on a PDF form and have a question.I have a long list with several rows.I want to copy a row and give the fields an automatic name when I paste them. If I just copy paste it, the name stays the same. Is it possible to use a script or something similar to automate it?Can you copy paste a field and automatically assign name with counter + 1 ? (like i++)Can you copy paste multiple fields and automatically assign names with counter + 1?(see screenshot)Does something like this work? Would save me a lot of pointless work. 

I have a problem when inserting a PDF file in onenote on my macbook. In the picture below, both files are PDF files but suddenly it stopped showing that the files were PDF files, now they're just blank.I've already been in contact with Microsoft and I've tried everything they've told me to but they then told me to contact Adobe instead since it seems to be the problem.  I've tried inserting the PDFs in different ways and even deleted and downloaded Acrobat reader on my computer again and nothing works. 

Hello, I am a bit confuse what I have installed on my PC. When I open the acrobat reader (named in start menu), I can read in up opened window Adobe Acrobat Reader (not DC). But if I run uninstallation, it says Setup has detected acrobat reader and when I click on uninstalling second choice (choose the product to remove) Acrobat....it says: Setup could not find Adobe Acrobat on this machine. Can anybody explain me why Adobe is doing such a mess with naming? Sorry, it makes me confused.

Hi, WIN11 X64 Home EditionAdobe CC licensed I recently bought a digital signature. The provider mentioned that I need Acrobat Reader in order to sign any PDF documents. Therefore, I recall I installed Reader a few months ago. But I could not find it. I went to the Adobe website and downloaded the Acrobat reader installer and I tried to install it. The installer said that Reader is already installed and asked me whether I want to open it. So, I choose to open. But, instead of Reader, it opens Acrobat DC. Any idea how to fix it? Best regards,Sebastian

I have a windows form developed in Visual C# that displays the content of a PDF file with a reference to AxAcroPDFLib, but my boss doesn't want to see any toolbar nor side menus as shown in my image below here.  Here's what I have coded in my attempts to make this work but it doesn't seem to matter:            axAcroPDF1.src = tmpTicketPdfPreviewPath;            axAcroPDF1.setShowToolbar(false);            axAcroPDF1.setView("FitH");            axAcroPDF1.setLayoutMode("SinglePage");            axAcroPDF1.setPageMode("none");            axAcroPDF1.Show();Please let me know if I'm missing anything here.  If not possible, I'm willing to look into other 3

Running Windows 7 Pro SP1 and Adobe Acrobat Reader failed to open with an error a file missing soI followed on line advice from this site, removed, downloaded and installed it and that install failed as it claims a more recent version etc.So downloaded and ran the cleaner and then downloaded and attempted install again – failed (more recent version) soI read all I could find and it suggested that (a) Windows updates may be missing so I ran update and now Windows update also fails. (I cleared the old updates, tried one by oneetc So I ran a complete system clean and tried again both W7 update and Acrobat Reader failed again.None of the MS advice worked even getting down to CMD level as the update error is unknown (and still there) soI tried another PDF reader which being much simpler DL and installed and works fine so I tried to associate that with .PDF extension to find that the PDF is no longer in the Windows list to be associated!! I am an editor of documents for my company.  Normally I don't need to use notes, just a check mark to ensure a category or item has been entered correctly.  Up until today, I would use a check mark as part of the Sticky Notes and a box would come up on the margins and a check mark would be visible on the document.  Today, I applied a check mark, went to apply a second check mark and the first one disappeared.  The only way to make sure a check mark will stay on the document is to save the document after every Check Mark (Sticky Note) applied, which may happen hundreds of times in a document.  I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro on a subscription (updates regularly automatically).  Please help!!!

We have a user that copied her PDF files to her OneDrive and is not able to open them in OneDrive.If the user copies the files to her local machine - she able to open them without issue. User is currently running Adobe Acrobat Reader 11.0.00 ? We have tried using both Reader DC and Reader XI Thanks.

When I am downloading a dynamic pdf from our website and opening it up in Adobe Reader DC, I am unable to use a digital signature.  When I click on the signature box I get the message: "This document enabled extended features in Adobe Acrobat Reader. The document has been changed since it was created and use of extended features is no longer available. Please contact the author for the original version of this document." However, when I open the same file in Adobe Acrobat Pro X, I find that the extended features are enabled for this pdf. This has only recently become an issue.  We have been using the same pdf files for years without a problem.

Good day,This maybe an easy question to answer, but I could not find it.  How do copy and paste different lines of text from a pdf in acrobat reader?  I do not want to copy the whole document nor is the text adjacent to each other.  The information to copy is scattered throughout the document.   

When I try to save as Reader Enlarged PDF, activate more tools I get an error message "this document could not be enabled for Reader" and it doesn't save.What I can do?

Dear All, I am using Adobe SDK to develop .api. Using sample code - basicplugin project. It can be built successfully. I put .api into adobe plugins directory. Reopen Acrobat and it can show menu. But it will show “invalid plugin detected. Adobe Reader will quit". I don't know if it needs to be enable by using tools Makekeys and singpluing to enable .api.  Thanks,Tony

Just wanted to say. I'm a 23 year old student who is very technically advanced and currently embarking on my masters in marketing. This is the most horrific design software I have ever come across. Impossible to navigate and so many templates aren't available in the UK. It was a massive waste of my time downloading and I would advise anyone to avoid!!! Really could not offer one postive point about it, so disappointed.

I have 2 versions of adobe on my machines. I have an old version of standard and the new Acrobat Reader DC that everyone downloads for free. I open 90% of my files in Reader because it's easier and I like the tabs when viewing multiple pdf's. Sometime in the last 2 weeks though something has completely changed on all my pc's. Acrobat doesn't show in my file list. When I click Open With... Acrobat is nowhere to be found. When I search for the program and select Acrobat to open a file, it instead opens with Reader. It seems the only way to open a file in Acrobat is to open acrobat and find the files. Like I said, this is a completely new situation. I've had both programs installed on several machines for years without issue. So what gives? Why does everything default to the Reader and why can't I find Acrobat in the Open With menu?

Is it possible to disable automatic updates in the Adobe Reader DC? It's not under preferences where it used to be.

Hi, anyone else experiencing this? I had on W10, now W11... I run big 3D Models on my computer, so don't think it's memory. Adobe keeps losing its Main Menu and the Close/Minimise and etc buttons.
