I make a texture generator with Designer, the generator work correctly< but when I publish SBSAR file, The SBSAR file workS Correct in Painter but it dose not works correctly in Designer.I try Everything:Test the graph in another systemRemake the graph from scratchUpdate my Designer versionBut it didn't work.Is it related to SBSAR setting??I attach four pics to understand what is my problem

Hi! Sorry if this is something really simple but I really want to understand this. I made a texture and it looks great on the rounded cylinder(taken from the scene) but when i switch to the sphere (also taken from the scene), It stretches out and a lot. I tried to switch resolution but it did nothing. Nothing has changed. I'll provide 2 pictures below. What should I do? I need it to work exactly on the sphere. Thank you 

Hopefully I can explain this well enough. I have two Tile Sampler nodes, I have exposed "Rotation Random" on one and "Colour Random" on the other. I would like to set it up so when I change the rotation random in the exposed parameters, the colour random changes for the second Tile Sampler.  For example, when rotation random is set to 0.01 I want the colour random of the second Tile Sampler to be 0.3... when Rotation is 0.02 I want colour to be 0.5... Rotation 0.03, colour 0.7 etc. etc.  Is this possible? And if so, how do I do it?  Thanks!  

Hello, I am attending university and went through the process of getting verified for my license. I got an email back with a code and was told I have succesfully redeemed it. Yet the substance apps are not available to me. I'm now getting the message that the code is already redeemed. I have signed out and back in, restarted my pc, tried everything I could think of. Contacting support seems to be made intentionally difficult as I'm just getting sent around from one useless page to the other. Any help? I need to be able to use the software.

In Substance Designer, I want to convert a 16-bit node output to 8-bit using the 'Levels' node and at the same time, I want to create a switch that would allow this conversion quickly. I created a custom function as shown in the picture, but unfortunately, the switch does not work, as if it doesn't take the output from the Get Boolean node at all.

Heyhey, Substance community! I am fairly new to Substance Designer and I'm trying to create a mask where spots/dots follow a somwhat swirly path - here's a couple pictures so it's easier to understand what I'm looking for:  It's the iridescent surface of a rose chafer's wing under a microscope. What I'm referring to here is the smaller, mostly green spots arranged in swirly paths in between the larger, brown notches. In the first couple pictures it looks like those rows/paths are more or less solid and not particularly broken up, and you can see the flow of those paths particularly well. In the third picture it's a bit more evident that those paths are broken up and consist of smaller dots, with some space between them, while in the last picture (which is actually a different beetle) you can mainly see the spots.  Now I'd like to ask... how would you go about creating this type of texture/mask? I often get Designer doing that temporary couple minutes freezes  when it gets grey saying  "coocking" or "renderenig cash"  while showing  only 20% of using memory  , close to zero gpu  usage and not that much of cpu stress too.    Still I hear how my pc cooling system is getting lauder .      So what may be an issue ?

Hello! Unfortunately, I've run into a bit of a problem. I wanted to install Substance Designer on a new PC, but it would seem I do not have my license file(s) (for either Designer & Painter). In Substance Painter : If you use Filters like "Warp" you can get an empty "Image Input" Parameter where you can drag and drop Textures or use Anchor Points. I Want to make my own Filter in Substance Designer but I cant find the right way to use Anchor Points. What do I need to set up to get an empty image input field like in the picture?

Hello, I just installed Mrs Eaves from Adobe fonts, It shows up everywhere (eg Photoshop, MS Powerpoint) but not as an option in the text node in Substance Designer. I am running latest version of Adobe Substance 3D Designer (CC version, updated) on Windows 10.  Any thoughts? Thank you

Upon first launch, I encountered the dialog box shown below. The issue was resolved by logging out of the Creative Cloud Desktop app, then back in. Hurray!   But, clicking the link in the dialog box ("Contact Customer Support") takes me to a 404 page on adobe.com.              

I have a sbs that uses lots  of functions and substance graphs   from many other  sbs files that themselves  having lots of crosslinks and heavy big  bitmaps to load forever .How can I collect all the functions and graphs in my current sbs file?   Only ones my current sbs  is actually using ?  Not a huge archive of  all sbs files  but  only functions  and graphs that are actually in use?

Hi, I have a question about Substance Designer. I've been using it occasionally for some time now, and every time I create a texture, I run into the same issue.For example, when I use a Tile Sampler for the height map (grayscale), I also have to use another Tile Sampler for the color map, with the exact matching numbers for each individual tile so that both align well. So whenever I adjust the numbers to experiment with the look, I also have to manually apply the changes to the corresponding color nodes. I'm wondering if there's a way for any changes I make to automatically reflect in both nodes (like the Tile Sampler and the Color Tile Sampler). Here's another example: I downloaded a material file from somewhere (likely from the Substance Designer homepage), and when there are puckering, there are also stitches that should match exactly with the number of puckers. However, I always have to adjust both of them separately for alignment.   Is there a way to

Hi, we had a couple of artists who upgraded to Designer 13.1.2 thinking it would be a small update but it actually breaks compatibility with the current version of SAT used in our pipeline because sbs files created with 13.1.2 aren't compatible with SAT versions lower than 13.1.2. In the future is it possible to keep those types of breaking changes to minor or major version updates (such as with semantic versioning --https://semver.org/)? When a patch version update can bring down an entire pipeline it's not ideal for us.

Hello!I scanned the object, created the mesh in RealityCapture, unwrapped it and texturized. In RealityCapture my object looks great! I exported the model, opened in Substance 3D Designer and got fully black model. When I opened Substance baker settings it showed “UV set = -1”Why is that happening and how can I fix it?

Hello All, I am new to 3D photography, although I do have some experience in photography, so understand some of the basics of taking a decent photograph. My issue is, no matter how many pictures I take, I cannot get Substance to align them correctly. Hence Substance rejects the majority of my photographs and produces rather feeble meshes. I have attached my photographs below I know there isn't enough - I haven't uploaded all of them. But this is the quality I have created. It does create a mesh, but not a very good one.  Any advice?? Thanks  

Hello. For whatever reason, whenever I try to drag a single node from this Material Height Blend, it drags all the nodes at the same time. How do I disable this?

Can while loop node  be usedd to do something like slope blur or  doing random iterations  offset  like in fxnode?    Or it's only for pixel value  calculation itself?   For example I am trying to  to do small image shift  in X/U direction  with max blending . Could it be achived  with loop node and more than 32 steps   ot it's incappable to do such thing  by its nature? ps. Just asked ChatGPT same  question .  In one reply it says I should use  iterations in FXmap node  instead  for the task  , other time it says while loop still can do it but then tells something meaningless with nonexisting  nodes and options. I am officially lost now.    If while loop can do it could sombody show an example please . I think FX map would do it too slow.

How would one go about setting up nodes to calculate the inverse of sin, cos, tan? I need to draw triangles where I will only know two sides and their shared angle, and I'm using the Law of Sines to calculate the third side.

HiI'm wondering if it's possible to use one graphics card in the computer and another external e-gpu to render a scene in Substance 3D Designer/IRay?In the Substance 3D Designer/IRay settings it looks like this is possible?
