Hello, my problem is that the export of a Premiere sequence with growing files source material in XAVC-I 1080p50 via the Media Encoder is very slow (30min sequence in ~12min) as long as the growing file is not yet completed. As soon as you stop the recording of the XAVC-I file and thus finalize the file, the export is much faster (30min sequence in ~3min)The comparison workflow in DNxHD 1080p50 also works perfectly with unfinished growing files (30min sequence in ~3min). Premiere Pro 2024 / Adobe Media Encoder 2024Growing files are created with EVS IPDirectorPremiere sequence settings for both Exportcodecs:DNX 1080p, 50 frames/secPreview: DNX SQ 1080p 50 There are no 50p sequence settings for XAVC-I I'm looking for a “same as source” workflow with growing files for XAVC-I 1080p50 - preferably without reencoding, so that it works as quickly as possible. Where can I look for my mistake?
Hi! For the past month or so muliple users in our studio have been getting this popup error message, "ReferenceError: BridgeTalk is undefined". It typically comes up in the background/behind our apps, as such, it has not been obvious what is triggering the error. We ususally only see it after quitting our applications – After Effects, Premiere, Media Encoder, and occasionally Photoshop / Illustrator. Recently have updated many of the video apps to their latest versions (24.6.1 as of writing), and that hasn't eliminated the error. Does anyone have anyone have any experience what might be triggering? Note, none of us are using Bridge, but I've posted this here because it has "BridgeTalk" in the error. We're all running MacOS 14.5-14.6.1 generally, on Mac Studio M1's Thanks!
So I just bought Creative Cloud and have just started to try to figure out how to use After Effects today.I have imported a movie and added some text animations, and I am trying to export the video to the Media Encoder but I keep getting the following error.AEGP Plugin AEDynamicLInkServer: Adobe Media Encoder is not installed. Please download and install it to use this feature. Go to https://creative.adobe.apps . ( 5027 :: 12 )After I click "OK" I get the next message:AEGP Plugin AEDynamicLinkServer: Failed to connect to Adobe Media Encoder. ( 5027 :: 12 )So I really don't know what do because I have just started using After Effects but I would like some input on how to fix it because I would be able to like to export a video at some point. The Render Engine is installed but whenever I try to open it nothing happens but After Effects opens again. At one point I had four After Effects open at once and didn't realize it.If it matters, I did install the CUDA plugin. So if anyone could give
Hey thanks for this spiuffy update. But sadly it is broken. It won't open. And crashes instantly. I've uninstalled, and reinstalled and get the exact same issue. Really annoying.
Hi I noticed on the latest Media Encoder 25.2 when selecteing MXF0P1a the time code shows as drop frames. My source is 25fps and im encoding as XDCAMHD 50 PAL 422 and also AVC Intra100 1080 but the time code at the bottom set start timecode shows up as 09;59;50;00 instead of 09:59:50:00Is this a bug? if so is there a fix?Ive had to roll back to 25.1Anyone else had this? Thanks in advance
O meu media encoder está tendo erro. Quando clico para exportar do after effects, ele chega o vídeo para a esquerda e corta o vídeo, aparecendo o que falta da esquerda, na direita do vídeo.
I've been making videos and exporting them perfectly and uploading them to youtube. However, yesterday I go to export this video and I get this message. No idea what to do. Thought Premier pro and media encoder would need updating so I've updated them both to the most recent one, yet it still says it's not installed. Please help, I need to upload videos.
How do you apply a custom ingest preset to the entire batch of clips at once imported into the Media Encoder qeue? There's gotta be a way to do this instead of applying the preset to each clip in the queue.
Hello everyone, I am a stage manager at a ballet company where we utilize videos from rehearsal quite often. After we film something on our camera, we put the file through Media Encoder so we can have an mp4 file that we can then share with choreographers, directors, dancers etc. Every so often, the audio is out of sync by a second or so in a video. It is not consistent, does not happen during every video, and sometimes it is only certain parts of the video that become out of sync. Does anyone know the best settings to use to prevent this from happening? Unfortunately, the audio even being a second off can be a major issue for rehearsal purposes. Here are the basic settings I am currently using: H.264VBR 2 Pass10x12 Video Bitrate334 Audio BitrateMaximum Render Quality Any suggestions would be extremely helpful!
I have been rendering my videos using software for quite some time. Today I decided to switch to hardware encoding. I had to play around with my console as my hardware encoding option was greyed out. I managed to get it working and the first render went smoothly. It took about 16 minutes (on software I needed at least 50 minutes). Turns out the final result is just a mess, it's all wavy/striped. Using this clip in some other programs such as Topaz Video AI green lines appear. The video itself is not silent.I've switched back to software encoding to see if that's why this is happening. - everything goes back to normalI restarted my laptop - no changesI updated my GeForce drivers - no changesI mess around with settings such as profiles - no changesMy rendering settings:H.264 - Main - 4.2 1920H x 1080W px 60fps30Mbps VBR 1 pass,Max rendering quality, Max depth - both checkedMy laptop specs:Dell G15 551016 GB RAM DDR4RTX 3050 4GB (codename: GN20-P0)Intel i5-10200H 2.40GHzSoftware:Wind
I changed PPro from 24.6.3 to 25.2.3 and therefore also went from ME 24.6.3 to ME 25.2.When I try to render a video using the option "Send to ME" ME is activated and the render job vcan be seen in ME's queue. Once I start the render process in ME ist stops after a while returning an error as can be seen below: Fehler beim ExportFehler beim Kompilieren des Films.Fehler beim Rendern von SoftwareSoftware-Effekt gab Fehler zurück.Schreiben mit Exporter: H.264Schreiben in Datei: V:\Projekte\Provisorium\Titel_1.mp4Dateityp wird geschrieben: H264Um Timecode: 00:00:05:03 - 00:00:05:12Rendering-Effekt: AE.ADBE TextRendering bei Offset: 0,080 SekundenKomponente: Text vom Typ AEVideoFilterSelektor: 11Fehlercode: 512 When I try to render the video directly from PPro it is successful. Any help on this?
This started happening when I upgraded to 14.8, but Media Encoder seems to be continually running in the background on my PC and will not let me terminate the process. Because of this I can't do things like delete or move files I've rendered with it, uninstall/re-install it or update/downgrade it since it's considered still running. I've tried the Adobe Clean Up tool, force-kill with Command Prompt, terminating with Task Manager, restarting the PC; nothing seems to work. Don't know if my PC specs are needed but will include just in case:OS - Windows 10RAM - 32GBCPU - i7-8700KGPU - GTX 1070 Ti
I keep creating a new preset based on HQ108p but crucially switch the captions to none.I have several videos queued and either when applying this preset or in the middle of the output process, some videos export with burnt in. The number of times I have created a new preset only to exhibit the above.Any ideas as to why? NB: the videos also get exported low res with sidecar and this works fine.
I'm trying to export a .ts file but it only allows a .m2t file. The video playback system in a hospital only takes a .ts file extensions. I'm choosing:Format: MPEG2Multiplexing: TS What else???Any ideas?

I am using After Effecs CC and I am trying to open the .aep file in Adobe Media Encoder CC (to export as a MPEG file). I am getting an error stating: "Could not connect to Adobe After Effects. Please verify that Aobde After Effects and Adobe Dynamic Link components are installed". I have both AE and AME open and running. In the menu for AE I have the Dynamic Link menu available. However, when opening the .aep file in AME I always get this error.-Dave
Hi all - Hoping to find a solution to save me time. I have two videos built in Premiere that share assets, one built in 1x1 and one in 9x16. Both of these videos have a .psd file in them that contains a date. I need to create this same video in both aspect ratios for roughly ~30 dates. The issue I run into is if I send to media encoder, I need to wait until all files begin encoding before editing the .psd file or the asset gets updated across all the files previously sent (I learned this the hard way.) Ideally, I would like this to be my workflow: (Update .psd file with date > send to media encoder > update .psd file with new date > send to media encoder) times x, and then > encode. Currently, I have to update .psd > send to media encoder > wait to encode > and repeat. As you can see, this takes significantly longer. Any ideas? Is there any way for the .psd file to be saved to its last state before sending to the encoder, and then it
Hi, I'm trying to automate transcodes of ProRes RAW material by using either Premiere or Media Encoder.Currently, my best option is to use a source effect preset in Premiere to set the source color space and then apply a LUT on export. It is a bit of a manual process though and I'd like to write a script to do it automatically. The best thing would be to just use Media Encoder and not have to involve Premiere at all, but I can't change source settings of multiple clips at once.I was looking through the scripting documentation for both Premiere and AME but couldn't find a way to change the source color space. Am I missing something?
Recently upgraded to Premiere Pro 2024 across 3 edit suites at our UK broadcast place. We have different generation Macs and playout equipment but the results are the same. We've experienced audio glitches whenever we export through Media Encoder at every audio edit point that doesn't have a cross fade or effect on. This includes cuts that are just 'thru edits' (part of the trouble shooting test)Where these cuts are on the sequence corresponds with audio dropout of approx half a frame on whatever audio track has the edit. These are audible dropouts despite the tiny size. This is manifesting across all suites (Studio, iMac, MacMini in Monterey and Ventura) and using a number of output formats: XDCAM MXF, ProRes, Wav, AS11All create the same result on every (hard) audio edit point. Our workaround is to export direct from Premiere Pro as that doesn't seem to create the same issues - but that then precludes the use of ME entirely and makes the workflow quite tricky. There is also another glitch
hiim trying to export a video for use in a unity3d ipad app, and im having trouble getting the colour to export correctly. I'm trying to make a time lapse video from still images from a dslr. When I stitch clip together, jpegs are 5 seconds long. please advise. Thanks F
Hi,I have a large clip (1-1/2 hours long) I have exported via ME as 4K and it corrupts the finished file after around the 2 minute mark. ME completes the export but with the corruption.I have tried a second time only to receive the same issue. What are the best practice work arounds for solving this issue? Is there a cache file that I should consider deleting?I'm currently rendering the entire clip and hope this helps remove any issues.
I keep trying to export a h.264 but AME keeps exporting an empty mp4 and an xmp file. Is there any way to merge the two or fix the issue?
