Help...Why is it every time I open something it saves it to my desktop? It saves it then opens it the regular way...How can I stop this? My desktop is getting full of stuff I don't want to keep. Thanks for any help you can supply me with.

After upgrading from 20.013.20074 to 21.001.20135 the Adobe Acrobat Reader reported no match when searching for text that did exist. This behavior persists now after upgrading to 21.001.20138. This is shown in attached image with \Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\Welcome.pdf. Is this a known issue?Any suggestions on how to correct? Thank you!  

Hello, since i've installed the Adobe Acrobat Pro the Quickprint-Function doesn't work any more.The Standard-program for pdf is still Adobe Reader DC and it works fine when you open pdf's. When i now try to quickprint the pdf (from Outlook or directly the pdf) it opens in the Adobe Acrobat Pro in the background even it isn't the standard.But i really need the Adobe Reader to be Standard due to Restrictions on my Terminalserver for several users to use Adobe Acrobat Pro. I tried to reinstall the Adobe Reader, looked for registry-settings espacially for printing (couldn't find any) and i don't get a clue what else i can do.Adobe Reader Version is 2021.001.20138 and Acrobat Version is 2020.001.30020 used on a Windows Server 2016. Thank you

Hello,I have a PDF with digital signatures that was signed with DocuSign. I can validate the signed document and everything looks good when I use https://validator.docusign.com/ However when I open the document with Acrobat Reader DC the signature validation does not succeed, and I'm wondering why. Under the signature I see the following: "Signature is invalid: There are errors in the formatting of information contained in this signature". When I click on validate signature I get the following error message: "Error during signature verification. Error encountered while validating: Internal cryptographic library error. Error Code: 0x2711".Any ideas on how to investigate the exact cause for the error?Thanks.HB

I have a Win 10 Tablet and would like to use my S Pen to take notes in a journal I purchased that opens in Adobe Reader Touch.  Can someone help me figure out how I can do that?  The S Pen currently is a "pointer" and I am unable to "write" to the document. Thanks in advance.

Every time I boot/restart my laptop (running Win 10 Pro, latest version), Adobe Reader starts with the same file.  Here's what I have tried:I went into the regsitry and removed every reference to that file.I removed every copy of the file from the file system.  The only copy remaining is stored in my Outlook .PST file, so it's not visible to the file system.I uninstalled/reinstalled the Reader.Thinking that Creative Cloud might be triggering it at boot time, I stopped CC from loading.I simply tried simply closing the file while in the Reader.I went into the Adobe Cloud and removed every file. I am at a loss as to what to try next.  Does anybody have a suggestion as to what I might try next? --Ernie

I have a problem that the added text comment became grey when I finished editing them.When I pressed on the text, the text are in black. However, when I finished editing the text, they automatically turned into grey. I think it may be related to the transparency issue but I don't know how to set the transparency of text.This problem doesn't show when I use the text comment with a box.

I used three different programs to view & print a PDF formWhen I hover a form field the correct info shows. When I move onto the next field, I get Greek and foreign characters. When I print I get the same slop. Why?

Need help again. I use Adobe Acrobat Reader XI, because it works perfectly for me and still works when I switched to Windows 10. However, starting yesterday Acrobat Reader started shaking whenever I opened it. I tried to install Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, but it had the same problem. Please help me out!I don't know how to record a video on my laptop, as I don't have a phone, so I can't show anything.

What is the problem? Any Idea?

Guten Tag, ich versuche mein Glück zunächst auf deutsch: Im Adobe Reader gibt es diverse, vorgefertigte dynamische Stempel, z.B. "Überprüft", "Erhalten" oder "Genehmigt", wo der aktuelle Windows-User mit Datum eingefügt wird.Kann man diese Stempel auch ändern, so dass es z.B. einen "Erstellt"-Stempel gibt ?Die Funktion "Benutzerdefinierte Stempel erstellen/verwalten" hilft mir nicht weiter. 

Why do I have to sign in to my account in order to read a PDF document with Acrobat Reader?

Hi,I'm regularly working with up to 15 pdf documents at the same time that are all at least 100 pages long. The problem is that Adobe Acrobat Reader (being 32-bit) is limited to ~4GB of RAM, so I almost always get the error prompt that I've run out of memory sooner or later. It also limits the speed with which I can work with the documents. Are there any plans to release a 64-bit version of the reader for Windows machines in the (near) future that would solve these problems?Thank you in advance for your answers!

We have to print protected pdf's from multiple vendors that require the IRM client for PDF. Worked fine on version 20063but 20071 and now 20074 pop up a message stating "IRM client for PDF cannot run with this version of Acrobat"2 questions, 1, can this be fixed? and 2, have uninstalled 20071 and reinstalled 20063 and disabled the Adobe Update services in Windows via services.msc but Adobe still updates. How can I keep from updating until fixed?thanks

I have a PDF that includes a "Send via Email" button. When using Internet Explorer to view the PDF the email application will open and attach the email no problem, When using Chrome, Firefox or Edge its like the button is disabled. I've also noticed the ADOBE tool bar is missing in those browsers as well.  Anyone have an explaination for this?  

Hello,I'm havin a problem with singatures in adobe reader.The company I work for use a service called "connective" to put digital signatures on pdf's using itsme/eid.After people signed the pdf I can then download them to check if the signature is valid.However sometimes it happens that I can not see the signature in adobe reader, but when I open it first in google chrome I do see that it's been signed (but there I can not check if it's valid).This problem only happens to some pdf's and I checked View > Show/Hide > Navigation Panes and "Signatures" is not there for those files.  Can you help me with this problem of the disappearing signatures?

I am trying to digitally sign a pdf in Acrobat Reader on a mac. I have set up a digital ID file. When I select my digital ID and enter my password, it then prompts me to save the pdf. After naming it and selecting a location to save, I get the following 2 messages: "The document could not be saved. A file error has occurred." "The document could not be signed." Any suggestions?

Hello,EnviromentWindows 10 20h2 - VDI device Vmware HorizonOutlook 2019 - Part of ImageAdobeReader DC 2020.012.20048 - Stored inside AppVolumeBehaviour:Starting attached PDF file from Outlook mail, cause that Adobe is Crashing with error Invalid Plugin Detected.Starting any PDF file from any location works fine.At the moment I found where problem can be located. Somehow  when AdobeDC i started from Outlook, make problems for plugins, they are not Cetrified.When Adobe run standalone Plugins are Certified.So far we don't know what can cause such solution, because any PDF file opened from any location %TEMP%, shared location, works fine.

Using a WebBrowser control in a WinForms application, trying to view a PDF file in the control now causes the control to start Acrobat incorrectly as Acrobat says it cannot find the file. At that point the WebBrowser control is hung and in exiting the program a failure occurs trying to unload AcroPDFImpl64.dll, as indicated in the Event Viewer. Also, regardless of whether the default PDF app is Acrobat Reader or Acrobat Pro, it always tries to start Acrobat Pro. Going into IE and disabling the Add-in fixes that failure. When the default app is Acrobat Pro, it will start it fine. When the default app is Acrobat Reader... if the Reader window is open it works OK, but if the Reader is not open then it will start the Reader but not show it. And then the Reader is no longer working and all instances must be killed via Task Manager. The PDF Browser Control file AcroPDFImpl64.dll is the latest version 21.1.20138..29261 dated 2/14/2021.
