Questions

I'm working on a website design and trying to link all of the pages in a sitemap-style footer. I have the footer saved as a Main Component outside of the artboards and have that component inserted as Instances to the bottom of every page. However, on the artboards it's showing some of the page names as having underlines (see below screenshot comparison, Fleet and Executve SUVs have underlines in the instance on top, but below the main component below does not show these pages as having underlines). Previously, I had these links set up with a hover effect that would underline them but I've since deleted those effects as I didn't think it was needed for the design protoype, so I'm wondering if that affected it somehow, but then it was on several links, not just these two. I was also having issues with the protoype links in the footer component not showing up when I would insert it into the artboards. Only half of the links were working. When collaborating with my team..It gets difficult to update or create a link from the same cloud Xd file. It creates confusion on multiples files created or delays to ask the owner to update. It will be great to have this feature added for better collaboration across the team.

 When designing a feature, it is many times necessary to jump around the canvas from one art board to another. Many times those boards are physically far away in the canvas, requiring tedious zooming up and down to locate and view them. Now, it would be really nice if one could leave placeholder tags around the canvas in those places that are relevant for the feature you are now working on. Then, using some kb command (like Alt + Q, like in Quick), you could cycle the current view between those canvas places, keeping the same zoom level.  Alt + Shift + Q could cycle in reverse order.

The Adobe notice freezes the application window, so I can't drag it, and now I can't click the buttons. I must force quit this... See below. 

I am on a PC so I don't know if that is the problem, but I cannot create a hover or new state in components and edit them independently from each other. According to the tutorials, I should be able to create a new or hover state, edit whatever it is I need to edit, and the original default state will be preserved. Whatever I do in one happens in the other. Help please!

Dear Adobe,  There is something the world and I would ask : Why can't we make link updatable by others ?? A quick situation I just came across : Last week I was on holidays. During these, a designer of my team had to update a design I started on which I created a review link my client has received.  I came back from holidays, had to make some modifications on a design I created before my holidays. But my designer just told me he had to make some during my holidays because he couldn't update the link for the client, so he made a new XD file. So I just spent 2 hours on modifying the wrong xd file. And now I have to copy all the design to paste it on the new document he made, because the client now have his link, not mine (I can't update his link, like he can't update mine). Next week he'll be on holidays, so I'll have to do the same operation... It's been a while since the whole community asks for this vital feature. And I'm pretty sure this featur

First artboard contains area text that auto-animates to 2nd artboard where same area text is larger, rather than a smooth animation from one to the other, I find the smaller text disappear and reappear larger. I noticed this in Shared Design Review Links only. I tried to fix this problem with adobe korea but they didn't give an answer for my problem, so I ask here.I use MacOS Mojave, I downloaded adobe xd and it didn't work.when I open XD, it just shut down and mac said that adobe xd closed unexpectedly.Please solve this problem. I want to use XD

OK this is two versions in a row that have caused major issues with my files. The last version (31.2.12) caused me to have to roll back almost every project to a previous save. The files would open then bounce between saving, and loading. Sadly I installed this right before I had to give a presentation on a lage project and sadly had to reschedule till I could fix the issue.    XD 32 is even worse. I try to open any of my files and they start to open. They get to about 50% open and the app crashes. I tried several things to fix it but ended up have to roll back the software to the previous version (31.2.12).   My boss is asking our entire team to start moving back to sketch because of the number of issues we are having. The worst being the crazy speed performance the app has using components on a Mac using Catalina. I saw that we are advised to use less complex components or decrease the number of states. But that would cause weeks of rework for our current project. We h

Is there a way to move the scroll bar outside of the design when previewing a content? If I am previewing a scrollable artwork the scroll bar is hiding some of my content

Hi Guys, I have Adobe XD through my school license and I have just installed it on to my  Home PC. For some reason when I open up Adobe XD. It opens to the home/launch screen and then within seconds in closes down. I was using it the day before, I saved my work and closed the program and shut my PC down. the next day  when i tried to open XD, it opens to the home/launch screen and then within seconds in closes down. I've tried a few fixes like resetting the app, reinstalling the app and restarting my Home PC. I have Photoshop installed on my Home PC and that works fine. It's just Adobe XD that doesn't seem to be working.

If I 'ungroup' a component to expand it into parts, I would expect the components WITHIN it to stay as components. It should only ungroup one level. If I ungroup my "Carousel/Products" component, I want the ones within it to remain on my artboard as components.  

The current canvas structure on XD is quite limiting. We're expected to create and organize all of our assets on a single canvas which can become quite cumbersome, especially if we want to keep components local to a single file.    Either remove the boundaries on the canvas to be an infinite canvas, or implement some folder structure so we can better organize page types, components, iterations, sandboxes, etc.    <The Title was renamed by moderator>  

Hi there, I'm experiencing an issue when bringing in a large sketch file with multiple layers in to Adobe XD. At first I couldn't find some of the layers that were clearly visible in Sketch. After doing some digging, I noticed that the artboards were available in Adobe XD, but I could not see them because they were sitting off of the canvas. Thanks,Bob

Adobe, is there any plans in the works to upgrade the type controls in XD to allow for better indenting of paragraphs, paragraph spacing vs leading, and quick slect of the previous fonts used? I know this is primarily for wireframing and prototyping but its also a useful design tool and some enghancements in this area would be great. The limited type controls present many challenges that cost time that was gained by using some of the other useful time savers.Thank you.

Whether I design in 100% screen or 70% screen, px stays the same. Why isn't it changing accordingly?

The whole app becomes unresponsive after a minute from opening any project or creating a new one. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that didn't help. I disabled plugins but its the same!I need to work on my project! please help!Matan.

Hello all, hope you can help me with this. I was sent an xd file and want to export it into html. I tried doing it with the file/export menu and also through a plugin (web export). I am unable to get the export done, and get an error message 'no artboard found. you cannot export a pasteboard.' Does anyone have a way around this? I am a complete beginner in xd so would much appreciate any help. Thanks!

I was reading on here about converting xd projects to html etc.  Is this step necessary if i am creating just a small project that will only be used on a temporary basis?  Albeit by a lot of users.  For example, if i create a project and link it (using the link created in XD) through a website or forum to be used temporarily (like for a virtual tradeshow type thing), will there be any technical issues with the link not working or the projecting not working properly because it wasn't coded or converted to some HTML type language?  Sorry for my rudimentary question, i'm so new at this!  thanks for your help!
