I want to know that what will be happen after october 2020 in Adobe XD ? Will Adobe allow previous versions to use on free subscription or they'll shutdown all version's without paid subscription ?

I'm currently working in a PC environment and a MAC user has been brought on to help. We found that when MAC users open our PC-made files, any Text Box that's formatted to be Area Text vs Point Text shifts up between 2-4px. It's causing major issues with QA and Devs. This happens with both Offline & Cloud files. Please help...

I'm not sure why but the asset list in Adobe XD keeps disappearing assets in the list. Just opening the WindowsUI.xd file (which is available on the Microsoft website) and scrolling up/down initially I can see everything but it seems that if I click away from the WindowsUI document screen to any other application on my desktop and switch back, then most of the assets in the list disappear.    Although this is demonstrated in the attached video by opening up a new XD document it happens even if I switch to another application and switch back. I've done this multiple times, and in my case, it's repeatable every time.    Is this a known issue or is there something I can do to prevent this? <The Title was renamed by moderator>

Hi, can you please help me with adobe XD. I have already done almost everything says in an adobe forum regarding the crash issue that happens when opening adobe XD.  I already uninstall and install Adobe XD, restart the machine.  I've done this already https://helpx.adobe.com/xd/kb/adobeXD-launches-into-white-screen-on-windows.html but still my adobe XD is not working.  Hope you can help me with this problem. I am using Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe CC).My computer's operating system is Windows 10 Pro (x64). I want to know the font cache location for Adobe XD (v29.2.32).I installed Open Type Font or True Type Font but Adobe XD doesn't recognize it. Please tell me the location of Font Cache of Adobe XD program.Thanks a lot! 😄

Hello, We'd like to try the XD JIRA App with our On-prem JIRA instance. The installation documentation lists the Adode servers to whitelist by FQDN, however, we are prohibited from whitelisting by FQDN and need the IP's of your servers. Can you provide the IP addresses that we would need to whitelist? Thanks in advance, -John

Hi all, I'm trying to figure out if there's a more efficient way to create responsive (collapsing) menus without having to reorganize screen content to accommodate for extra space every time? Ex. This is the default state with the menu openWhen the menu is collapsed it leaves this chunk of whitespace that makes the layout feel uncentered.To solve for this I've been manually duplicating all screens and redesigning the content to fill the space. So essentially every screen has an open menu version and collapsed menu version. I'm wondering if there's a more efficient way to do this? I've been using auto-animate to do all the transitions between open/collapsed states because with components I can't emulate the content expanding with the menu. Thanks in advance!  

Good evening I made a simple banner in XD and used a layer opacity mode to create a special effect on it. When I try to export my banner, my transparency doesn't follow. I've tried saving as a PDF, PNG and a JPEG and always had the same result. I don't understand why the opacity changes once I export my group. Anyone has any advice on this?Thanks a lot,

I uploaded a prototype of mine and it doesn't fit the browser screen (Chrome, from two different Windows computers) when maximized in full screen mode. I have several other projects that work fine in full screen mode. This project was my latest one and I uploaded it in December of 2017, whereas the other projects were uploaded in October 2017 and before that. I tried reuploading to no avail. Help? Hi guys, This issue has been happening now for almost two weeks, and the last two updates have not fixed. Windows 10 64-bit, XD has essentially become unusable and continually crashes. Both when working on a project, or if it has been minimized. Is there a known problem currently or is anyone else experienceing similar? Thanks

I've been having a connectivity issue for some time now, with constantly getting warning dialogues that my coworkng documents are offline, even though I am online. I have no problem opening the document from the cloud, no problem saving it to the cloud, no problem publishing it, but yet it constantly doesn't recognize that I am online.  It's actually doing this to non-edit sharing docs too, but those don't lock me out of doing anything with the document the way shared ones do. I constantly says I'm offline, but when I save the changes are saved to the cloud and the published link will be updated if I update it just fine, so it is connecting to the cloud on demand.  I have tried disconnecting from vpn and it doesn't seem to matter, (and I know the internet is not going up and down because my vpn itself isn't dropping.) The weird thing is that I do not seem to have this problem on my personal creative cloud account which I'm signed into on a personal computer located in th

Hey, so i was desiging this artboard and wanted to decrease the heightbut whenever i do that, the bottom elemets of the design get excluded from the artboardplease, how to solve this?

Is there a way to create a clicked state animation and change artboard when you press on the state? I'm trying to make a calculator but want to show a cliked state before quickly changing the artboard to the next one after the button has been clicked.

I like XD but it is pain .. huge pain every XD update to use it!  We have cloud document with cooeditig enabled and every update o 9 from 10 user have this message   "Coediting is unavailable while offline. XD will automatically reconnect. Save as a new document to work offline, or close the document. ... "   If we save document like other one .. we can again use and work on document but we have to share document again between us ... again and again and again ... This happen every update!!!! Sorry Adobe .. I know that it is a beta feature .. but why do you this?  OSX 10.15.4 ... last version XD 28.5.12.5 (but it doesn't mather which version .. coz it is for last 3 months same issue with different osx and different XD version ... 👨‍💻🤦‍♂🤷‍♂)   {Renamed By MOD}    

Hi XD Community, Is it possible to just create a Design Spec sheet if my company has locked down Creative Cloud sharing? I would hope that I can just create a document and not have to go through the sharing process for it.  Here is the error that pops up when I try to create a Design Spec:"You can't create links on Creative Cloud because of your organization's sharing restrictions." A giant swift thumbs up to the one that solves this frustrating issue. 😄- Bob B.

Hi I have a shared prototype that works ok however there are a couple of time transitions that do not work on a shared prototype - the screen goes into loading mode as soon as time transitions are evoked. The aperture icon should take you to the protfolio after a couple of time transitions that transofrm the aperture. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

When I send clients links to artwork in XD, they always complain that they can't see the navigation controls at the bottom of the screen – and it's because the cookie acceptance banner (which usually gets ignored) is in the way. I really think the cookie banner needs to be positioned somewhere else, where it isn't overlapping important features like the nav.

I've applied pass-through effect on a shape in my design, when I go to export to jpg the blend mode appears to render differently. The correct version is the lighter one,  the dirtier one is the exported jpg.  Any help would be very much appreciated. See visuals

I am designing for Android Tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab A – 1920x1200 screen).So, as usual, I design in Sketch at 960x600 resolution. I then import into XD. Fine.When I preview on the Android tablet, it does not scale to full screen – I have a black border around the artboard on the device.If I make the artboard larger in XD (1440x900) it scales to fit the full screen on the device. But of course, that throws out my Sketch designs.How do I get 960x600 to scale up to 1920x1200?THX

I've been having issues with my hard drive just being drained. At first, I thought it was because of Dropbox as I have everything in there but it's on Smart Sync so it shouldn't be the issue. I've tested this already and know that is not the issue. I realize the real problem is Adobe XD. When I have multiple files open I can visually see that my hard drive space goes way down. So even when my file is in an external drive that I'm working off of, the scratch disk is still located on my local hard drive. Unlike Photoshop, it allows user to select the scratch disk or use multiple drives for the scratch disk. Anyone else has this issue? Is there a workaround? When will there be an update that can allow users to switch scratch disks?

Hi guys,  I am working on a project and I have a lot of icons to import for use on my artboards. Some of them import fine and I can resize them how I like... but others are waaaaaay too big, even bigger than the viewport of the Adobe XD application is, therefore I cant zoom out all the way to click and drag the SVG icons back to size.  I have also tried changing the size of the icons using the width and height specifiers, but doing this makes the icon just disappear from my artboards and I am unable to locate it.  I have attached an image here showing what happens when I import the icon into the project, it is absolutely massive and takes up the whole screen... the black area is part of the icon lol.  Please help, this is really holding me back from a project 😞  Thanks in advance for your help!Brian 

I have this problem from january with all versions!!!!!!!!No matter the size of the file, after few minutes using XD thaths the situation. Can use up to 8-10 GB!!Even if there is no file open it uses up to 5GB of memory!!!!!!!!!!I cannot work like this anymore!!!Do smth!!!!!I have an issue wuth support for monthes!Nothing solved!
