Why has my XD changed to buy or try when it is upto date?

I want to start out by saying I'm a photographer, not a designer. I've been using InDesign to create marketing emailers to send to clients via Constant Contact, exporting either JPG or PNG files, but always find the files look compressed. Fuzzy fonts and photographs having that compressed look, even when I try to minimize file compression. Talking with a designer friend who's on maternity leave (so has her hands full), she told me a lot of designers use XD to design emailers, even if thats not really what it was made for. Before I dive into the rabbit hole of XD, I'm hoping folks here can give me some thoughts on if they find XD to be a good solution for creating marketing email templates, if it's a piece of software that has a steep learning curve or if it's more intuitive or if there are other design apps I should consider, maybe stick with InDesign and see how to make that work.Thanks!

Hi there,I am experiencing several issues with Adobe XD:I've created a library (L) in a source document (S) and am using this library in another document (D). Shifting instances in DWhen making changes to the components in L/S, updating and then updating D, instances start shifting without a noticable pattern. (In S no shifting is happening.) I have been trying to find the reason for this issue. One approach was to try to remove stacks. While continuing to work with it the shifting happened again, so it appears that stacks are not to be the origin of the shifting.--> There is no option other than Adobe fixing this. Why is this happening, how can I fix it and how can it be prevented in the future? Error when updating DAfter this a new problem occured: I update L. Hi, I'm gating the 44:47 issue while creating a shareable link. I tried to create a new document but still, the same issue is coming. Even I tried all provided toubleshooting guides but unfortunately, it's not working for me.  Even though I'm trying to connect with my phone hotspot, it says you are offline.  

  I am unable to access adobeXD links from a company laptop. It is accessible from my mobile. I did the stacking, and had my components with different states, right? Like a collapsing-box, but when I'm in the prototype and collapse the box the other elements won't move to accommodate the new space...I know I'm missing something small and stupid because I did this before...

Can my team update links in a project if I'm the owner? If so, how to do it? It is now blocked for them. And we have a business plan!Thanks! 

Hi there, Is AdobeXD still free? I cannot update to the latest version if I don't choose a plan. For me, the free version was more than enough, as I'm using the app from time to time for my hobby. If that's the case - I have to choose a plan to get updates from now on - I will sadly uninstall the app.  Could anyone tell me what is happening? Thanks!

Hello dear community,I use the font-family "Chalkboard" in XD for most of my templates. I would like to sell these templates. Can you tell me if I can use the font commercially? I couldn't find anything about this on the internet.I would appreciate your help very much.Thanks a lot!Best Riko

I wonder if any of you got the same issue with font Arboria. I don't know why there is a yellow hand icon next to it, and the font became unavailable. I noticed the letter Y also get distorted. In order to resolve the issue, I have deactivate and reactivate the font. Sometimes, it works. Other times, it doesn't. This is so annoying.   <Title renamed by moderator>

When I attempt to open XD through the creative cloud, the app blink red at the bottom bar of my screen and then closes. I haven't been able to open the app up. I just downloaded the latest version so I am up to date!   <Title renamed by moderator>

Good morning, Over the last 6 months I have been working with my collegue on a prototype using an Abobe XD cloud document.   I am leaving the project that I am currently on and need to make sure my collegue is not interrupted in any way.  I shared the prototype link initially and since then he has not been able to share the prototype - he ends up having to ask me.  (I think I have somehow become the "Owner").   What is the proper procedure in this case?  I have searched and cannot seem to find anything.   Thank you.   <Title renamed by moderator>

Hello,   Ever since updating to 55.0.x.x, it's not possible to pin comments in prototypes shared in the Design Review mode. All comments just float around on scroll so we're unable to track what area the client's refering to. This has had a significant negative impact on our organization's ability to iterate effectively.   It's only happening to prototypes shared after the update. Older ones still allow us to pin comments.    Any advice on how to resolve this?   Thank you!

I'm having issues with getting the components to work properly after putting them on an overly. Yikes! 

Hi, We are exporting XD files to HTML and CSS using WebExport Plugin, There are some issues while converting like Horizontal and vertical Scroll is not working. Is there any other Plugin you suggest to us to convert the XD files to HTML and CSS? Thanks.

The border radius is no longer accepting a value - jumps back to 0. I have tried a new rectangle. I have opened and closed the App. I have tried a local document. I can pull the corners but I need to adjust only two corners.Please advise if this is a bug since any updates. This feature was working perfectly.Thanks

Is it possible to make an "apple effect" with adobe Xd? This is where as you scroll down the page, it looks like you are rotating a 3d object. And it doesn't just look like a video was played, it really feels like you are rotating the object as you scroll down.  He is the apple website, as you scroll down, you will see what I mean. https://www.apple.com/macbook-pro-14-and-16/

All the old projects prototyping link are asking the user for login details or password to access the link. And also some links asking the user to request access. This is happening since yesterday for all the links which are created one month before. Is there any outage in the XD cloud setup? Please provide a solution at the earliest.

I'm going through the XD prototyping tutorials and am wondering if I can set the hotspots in this navigation without having to apply them to every artboard individually? As the latter could be very time consuming if I have a lot of different pages   E.g. could I make a component out of the nav and link each button to a certain artboard, and then place that component into my artboards?   It seems I can do something similar with overlays, except that involves having them animate in... whereas I'd just like it so that the nav was static.     <Title renamed by moderator>

Hi there,how can I adjust the sync time intervall / auto save towards CC?Do sb now how the synchronisation to the cloud is set?When is it normally saved automatically by XD? Or do I have to actively save despite synchronisation? (Last week lost some work because of failing sync or saving) Thanx a lot for your answers.CheersOli4

I'm building a wireframe and the links to the other artboards work fine. But when I click on anything further down the page it brings me to the right artboard but further down the page. I'm not doing anything special just linking to other artboards. I haven't changed anything other than dragging the link tool to the page it needs to go to. It looks like it brings me to the middle of the page.

Hello, I have 5 components that I have arranged in a horizontal stack.I have a toggle state for those components which changes the widths of the component (the toggle state is wider than the default state).In prototype mode, the stack does not adapt to the new width of my toggled components, even though the stack does adapt to the new width when modifying the state manually on the artboard itself. I would like to find a way to achieve the desired result without having to go through the toggled/not-toggled states myself (5 components is 32 states...) Any way to do what I'm after ?

When my students are designing for a chosen phones artboard, they often forget to consider the area in the top of the screen where the front camera is located. Can Adobe make guidelines for this area?

I download the Adobe XD app on my iPad Pro gen 3. I needed it for a class and got a free subscription from the course. I downloaded the app and attached the new subscription to my email I have used with adobe previously. The app opens but there is no way for me to start any new projects or anything. Is the app not a full version like desktop? Do I need to use a desktop to use Adobe XD as an actual program? I have attached a picture of what the program looks like when I open it. Is there something I am missing? The subscription is set and I checked the actual website to double check that I have the subscription attached to this email. Thank you for your time. Sorry if its something simple I'm missing.
