Questions

Hello,   I have set up a drag transition bewtween 4 artboards, but it only works in one direction. I wired them for ot to go 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, then back 4-3, etc. But when I drag, it only goes in the 1-2 direction, won't go back 4-3, etc. I had set up a dummy file based on the tutorial video & it worked. I've spent hours tryingh to get htis to work.     TIA

Sorry for my bad English, I am trying to make a drag animation on my UI ordering app. I've made a drag animation for the "Burgers" container and it working good and I tried to make the same for the categories which is above the Burgers container and when I tried to play the prototype and try to drag any element of  the previously mentioned groups I find them both moving togther like they're linked together.. Here's a video that explain what I mean.

I can't see a way to turn on a playbar for an imported video. I want users to be able to scrub to a specific location in the video. Is there a way to do this? I have already tried embedding a URL to a video, but that causes the video to open in a separate window. I have text below the video that tells what is a certain timestamps, so that needs to remain visible.

Im a really basic Adobe XD user!   when I copy and paste an object from a board across to another I get this warning (below). I'm saving my documents to my local computer  can anyone explain to me what this means and what the ramifcations are? I seem to be able to copy and paste objects in the way I woul like with no issues, but am I missing something that may affect me later down the line? thanks!  here is the warning:  Changes starting September 2021 You will no longer be able to link cloud documents to reuse assets.  Existing local and cloud documents that have linked assets will no longer propagate updates when edits are made to assets.  Copying and pasting a Component that is not published to a library will result in an unlinked copy of the component.  Creative Cloud Libraries will be the only way to publish and share linked assets across documents in XD.

In my cases,I have two artboards (A, B), and artboard A have a time trigger with 1s delay.So after 1s, artboard A will be changed to the artboard B.  Artboard A has a 'Rectangle' which has a component interaction. when the mouse cursor hovers over the Rectangle, the rectangle changed the color itself.  Then in the preview,  if the mouse cursor hovers over the rectangle in the artboard A, the time trigger is not working, so artboard A is not changed to the artboard B regardless of the time. Is there any approach to co-exist the time trigger & component interaction??  

Hi. I have always had issues with the quality of the exported image from XD but now my Client has suggested I use a better prototyping software.It seems that whatever the quality of object and images I use in XD, when I export to Jpeg or PNG the quality of the image dramatically drops.In my example the pdf contains 3 images as described in the PDF. In frustratiom I had to export my design to photoshop at twice the size, then re-size and re-export frpm photoshop to png (see C).The objects in my image are a either bitmaps or vectors. The top left logo is a vector and perfect quality within XD (see the screen grab A). On export (B) its terrible.Is it me or is there a function within XD that allows me to export clean images.

Hi All, I built a dropdown. When an item is selected, I am using a link on the selected item to have it appear as the selected item in the dropdown.  Simple. My challenge, I want this link do two things. 1) Select the item so it appears as selected (current) and 2) and change the state of the parent control that will turn on the associated form fields. It seems like my dropdown (which is the child of another component which houses associated form fields that appear depending on the item selected in the dropdown) cannot see the parent states. Is anyone aware of a method of accomplishing this?  I am so close with this really cool design. Thank you.

When changing font, font style, time delay, easing and duration, you need to click exactly at the bottom center of the selection arrow. Why is it designed like this? There are UI elements all throughout Adobe products that give the user plenty of target space to select.   

Hi there,I cannot tolerate the scroll direction in XD as it is set by default, please can someone help me find the setting to reverse scroll direction ?  Thank you

I love XD on the Mac but wanted to show it off on Windows 10. Interestingly, the workspace will not scroll using arrows or the touchscreen. The application does not appear to see that the workspace is larger than the available real estate. Obviously with 30-40 mockups, this becomes a big issue and renders the app unusable. The device in question is a Lenovo Miix 520 convertible running Windows 10.

Hi, when I export my prototype from XD to Behance, the background of my project is white and because my wireframes are white as well, it doesnt present well. Is there any possibility to export the prototype so that it has maybe a border? and can be distinguished from the background. ( I cant change the colour just for the part where my prototype is exported in Behance). Thanks

Hello!I am trying to put the artboard in the background so I can get a small presentation of my work. However, whenever I put my artboard on top of another it is overlapping it and one artboard becomes part of another. What should I do?Thank you so much!

When opening adobe xd I am prompted to login even though I am logged in to creative cloud. When I log in through XD,  then creative cloud is logged out.When opening a photoshop file in xd, XD crashes and logs out. I also can't drag and drop from Photoshop or illustrator. Not sure if this is a supported feature.I'm on a widows 10 machine.

The problem is that from the get-go, I cant use my keyboard shortcuts, or type anything anywhere in the app. And iv tried multiple keyboards so its not just mine peripherals.   I've tried : - uninstalling-reinstalling - restarting my computer - downloading an older - downloading it from the site as opposed to within the creative cloud app   Does anyone know a fix for this, please let me know, Thanks!   <The title was renamed by moderator>

Hi,in XD I set Preferences > Language > English and I restart it.But after 2-3 days it backs in Italian, very frustrating, so I have to reset again in English and restar XD, but after some days it backs automatically in Italian, and so no. - I haveCreative Cloud in Italian (I can't uderstand how set it in English)- I set in Creative Cloud that my preference language is English- My operating system (oSX Big SUR) is in Italian 

After the recent update I am unable to use premium features of XD i.e., Creating Links, Enabling CoEditing. My plan is Corporate plan. Can any one please help with this issue. I am not sure if the liscense plan issue.

I know this is a known issue, but every day I have to uninstall all Adobe xd programs and reinstall it completely just so the program launches. Otherwise the program wont load and remains stuck in the logo screen. Is there any fix to this other than uninstalling and reinstalling everytime? I went through the other troubleshooting steps like disable display adapters, tried a previous version and those ones.Windows 10.0.19044XD version 51.0.12

When I chose an artboard preset or open an Xd file I am getting this static display and am not able to use anything.  The art board doesn't show up or anything. I have quit and reset my computer, uninstalled it and cleared it completly with the clearer, and can't find any remedy online. What gives?     <Title renamed by moderator>

 

When I export the colors get really bland, I feel like they automatically convert to CMYK, before I didn't have this problem! What to do ??

I cannot see any of my cloud documents. Neither the ones where I am the owner, nor the ones which are shared with me. I cannot see them under https://assets.adobe.com/cloud-documents And i cannot see them on the CreativeCloud desktop client either. My college with whom the files are shared with can see the documents I am the owner of. Logging in and out did not help.

I know this has been "in the backlog" since 2016 now, but I'm begging you XD team, PLEASE implement a dark mode for Adobe XD, it's giving me migraines using it. This is getting desperate now.

I have created UI kit library with various components which are categorised in groups. When I'm working in the original Adobe XD file of mentioned library with components, everything looks ok. As soon as I choose UI kit library while working in other Adobe XD files, empty multiple groups appears and I can't get rid of them because they are not in the original library. Is there any way to fix this?
