The Media Encoder 2022 seems to be buggy on my side. I usually select different sections of video and find out that the videos are exporting the same videos that I didn't ask for. Is there some kind of issue with Premiere's version when it comes to transferring the videos to Media Encoder for you guys or is it just bugged on my side? Usually, when I export things in bulk, I don't get this problem but it's been annoying and I have to double-check what actually exported correctly.

Hello,I want  to render a movie with subtitle into DCP format using Media Encoder.If I render in H264 format, I get the mp4 file with an .srt file, when I open the .mp4 file with VLC, I can include or not the subtitle, eveything works fine.When I render in DCP format, I do not find the subtitle file into de folder.dcp wich contains only video and audio along with the various XML control files. What am I wrong doing ?Thanks, Frank.

when i load media encoder i get a error window 'adobe media encoder has encountered an unexpected error and cannot continue … the load window was sitting at AEXD ... if i the unload and reinstall the app everything is ok … for that session I did a support chat and i feel had a poor experience ... the first call was disconnected with no explaination after asking me to re-name folder 'common' did not work. The second call i was almost immmediately asked to load software and do a remote session. My backgound has been computer security ... i was unhappy to leap straight into this option without looking for known errors etc first ... again this call was disconnected with no warning/explanation Is this usual? Is remote session the standard support route? Hi, Media Encoder 2021 will just stop once it gets to 100% and need a fix for this ASAP. I'm a youtube video editor so I use media encoder to export multiple videos at once. No crazy settings just Match source - High Bit Rate 1080p 60 videos. A 21 minute video takes 6 mins to get to 100% but then the bar just stays full and doesnt move? I have adequte space on my hard drive and have tried software only and still get the same results. This was never an issue in 2020 but really don't want to have to downgrade back to 2020 as that would be a lot of effort. Hope someone can help

Is there a way to create a workflow where the tape name of the file take automatically his filename ?I can choose that in davinci resolve but I don't see how it could be in media encoder.For the moment I can only do this file by file when I copy the file name into the tape name from my metadata and it's exhausting...

Hi.I'm trying to export an .mp4 from an image sequence (.tif) and add audio to it using the "watch folder" feature in AME. Unfortunately, I haven't had any success.I read that it's possible if the audio file has the same name as the first .tif file, but it's not working for me.Can you tell me if this is even possible using my method? If not, how would you approach this if you wanted to automate the process?Cheers 🙂

Hello, my problem is that the export of a Premiere sequence with growing files source material in XAVC-I 1080p50 via the Media Encoder is very slow (30min sequence in ~12min) as long as the growing file is not yet completed.As soon as you stop the recording of the XAVC-I file and thus finalize the file, the export is much faster (30min sequence in ~3min)The comparison workflow in DNxHD 1080p50 also works perfectly with unfinished growing files (30min sequence in ~3min). Premiere Pro 2024 / Adobe Media Encoder 2024Growing files are created with EVS IPDirectorPremiere sequence settings for both Exportcodecs:DNX 1080p, 50 frames/secPreview: DNX SQ 1080p 50 There are no 50p sequence settings for XAVC-I I'm looking for a “same as source” workflow with growing files for XAVC-I 1080p50 - preferably without reencoding, so that it works as quickly as possible. Where can I look for my mistake?

Hi! For the past month or so muliple users in our studio have been getting this popup error message, "ReferenceError: BridgeTalk is undefined". It typically comes up in the background/behind our apps, as such, it has not been obvious what is triggering the error. We ususally only see it after quitting our applications – After Effects, Premiere, Media Encoder, and occasionally Photoshop / Illustrator. Recently have updated many of the video apps to their latest versions (24.6.1 as of writing), and that hasn't eliminated the error. Does anyone have anyone have any experience what might be triggering? Note, none of us are using Bridge, but I've posted this here because it has "BridgeTalk" in the error. We're all running MacOS 14.5-14.6.1 generally, on Mac Studio M1's Thanks!

So I just bought Creative Cloud and have just started to try to figure out how to use After Effects today.I have imported a movie and added some text animations, and I am trying to export the video to the Media Encoder but I keep getting the following error.AEGP Plugin AEDynamicLInkServer: Adobe Media Encoder is not installed. Hi I noticed on the latest Media Encoder 25.2 when selecteing MXF0P1a the time code shows as drop frames. My source is 25fps and im encoding as XDCAMHD 50 PAL 422 and also AVC Intra100 1080 but the time code at the bottom set start timecode shows up as 09;59;50;00 instead of 09:59:50:00Is this a bug? if so is there a fix?Ive had to roll back to 25.1Anyone else had this?Thanks in advance

I've been making videos and exporting them perfectly and uploading them to youtube. However, yesterday I go to export this video and I get this message. No idea what to do. Thought Premier pro and media encoder would need updating so I've updated them both to the most recent one, yet it still says it's not installed. Please help, I need to upload videos.

How do you apply a custom ingest preset to the entire batch of clips at once imported into the Media Encoder qeue?  There's gotta be a way to do this instead of applying the preset to each clip in the queue.

Hello everyone, I am a stage manager at a ballet company where we utilize videos from rehearsal quite often. After we film something on our camera, we put the file through Media Encoder so we can have an mp4 file that we can then share with choreographers, directors, dancers etc. Every so often, the audio is out of sync by a second or so in a video. It is not consistent, does not happen during every video, and sometimes it is only certain parts of the video that become out of sync. Does anyone know the best settings to use to prevent this from happening? Unfortunately, the audio even being a second off can be a major issue for rehearsal purposes. Here are the basic settings I am currently using: H.264VBR 2 Pass10x12 Video Bitrate334 Audio BitrateMaximum Render Quality Any suggestions would be extremely helpful!

I have been rendering my videos using software for quite some time. Today I decided to switch to hardware encoding. I had to play around with my console as my hardware encoding option was greyed out. I managed to get it working and the first render went smoothly. It took about 16 minutes (on software I needed at least 50 minutes). Turns out the final result is just a mess, it's all wavy/striped. Using this clip in some other programs such as Topaz Video AI green lines appear. I changed PPro from 24.6.3 to 25.2.3 and therefore also went from ME 24.6.3 to ME 25.2.When I try to render a video using the option "Send to ME" ME is activated and the render job vcan be seen in ME's queue. This started happening when I upgraded to 14.8, but Media Encoder seems to be continually running in the background on my PC and will not let me terminate the process. Because of this I can't do things like delete or move files I've rendered with it, uninstall/re-install it or update/downgrade it since it's considered still running. I've tried the Adobe Clean Up tool, force-kill with Command Prompt, terminating with Task Manager, restarting the PC; nothing seems to work. Don't know if my PC specs are needed but will include just in case:OS - Windows 10RAM - 32GBCPU - i7-8700KGPU - GTX 1070 Ti

I keep creating a new preset based on HQ108p but crucially switch the captions to none.I have several videos queued and either when applying this preset or in the middle of the output process, some videos export with burnt in.  The number of times I have created a new preset only to exhibit the above.Any ideas as to why? NB: the videos also get exported low res with sidecar and this works fine.

I'm trying to export a .ts file but it only allows a .m2t file. The video playback system in a hospital only takes a .ts file extensions. I'm choosing:Format: MPEG2Multiplexing: TS What else???Any ideas?
