Questions

I'm looking for somewhere in Experience Design where I can create and drag horizontal and vertical guides around the page. I use this alot in photoshop for designing interfaces. e.g. I want to design to a 1140px container with a three column grid inside with gutters, and horizontal guides to align my type. Is there some kind of layout/guide/grid tool that I am missing? Other than that 'grid' tool that draws repeated squares all over the artboard - this doesn't allow for guides and rulers like what I am looking for.

I am currently a teacher that teachers computer science (back end) and currently learning more about web design (front end).  I have a student who has the Adobe suite and would like to build a website.  They have designed a prototype using Adobe XD and would like to publish this. It is my understanding that Adobe XD is not capable of completely publishing a website as there many other steps needed to do so (Adobe Dreamweaver, hosting, domain, etc.).  However, if I'm wrong I'd like to know if there is a way to do so. 

I'm trying to create an effect slider, and have successfully done so if my slider is in the middle of the area I want to change - however, in this example, when I try to have my slider start to the right of Australia, I can't get a realistic drag/slide effect! Does anyone know of a solution? Thanks! Starting within the Australia shape  Starting outside of Australia

Hello there,it seems I have a huge problem. I want to manage the spacing between several text frames in XD. I don't want to use the distance functions, but rather enter the distances in numbers, as with sketch. I just don't find this possibility anywhere. Am I missing something? Can someone help me? Hello team, I have just lost all the assets in the locally saved file worth my one month. While saving the Adobe XD stopped responding. It just went on a lost trip and then crashed... when I again opened my file, there were only blank artboards. PS: I haven't pressed any delete or backspace or any other button. I only pressed 'ctrl + s' before this happened... Can you help me out?

Hi guys, I have created button with hover state and it works perfectly within only one board without having to create multiple boards BUT!!!! it doesnt lead me to another board just playing the effect nicely... SO its completly usless for me beacause I can play nice effect but cannot lead this damn button to board I need. I find it very fruestrating, but maybe someone have solution for that? I hope I am just doing something wrong and its not a case that Adobe XD made a usless function to just drive us nuts grrrrrr. Thank you all for your tips as I am stucked now

When I play the prototype of the sreens, it becomes too slow and buggy. It takes 2-3 seconds to load another screen if I click on an interactive element. 

I have problems with repeat grid, when I try to drop multiple pictures it's not working. 

My keyboard totally stops working in adobe xd. I can't input text or use the shortcuts as the keyboard doesn't response at all. I am using windows 10 and the latest version of xd. my pc has 8 gb ram, core i3 7th gen, amd radeon r7 250 2gb gpu. need a solution badly please.

Hello form Argentina! Today i tried to share a prototype with a client, but realised half the screens were not showing. I tried looking for answers on the subject, but the link provided in adobe comunity is "private" and i can't enter. All screens are connected so i can't see the reason why they are not showing... Help please!

Please please please fix this as soon as possible!!!!! Updated XD to latest version 33.1.12.4 and now cannot open any cloud documents that have co-editing enabled.....wtf.....!!!!!! Every document i try give me the following error: "Trying to reconnet""This document is temporarily unavailable for offline editing. Connect to Creative Cloud to upgrade the document for offline usage" This is not OK. I've checked in creative cloud, both in the app and online - there are no obvious options to "upgrade the document" ....can't find that one anywhere  I'm not sure that this is appropriate, how do i explain this one to the team, oh yeah about meeting those deadlines we're working to...ffs..???? Can you fix this as soon as possible, i really really need a solution v.v.quickly to this...it's becoming a bit of a running joke at the moment.

Hello, I'm new to XD and have awatched a few videos on how to do this. I've followed the steps but the results are not the same for me. When I drag a selected group of photos from finder window to my defined repeat grid, only the first image fills up with the first image on my list. Same with when I drag the .txt file to fill in text boxes in the repeat grid. What am I missing?

Can someone help me?Is there a limit on artboards for each workflow?I have a project with 33 clipboards and I can't get them all together in the same flow.How do I link all artboards?When I create the link to share these artboards that are not in the flow, they do not enter thevisualization project. Hi! I wanted to create various touchable buttons in XD. However, after I created the linkage of the objects, I notice actually the touch areas of them became all rectangles.  Due to this, the touch areas will be wrongly detected due to this. Is it possible to solve it? How could we set to get a more accurate touch area? Thank you!   {Renamed BY MOD}  

I need to create assets automatically from my live website either by using the online websites url or by importing the CSS File. Imagine a way to import a css file and every property we'll be transormed and imported to assets in XD automatically.Is there any way?If not i think this is a great idea for plugin or new feature in the future. Thanks

Hi all,after trying to follow up with some of my older projects, I realised that several cloud documents are missing from my Adobe XD. I uninstalled and reinstalled XD and followed all the recommended steps from Adobe help, but cant find anything. All projects were from end of May2020 to June2020. Any clues?thank you

Hi all, I finished my project with prototype and shared the link with the client. But they see an extra screen which was already deleted from my end. But from some where it is apearing at times. The file is not present in my artboard in any ways. I checked it multiple times. Please help me sort this. 😞

Hello Guys,as we develop a Plugin for Adobe XD we try to read out information of components and pack them in an JSON Format. One of these crucial information are horizontal and vertical constrains.In the previous iteration of Adobe XD we were able to read the nodes horizontal and vertical constraints as described in the plugin documentation.Since the newest Update (to 33.1.12) we only get "undefined" instead of the object. Even though we need the "Manual" mode we also tested the "Auto" mode with the similar result of returning "undefined". (which is expected?)

I have a component (a button) used throughout my site designs. When I go to edit the master component to change the rounded corners, I double click into the component onto the rectangle and no option for rounded corners is available?

Hi!I was wondering how automatically give acces to my coworkers the adobe xd project with coediting. I'm with the entreprise plan but not the others, but their account are with our job email. Ex: (me) me@myjob.com,  (coworker1) coworker1@myjob.com,  (coworker2) coworker2@myjob.com, etc. So everytime I create a project they can get access to it without me manually inviting them one by one I think I saw it was possible but I don't find the information again so I was wondering if it was me that didn't understand well or if it was actually possible. Thanks!

Hello! I'm designing an interactive color index.I have 6 rectangles in four colors, and the idea is to activate/deactivate these shapes by clicking the button that matches their color, and creating multiple color combinations by having more than one button activated at the same time.My only problem is that the shapes must mantain their original layer order:the shapes are stacked in a way that makes it impossible to create a component for each color, because it would group all the shapes with the same color together, and compromise the order above.I've tried making the whole thing a single component and prototyping each color inside it, but it didn't work.is there a way to make this sistem work? thanks! 

Does anybody is starting to have a coediting issue? My colleague and myself can't coedit simultaneously anymore, and we don't know why. Does anybody know if they have pull out that feature? Thx a mil   {Renamed By MOD}
