Questions

I recently installed XD on my notebook and noticed that some icons on the interface and on layers panel were missing or had been changed without explanation.Look at the image below:I'm able to use the program and interact with the layers normally but the lack of icons does not help to differentiate what is inside a group or not. 

I have graphics with lots of colors made in illustrator that I put in my cc libraries. When I drag each from my cc libraries in XD, the graphic turns black. Help.

From what I understand, the character spacing measurement in XD is using milli-ems which are 1/1000 of ems. I'm still trying to properly understand ems in general, but that's what I know at the moment. Looking at the google material UI Kit and they have their font hierarchy listed row by row, with the font size followed by the letter spacing. But when I look at the properties for a specific character style (e.g. Header 01), I can' t make heads or tails on how they came up with the numbers in XD. For example, they have a text label that says "H1 / Roboto Light     96 size/-1.5 letter-spacing". When I click the text to see it's properties, sure enough it's 96 point size, Roboto Light. However, the character spacing is set to -16.1. How does -16.1 translate to -1.5 letter spacing? I attached an image of what I mean but it seems to not be previewing on here.

Hi guys! I cannot find a way to create multiple scrollable boxes in one artboard.   I can only create one scrolling box and for that I need two artboards with start and end box content position.    Anyone can help me to create artboard with boxes scrollable like below? Hi,I'm wondering how it can be that suddenly the kerning (spacing) in my used Roboto font is different in the mobile XD app preview?In the design (desktop app) everything looks fine and was also ok in the mobile XD app, until yesterday...(?) Even other files have strange spacing fonts when viewing it in the mobile XD app.Is there a mobile XD app problem, or am I missing something else?Using Huawei P10Thanks,Robert

Hi there, every other Adobe App do a zomming over the Keybord on a selected element. Why not on XD? Also if i select a artboard. If i want to zoom in over shortcut the focus goes in the middle of all, but not on the selected. thanks level up! best regards! tom   {Renamed By MOD}

Hi there, Mac10.15.3, macbook, not connected to an extra screen; XD28.5.12.5 - Created a design on a desktop, iPad, and mobile viewport - Selected the desktop artboard - Selected Preview, top right button under Prototype - With the Preview window still open - Click on the iPad or Mobile artboard - Result: black bars between the design layout/artboard - Expected? Hi Since today morning I've been having an issue with the components panel. I've been working on a file for months but, for some reason, the components panel won't show/load all of the components. It looks like as if it's a memory problem that won't load the whole file. Also, when I create new components it won't show up in the panels. I've tryed reinstalling, creating a new project, installing on a different PC with no sucess.   <The Title was renamed by moderator>

Hello, i'm facing a problem where i have many components with various states on one screen. In "preview mode" when i click on some element which changes state after tap (for example showing some box on the screen) i can still click on other elements, which are under this box. Those elements are other components, which can not be include in that compontent which leads to this box on the screen. Is it possible to make elements clickable in preview depending on layer or something?  On the screenshot below i present the components (marked by red arrow) which are clicable but shouldn't be, when main component is in this state. From technical reasons, i can not put those components into main compontent because main component should have fixed postion when scrolling and the other components should be easily scrolled. As far as i know, i can not change "fixed postion when scrolling" to each element of component, unfortunately.

Hi all! I'm using XD in Windows 10 in a corporate PC. I want to work with components and the component assets panel doesn't appears (after creating a new component, of course). I can't find an answer to solve it.Could someone guide me on how I should do to see that panel, please? Thanks in advance! 

How do I tell if a text layer is adhering to a character style?

Started to use to co-editing with the team, and it was something we've all been looking forward to. My collegue was presenting live in a meeting and I could edit in real time, add stuff " is this good " etc. it truly worked like a charm, but just yesterday the " accept changes" confirmation feature came which we had not seen so far, and it really killed everything we just learned to love, not being able to work on the same file at the same time  <- really aint co-editing all about this ? , not being able to do live fixes and suggestions while streaming to the group. Is this something you can turn off ? A sign saying " accept changes" without even seeing whats changed really just took off all that was so great to use :))!!    {Renamed By MOD}

Hi,I can't create new project due to crash error report window.When I fill in the report and press button send, it's opening program file and further doing nothing.Will attach the screenshots of both. Everything started with updating my XD and the got program crash several times. Now its not opening new doc.

I have many artboards, when I modify design, the text tool always does not work.After double the text layer, no cursor appeared, but the text is selected in the left layer panel. All the file is frozen, end up to close this file and reopen it can works properly. My team members all have faced this problems. I have updated to the latest version.  Another issue I want to raise is the XD community reply button is not work, after i click it, it is missing. Only missing just like a joke.   

Hi thereI have a problem with shape curve controller. When I draw a rectangle and make its edges curved, after grouping it with other objects, the curve controller dissappears and I can't change the radius anymore. Meanwhile, if I try to change the rectangle's dimension, the curved edges become deformed and it's not a radial curve anymore.Is there any way to avoid this problem or it is a bug in Adobe Xd?

Hello , i have one big probleme. When i export one project from illustrator to XD. XD says " Font missing" but my font works on illustrator. what can i do?   {Renamed By MOD}

Another designer has pushed some changes to the cloud document. But I am stuck in a previous version of the document. It keeps saying "accept changes" I push accept changes, it tries to load it but I am still in the same version and then a little later the same thing again in a loop "accept changes" --> Tries to load --> Still same version when finished. I know there are many changes in the document. I suspect clearing cache of the cloud file locally might help as uninstalling and installing XD again did not. Any suggestions on how to do that? Or other suggestions that might solve this issue? (The document has worked wihtout problem on this computer up until now) Also there is no error message anywhere as far as I can tell, it seems like the sync was "successful" but it is just stuck in the loop and the old version of the document.   {Renamed By MOD}

Good afternoon. I don't have an issue or problem, but more of a "does this feature exist" inquiry.  Let's say I started a project in XD, imported some PSDs from Photoshop, and set up a functional prototype. But then I needed to change some things in multiple PSDs, so I go back into the PSD source files in Photoshop and make those changes, instead of clicking the "Edit in Photoshop" option in XD (since that option only allows the editing of one asset at a time). Is there a way to import the PSDs back into XD so that those updates take place, AND so that it also keeps all my prototyping (the wire interaction lines that connect the pages)? I'd rather not have to reimport all the updated PSDs AND reconnect all the prototype links too. Thanks for your help.   {Renamed By MOD}

I tried to add an overlay to my prototype but it linked to the wrong artboard. I've tried to remove that link (and the green overlay box), but I can't. I've tried a lot of different things, but nothing has worked. Can anyone help? Using XD 28.3 on iMcc OS 10.14. 6. Thanks!

Is there any major UX problem around XD app that needs to be fixed on top priority? Any issue that you have found on design/prototyping, usage of components and assets?

I am prototyping a chat interface with new text added at the bottom. I am doing this using new artboards to show the conversation flow. I need the ability to scroll down on transition to the bottom most post. It falls below the existing point, so I can't just maintain scroll position. Is there a way to scroll to an anchor point, or position the content at the bottom of the artboard with the ability to scroll up (can't lose past messages)? I see some very old feature requests around anchors (2016), but no indication of whether the feature was implemented or a workaround offered.Any help is greatly appreciated. I am new to XD, it seems to be a great tool but this limitation is blocking me at this point. Thanks for any guidance you can offer.

It's more difficult to access or find the files which we were working on XD after the tool has been updated. It would be better if we access the recently open file after updating the XD. Thought?
